Beckham family feud deepens as Cruz's grandparents rush to support his new career – but brother Brooklyn stays silent

THE Beckham feud has continued to deepen as Brooklyn remained silent as his brother Cruz made a huge career move. Victoria and David Beckham 's youngest son Cruz yesterday took to the stage to perform at an intimate gig. 4 4 4 He shared a photo of him playing the guitar and singing. Proud mum Victoria, 51, captioned it "takes me back" and added "love you Cruz". The fashion designer then shared a photo of her parents Jackie and Anthony beaming next to Cruz. She added: "Proud nana and papa. Love you Cruz." But Cruz's older brother Brooklyn, 26, failed to share any message of support for the talented musician. Cruz's girlfriend Jackie Apostel also proudly supported her beau. She wore a red and white American football style shirt with Cruz's name on the back. Jackie also shared a clip Cruz singing and wrote: "I am so proud of you and cannot wait for the world to hear everything you've poured into your craft over the past years. "Everyone that knows you, knows how hard you work and how much you love every second of it, how eager you've always been to learn and be better every single day. "How you respect your peers and the knowledge of those around you, growing, without ever showing off." Jackie, who is also a singer herself, added: "Your project and our passion is what brought us together and to see you and our friends play songs that you wrote and created and the world you build come to life is unbelievable and exciting. I love you." Feud goes on The Beckhams are yet to speak publicly about their family row, but there have been digs thrown around on social media. Tellingly, Brooklyn publicly wished Nicola's brother a happy birthday just days ago, not long after snubbing his dad's milestone entirely and also failed to post a Father's Day tribute. He has also added a floral tattoo to his chest, swamping the "mama's boy" tribute to his mum Victoria that previously took pride of place. While Romeo's romance has ended, Brooklyn and Nicola 's appears stronger than ever as they band together. In a love-struck confession, Brooklyn, 26, said he knew she was "the one" after just three months of dating. He opened up to Glamour on his early plans to pop the question to the Lola actress, who he married in Miami three years ago. In a rare joint interview with his wife, Brooklyn said: "I knew after three months that I wanted to marry her. "But because of Covid, I wanted to wait until our families could be there." The chef and photographer failed to mention his parents, David and Victoria, by name amid their feud which has seen claims Brooklyn has now hired Prince Harry's lawyers to solve the bitter dispute. Brooklyn continued to detail his proposal plans to Glamour's Germany edition and added: "A few hours before, I had a golf cart accident and needed stitches in my hand. "My thumb was completely bandaged - I couldn't even open the wine!" Best friends During the chat, he was quick to gush over his spouse and their almost-instant connection. He said: "When I first saw Nicola at Coachella, I was immediately captivated - by her beauty, her warmth, her charisma. "Even though it was only a fleeting moment, it stayed with me for a long time." He then added: "You have to marry your best friend, someone you feel at home with. For me, Nicola is exactly that." 4

Kim Turnbull continues her summer of single fun at the French MotoGP - after distancing herself from Beckham family feud in shock statement following split from Romeo

