Should existing mechanisms prove incapable of fulfilling this role, the international community must begin a serious dialogue on developing alternative frameworks that ensure accountability, enforce justice, and safeguard global peace. The Iraqi government reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the principles of sovereignty, non-use of force, and the peaceful resolution of disputes. It also expresses its solidarity with the Iranian people and with all peoples and nations who believe in a just international order based on respect for rules rather than their violation, and on the rule of law, not the law of the jungle. Iraqi Government Spokesman, Basim Alawadi said in an official statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that the Iraqi government condemns and rejects the brutal policy of starvation imposed on the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza. The statement read 'It is now unmistakably clear that the Zionist entity has violated all humanitarian and legal norms, using siege tactics and the obstruction of humanitarian and food aid as tools to escalate the killing of Palestinians.' The statement further said 'We therefore call on all Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the international community and relevant global organizations, to uphold their responsibilities and exert maximum pressure to guarantee the delivery of humanitarian and food aid, in light of the Zionist entity's continued pursuit of all-out war and its deliberate attempts to cause famine among the besieged population of Gaza.'
