SUGA completes military service two days before official discharge — BTS now fully reunited as all members return

ARMYs, we've waited patiently, and now we finally get to say it: Suga is back! The BTS rapper has officially wrapped up his alternative military service, days ahead of schedule. Though his official discharge date is June 21, he completed his final day of duty on June 18, sparking excitement across the fandom. Suga completes his military service ahead of official discharge Suga fulfilled his service as a public service worker, an alternate form of mandatory military service, having enlisted on September 22, 2023, due to previous shoulder surgery. And he wrapped it all up efficiently by using his remaining annual leave, which is a standard and approved process, according to the Yonhap News Agency. That means he's technically on leave until June 21 but functionally free to rejoin the world and eventually the stage. He also completed basic military training during his service, proving once again his commitment to both duty and discipline. Suga spotted at J-Hope's concert, cheering for a mini Bangtan reunion Suga was last seen in public on June 13, attending J-Hope's encore solo concert finale at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium, which coincided with BTS' annual Festa celebration. Dressed in a beanie and mask, he kept a low profile in the crowd, but fans quickly caught on and were thrilled to spot him along with other members. His pics and videos, shared widely online, felt like the soft beginning of BTS's long-awaited reunion as Jin and Jungkook joined J-Hope on the stage. V, RM, SUGA, and Jimin at j-hope's concert today. All BTS members have now completed military service Now that SUGA has officially completed his military service, BTS is finally seven again. The long-awaited full reunion is no longer a distant dream, marking the end of an era where fans had to cheer on the members one enlistment at a time. Jin was the first to return in June 2024, followed by J-Hope in October. This month, RM and V were discharged together on June 10, while Jimin and Jungkook came back just a day later on June 11. And with SUGA finishing up his duties ahead of schedule on June 18, the group is now officially complete for the first time since late 2022. With the emotional wave of BTS FESTA 2025 still fresh, and the members now reunited and reenergised, fans are now looking forward to what's next. A HYBE official recently confirmed that the group will release new music in March 2026, but an official announcement is awaited. His quiet presence was loud enough for fans who hadn't seen him since enlistment. Waiting for you, Min Yoongi! With 6 BTS members back, ARMY begins countdown to SUGA's military discharge

By June 11, 2025, six members of the world's biggest group, BTS, have completed their mandatory military service. Jin, the oldest member of the K-pop supergroup, was discharged in June 2024, followed by J-Hope in October. RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook were discharged on June 10 and 11, respectively. Now, ARMY eagerly awaits the return of rapper and producer SUGA, also known as Min Yoongi. When will BTS' SUGA be discharged? With the final two members discharged on June 11, all eyes are now on Min Yoongi, as ARMY begins the countdown to his return. SUGA, who has been fulfilling his mandatory service in the public sector due to a previous shoulder surgery, is set to complete his duties on June 21. He will be the last member to finish his enlistment, marking the full reunion of all seven BTS members by the end of June 2025. However, according to a user on X (formerly Twitter), SUGA might actually be discharged a day earlier, on Friday, June 20. They explained, "Yoongi is serving as a public service worker, so his discharge is likely to happen after his final shift. Since June 21 falls on a Saturday — a day when public offices in South Korea are typically closed — it's possible he could be officially free by Friday evening." Yoongi is in public service worker, so his discharge is more likely to happen late after a finished shift. June 21st is also a Saturday, and in South Korea public offices typically don't work on saturdays. It means that he might be factually free with Friday closing on June 20th.… The user also noted that, unlike active-duty soldiers, public service workers do not have formal discharge ceremonies. "It's more like an employee ending a contract — they return their passes and belongings, and that's it. So, all things considered, Yoongi could pop up on Weverse at any time this weekend." Waiting for you, Min Yoongi Soon enough, ARMY flooded X to state that they are waiting for the "cat-like" member of the group and are hoping he is doing well for now. Especially after he was made a scapegoat of fake news over him drunk riding an e-scooter and falling down while taking a sharp turn. ARMY only wish he knows he is loved and started tags like "ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI" and "Suga we are waiting for you". Welcome home jimin and Jungkook 😭👏Suga we are waiting for you 😄 ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR YOU YOONGI ARMYS ARE WAITING FOR My dear Yoongi,Bangtan & ARMY are waiting for you. Please keep safe & healthy. We will see you soon! 🤗💐🫡💜Meei ⟭⟬E ARE B⟬⟭CK#BTS #SUGA @BTS_twt #BTSFESTA2025#WeAreBack Yoongi, we are all waiting for you 🥺 More about BTS To celebrate the group's long-awaited return and their 12th debut anniversary, HYBE has decked out its headquarters in Seoul's Yongsan-gu District with a special tribute. On June 10, the company unveiled large-scale decorations featuring the official logos of BTS and their fandom, ARMY, alongside the bold message: "We are back." These visuals will remain on display through June 29 in honour of the group's debut anniversary, which falls on June 13. As part of the celebrations, the 2025 BTS Festa will take place on June 13–14 at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province. The two-day event promises to bring fans together for a vibrant celebration of BTS' legacy, music, and their journey over the past 12 years.