Romeo Beckham's ex Kim Turnbull continued her summer of single fun at the French MotoGP this weekend - after finally setting the record straight amid the Beckham family feud. On Monday The DJ and model, 24, broke her silence on the claims she dated her ex-boyfriend Romeo's brother Brooklyn when they were teenagers. The brunette beauty, who recently split from the former footballer, 22, shot down accusations that she was romantically involved with Brooklyn, 26. Kim has been at the centre of claims she was the reason behind a rift between the two brothers, who are currently embroiled in a wider family feud. But she was shrugging off the recent drama as she enjoyed the weekend and '24 hrs in Le Mans' - posing in a sexy black outfit. Snaps posted to Instagram showed her walking around the paddock and even trying out some of the simulators. It comes after she broke her silence on the Beckham family feud and insisted she has only ever had a friendship with the eldest Beckham son. Sharing a statement on her Instagram page on Monday, she said: 'I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. 'I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative. 'I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. 'Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.' Soon after Romeo shared a cryptic post about 'spreading unnecessary lies'. Kim had been at the centre of the row after Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz, 30, claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers. Which she had now denied. Things came to a head when Brooklyn and Nicola were no shows at any of David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, with The Mail revealing that Kim has been made the 'scapegoat' in the feud. Brooklyn and his wife Nicola failed to attend any of football legend David's five celebrations to mark his milestone birthday, including celebrations in Miami, London, Paris the Cotswolds and a boys fishing trip to Scotland. Among the various conspiracy theories that sprung up to explain Brooklyn and Nicola's repeated no-shows, some centered on Kim. Kim, is the well-heeled granddaughter of renowned post-war sculptor and painter William Turnbull, while her father Alex Turnbull and uncle Johnny were part of the post-punk band 23 Skidoo, formed in 1979. She dated Madonna and Guy Ritchie's son Rocco, and through that connection was part of a tightknit friendship group in 2016 which included Brooklyn. Kim and Brooklyn were undeniably close for a brief period – as photographs of them together at the time show - but suggestions that they were ever an item are wide of the mark. That Kim has now been 'thrown to the wolves' as the reason behind the family row is 'deeply upsetting' to Brooklyn's parents and brothers. US website TMZ wrote at the time: 'Sources say Brooklyn and Nicola were told to show up to the main celebrations or they wouldn't get a chance to see the family... leaving the two saddened because they simply won't be around Brooklyn's brother Romeo and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.' 'Sources' also told the news outlet that Nicola can't stand to be in Kim's company. Following their split, friends say that things remain 'amicable' between the Romeo and ex Kim, and that their parting is 'nothing to do' with Kim being blamed by Nicola for being the catalyst for the feud that has ripped the Beckham family apart. One said: 'Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together but at that age things don't always last forever and they decided to split up. 'They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues. It's a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy but it wasn't to be. 'It happened a couple of weeks ago and relations have remained friendly between them. 'David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola and Brooklyn because that simply isn't the case. 'The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too, there is lots of travelling for both of them at having a relationship at this time isn't all that conducive to their lives.' Romeo and Kim were spotted at the trendy C restaurant in London's Mayfair last month but they had already split. They both turned up at the venue separately, with their friends, and even left together. Kim attended several of David's birthday celebrations. She was present at the former England captain's party at the end of March at Cipriani restaurant in Miami. She also joined David, Victoria, and Romeo's younger brother Cruz, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel and sister Harper on their trip to France where they visited a vineyard in Bordeaux and a restaurant in Paris. Kim was also at the big dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, West London. But the tensions between Nicola and the Beckham family existed long before Kim and Romeo started dating in November last year. In fact, they stretch back over three years, to Brooklyn and Nicola's lavish £3million wedding, on Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022. 'Some felt that Nicola was absolutely foul in the run up to the wedding and on the day,' said one source involved in the fall out. 'And now it seems she is trying to suggest it is all Kim's fault. 'She was rude to Victoria, she shunned other members of the Beckham family and now it appears she wants to blame it all on Kim, which is just nasty. It is like they are trying to rewrite history. 'Nicola and her family organised her and Brooklyn's big day and they managed to upset so many people who were there. It was terribly upsetting for David, Victoria and other members of their family. It was difficult at the time but it is devastating now.' The insider claimed Nicola's behaviour at the wedding changed David and Victoria's perception of their new daughter-in-law. 'That was when the Beckhams realised that it was not going to be easy being part of [Nicola's] super-rich family. Some people felt that Nicola was vile. The Beckham gang just adore Brooklyn and wanted to be part of it all. 'Now Nicola is singling Kim out and seems to be making it her fault but she only started dating Romeo last November. Relations have been strained since the wedding and there has been much concern for Brooklyn ever since.'

Nicola gives zero ‘f***s' & Brooklyn wants to be in control – a blow-by-blow account of what big interview really means

