UFC to return to Paris in September
The UFC has announced a fight night on 6 September at Accor Arena in is the fourth year in a row the UFC has travelled to the French capital, with the country only legalising MMA in headliner has been announced, but the UFC has several French stars to chose Ciryl Gane, lightweight Benoit Saint Denis, recent flyweight title challenger Manon Fiorot and middleweight Nassourdine Imavov will all be contenders to be the main of them have a fight booked on that night. Saint Denis headlined the 2024 event, losing to Renato UFC travels to Azerbaijan on 21 June, with Welshman Oban Elliott in action, but is yet to announce any other European shows in 2025, having been to London in March.

The UFC continues to make its annual trip to France. A UFC Fight Night event is set to take place Sept. 6 at Accor Arena in Paris, promotion officials announced Tuesday morning. No fights were included in the announcement. The promotion's most recent trip to Paris took place last Sept. 28, 2024, where France's Benoit Saint Denis headlined UFC Fight Night 243 against Renato Moicano. Saint Denis lost a doctor's stoppage TKO in Round 2 after doctors declared him unable to see. In the co-main event, Nassourdine Imavov extended his winning streak by defeating Brendan Allen by unanimous decision, and rising lightweight Fares Ziam scored one of the best knockouts of the year over Matt Frevola. MONTREAL – Benoit Saint Denis met the media Saturday after his win over Kyle Prepolec at UFC 315. Saint Denis (14-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) got some early bits of resistance from Prepolec (18-9 MMA, 0-3 UFC), who took the fight on less than a week's notice to save Saint Denis' spot on the card when Joel Alvarez pulled out. But ultimately, he took over and submitted Prepolec midway into the first round. Saint Denis, who was a massive betting favorite of more than 11-1 in the fight, snapped a two-fight skid and now is hoping for a chance at Mateusz Gamrot, who has claimed Saint Denis turned down a fight. "The only problem is we never got any offer (from Gamrot) for (UFC 315)," Saint Denis said at his post-fight news conference. "I wanted to fight tonight. Now it's done. He knows better than everybody, all the fighters: When you have an opportunity to fight, you want to fight. You don't do a training camp for nothing. "… I don't know what the UFC plans are with Gamrot, if he has a fight planned. But anybody in the top 10, it's an honor and a privilege (to fight them). It's going to be a war." At media day, Saint Denis took questions from media members before his fight, including about his opponent – who stepped up on a week's notice for a second stint in the UFC after Mateusz Gamrot pulled out. "The most important thing is I'm here – I'm ready for a fight," Saint Denis said at Wednesday's media day. "… The UFC is a huge war machine and they found me an opponent for Saturday night."
