Tamulpur man murders wife & posts video online, held
Guwahati: A 35-year-old man was arrested late on Thursday night in Assam's Tamulpur district for allegedly killing his wife following a domestic dispute rooted in financial stress.

The accused reportedly uploaded a video of the crime to social media.
The accused, identified as Bikash Biswas — a daily wage labourer in Nagaland —allegedly killed his 25-year-old wife, Dipali Biswas, with a machete after a heated altercation at their home.
Kumarikata outpost in-charge Kuldeep Gohain said investigations revealed the couple was facing prolonged financial hardship, which frequently led to disputes. "We've recovered the weapon used, and confirmed that Bikash posted a video of the act on social media," Gohain added. Biswas was arrested under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and produced before the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) court in Baksa on Friday.