JUST when I thought the guns had fallen silent in the Beckhams' feud . . . Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have taken aim and finally had their say. Despite questions about David and Victoria being firmly 'off limits' in a new interview with a glossy magazine, Brooklyn and Nicola got in a few well-placed jabs at them. They hit back at claims Nicola felt upstaged by Posh at her wedding — labelling their big day 'overwhelming'. And they described Nicola being portrayed as a narcissistic monster 'fake news' which is 'not worth' defending. Other subtle jibes include Brooklyn, 26, snubbing the tattoos he had in tribute to his parents, and picking 'Nicola's eyes . . . or our wedding vows' as among his favourite inkings. And pointing out that his hot sauce was branded 23 in a nod to him and his wife — despite his team previously suggesting it was a 'warm nod' to his footballer father's shirt number. The couple spoke to Germany's Glamour magazine, kissing in front of the cameras against a white backdrop as they posed in designer clobber for a very loved-up photoshoot. Yet every word they said appeared meticulously planned to pack a punch in all the right places. In all my years writing about this famous family, I've learned that even the minutiae is treated with meticulous care to protect brand Beckham. And as Brooklyn has found himself an outsider, he seems to be cleverly positioning himself as the leader of his own brand — with his all- American sidekick. On Saturday, we revealed how the US actress had burst into tears on their big day after the wedding singer Marc Anthony had called Posh 'the most beautiful woman in the room' at the reception in Palm Beach, Florida. Nicola, 30, had already had a run-in with Victoria over her wedding dress — with the bride-to-be alleging she had been ghosted by the Spice Girl when she asked her to design the gown. But in the new interview, Nicola wryly mused: 'A wedding can be overwhelming.' Tellingly, Nicola went on to say of their big day: 'It's good to focus for a moment on what it's really about: The two of us.' That's right, not Marc, nor Victoria nor David. Brooklyn's own take on their special day in April 2022 was also eye- opening, as he centred on the motor ride after the wedding ceremony at the Peltz family's estate. Instead of picking the moment he clapped eyes on his bride, he said: 'One of my fondest memories remains the short car ride after the ceremony.' And with the beauty of hindsight, I'm sure he would have got in that stunning blue Jaguar with Nicola and skipped the reception altogether. Not only would his wife not have been in tears and called a 'spoilt brat' for crying over Marc's sycophancy, but he wouldn't have had to listen to the singer swooning over his mum. 11 Nicola added: 'At times, we even considered eloping to Las Vegas.' Elsewhere in the interview, the pair pointedly snapped back at reports regarding Nicola and the state of her relationship with Brooklyn's family. Those close to the Beckham family have said they are concerned Nicola has become a controlling presence in Brooklyn's life — with him no longer speaking to his parents or his siblings. Contact with his grandparents is also said to have been cut, with the family fearing he was being 'held hostage' by Nicola, who is accused of being hell bent on driving a wedge between them. But sources close to Nicola have been firing back, claiming she is being painted as the Gen Z version of Meghan Markle. They say she has done nothing but be a loving and devoted wife. Nicola questioned the narrative being driven — that she is a narcissistic monster — as 'fake news'. There will always be people who talk. The important thing is that we're happy together Brooklyn The line will no doubt have pleased her billionaire, Trump -supporting dad Nelson, given the US President's penchant for calling anything he doesn't like 'fake news'. Nicola added: 'I'd love to deny it immediately, but it's not worth it.' Brooklyn added: 'Don't listen to all the nonsense. Keep your head down, work hard, stay friendly. 'There will always be people who talk. The important thing is that we're happy together.' It's just a shame the talking isn't happening between him and his parents. Brooklyn has more than 100 tattoos and, in the interview, he was asked about which are 'particularly important' to him. Tellingly, a massive heart on his left shoulder with 'mum' written inside it, which he got in 2018, doesn't get a mention. Nor does the one dedicated to his dad, which saw him ink David's middle name Joseph — the same moniker handed down to Brooklyn — on his lower left arm three years ago. 11 11 Instead, Brooklyn said: 'Some mean a lot to me, like Nicola's eyes on my neck or our wedding vows. 'I also have the Star of David and a tattoo honouring my grandfather.' In what could be seen as a dig at Victoria, Nicola added: 'He also got my mother's rosary tattooed on his hand.' And in what seemed another snub to his father, Brooklyn appeared to do a U-turn on the meaning behind the name of his Cloud 23 hot sauce. Last week Brooklyn's team suggested the number 23 was a 'warm nod' to David — who wore that shirt number when he played for Real Madrid and LA Galaxy. But when asked about it in the new interview, Brooklyn said: 'The 23 stands for our engagement date and my age back then.' Nicola also appears to back up her nameless US confidantes, who have been pushing the narrative that the Beckhams use social media to be 'performative'. David and Victoria have both shared snaps in recent weeks that include their son Brooklyn — with Victoria captioning one of her posts: 'I love you all so much.' Can of worms Nicola said: 'It's easy to create an image of a perfect life, even though, of course, no one is happy all the time. 'That's the difficult thing about social media: You start to question everything.' There is also a hint at Brooklyn's incendiary social media post last month, which saw him telling Nicola 'I always choose you.' She told the magazine: 'Ultimately, it's important to show reality, even if it's not always easy.' After the post, Brooklyn was slammed for turning his back on his parents. Those close to David and Victoria told me Brooklyn's words were like a 'dagger to their hearts'. But Nicola seemingly has no regrets, adding: 'I often don't even know what's right, but I post it anyway.' The pair veer towards opening a fresh can of worms, when asked about the 'most important advice' they would give to young couples. Nicola responded: 'My parents taught me, 'Always tell the truth, we'll help you'. I still carry this attitude of being open and honest deep in my heart today. 'You never regret it. On the contrary, true closeness only comes from genuine connection, that is, when you have the courage to be honest.' Brooklyn added: 'Always be honest.' Wildly differing versions of events surrounding David's 50th birthday celebrations — the catalyst of the latest feud — have been proferred by the two camps. Brooklyn and Nicola claim they offered to meet David and Victoria privately but were rebuffed. People close to the Beckhams described this as nonsense, claiming that there has been zero contact from Brooklyn to his famous parents in weeks. A parting shot, buried within the interview, sees Brooklyn laying out his stall when it comes to his marriage. When asked about giving advice to young couples, he said: 'Love and protect each other, always.' In other words, he is saying don't come for us — because we'll come for you. And in this endless game of tit for tat, it might be time for the Beckhams to wave the white flags before this all gets even uglier. 11

Cruz Beckham begs for the ‘truth' in cryptic post amid family feud with brother Brooklyn

CRUZ Beckham has begged for the "truth" in a cryptic post, amid the his family's feud with brother Brooklyn. Brooklyn, 26, and wife Nicola Peltz, 30, first sparked rumours of a huge rift when they snubbed all of dad David's 50th birthday celebrations. 5 5 Now the youngest of the Beckham boys appears to want to put an end to the drama, with his latest post. Cruz, 20, shared a cryptic message on his latest Instagram Stories. The aspiring singer wrote: "It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile. "Be kind and tell the truth." Cruz's brother Romeo, 22, has also been sharing cryptic posts on Instagram as the rift rumbles on. FEUD DEEPENS Yesterday, the Beckham feud appeared to deepen when it was revealed how David, 50, and Victoria, 51, 'didn't even know' son Brooklyn was in London recently, when he failed to visit them amid their family feud. It was reported that the eldest of the Beckham kids snubbed his famous parents, during a low-key visit to the capital last week - and now the real reason has been "revealed". Insiders say retired footballer David and fashion designer Victoria 'can't deal' with the situation between them and their son. The source told US Weekly: 'It's sad, really. 'David and Victoria didn't even know Brooklyn was in London. It's becoming increasingly clear how strained things are behind the scenes. Brooklyn Beckham takes swipe at David and Victoria amid 'family feud' as he shares tribute to wife Nicola Peltz 'David and Victoria always turn up for Brooklyn and Nicola, whether it's for the launch of his hot sauce brand or her movie premiere. This is just very sad.' The insider added: 'Brooklyn's family adores him and will always be there for him. They just can't deal with this nonsense anymore.' The source also claimed that Brooklyn decided not to meet with his parents as he's "trying to let things go right now and is giving everyone space". DAMNING POST Last weekend Brooklyn made his feelings very clear with a damning social media post in which he vowed to always put his wife first. He said: 'My whole world. I will love you forever. I always choose you baby.' Fans were less than impressed, with one commenting: "Why do you need to do this post on social media , who are you trying to convince? There's no need to say these things publicly - odd." A second said: "What on earth forced you to choose…just miss those Beckhams together days." While at third remarked: "Remember kid, you are nothing without your parents.'

Beckhams in crisis? Grow up!

T he most baffling thing about the Beckham family feud — which both sides seem oddly keen to conduct both in public and in excruciating detail — is that it can be boiled down to one simple thing: first-born son marries woman his mother doesn't like. All the guff billowing from 'close friends' and 'sources close to' about how 'staggered and deeply concerned' Posh and Becks are — and how heartbreaking it is for all concerned — is a tale as old as time: mothers and their sons. Brooklyn Beckham with his wife, Nicola Peltz INSTAGRAM As far as I can gather, and you'll have to forgive me if I'm not word perfect on this, first there was the row between Nicola Peltz and Posh over her wedding dress, which was by Valentino not Victoria Beckham. And, to be fair, you can see both sides: it's easy to understand why Posh was a bit miffed but also why the bride insisted on choosing her own wedding dress.
