More schedule changes confirmed as EastEnders is pulled from BBC One
As the summer of sport begins, EastEnders will become the latest soap to have their schedule changed as a result. Due to the Wimbledon coverage on BBC One, there won't be any room for EastEnders to air in the usual 7:30pm slot. Don't worry, you won't miss a week of the soap, but you will have to flick over to BBC Two to watch the instalments. On the week commencing June 30, EastEnders will only air on the Monday and Tuesday, but will broadcast two episodes in a row, therefore effectively broadcasting a week's worth of episodes in just two days. It will air as follows: Monday, June 30 – 7pm and then again at 7:30pm. Tuesday, July 1 – 7pm and then again at 7:30pm. The drama taking place in Walford across those two days will involve Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) clashing, while Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) plots to catch someone out. It's been quite the week in EastEnders. On Monday, fans up and down the country got a huge shock as Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) returned to our screens. Easily the best of them was Disability Benefits, co-written by comedian Rosie Jones and Peter Fellows, a screenwriter whose CV features The Death of Stalin, Veep, Avenue 5 and Fantastic Friends. Jones also played the lead role of Emily, a young woman facing a financial nightmare after losing her job and having the titular payments cut by the government, forcing her into a life of crime. Written by Brad Ingelsby (Mare of Easttown), this moody (if a tad predictable) number stars Sydney Sweeney alongside 'dad' Kyle MacLachlan and Fiona Shaw.

Rylan Clark confesses to 'secret single behaviour' as he opens up about dating
Rylan Clark has admitted he's been 'on his own' for the past few years and only been on two dates in the last two years as he opened up about his single life and candidly opened up about his personal quirks Rylan Clark has confessed that the glare of fame has dampened his dating life, as he admits to being solitary and only going on two dates in the past couple of years. The 36 year old TV and radio personality enjoys a night out at bars and clubs but hesitates to approach potential interests due to his public profile. In a candid chat with 67 year old psychotherapist Philippa Perry on his podcast 'Rylan: How to Be in Love', he shared: "I've genuinely been in a situation where I've been in a bar, and I've looked at someone across the way. "They've looked at me, I've looked at them, and I would never feel confident going up to someone because of my job. I think, 'Are they looking at me because I'm Rylan, or are they looking at me because they think, he's alright?" Since parting ways with his husband Dan Neal in 2021, the BBC Radio 2 presenter has experienced loneliness while living by himself for the first time ever, reports the Manchester Evening News. Rylan revealed: "For the past few years, I have been on my own, in the sense of living on my own, which is something I've never done in my entire life. But I have got to the point where I've got my 'SSB', my Secret Single Behaviour, where I might talk to the coffee machine in the morning and go, 'Of course you want me to empty the drip trays!'" Rylan Clark has candidly opened up about his personal quirks and love life post-divorce, revealing what he seeks in a partner. The TV personality, who split from his husband Dan, has been back on the dating scene, even embarking on blind dates in Italy with his mate Rob Rinder, 47, for their BBC Two series 'Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour'. In a frank admission, Rylan shared his unique outlook: "You know, it winds me up, but I will say it out loud. Some people might think I'm unwell. I'm not, it's my Secret Single Behaviour." Heston Blumenthal says moment he was sectioned was ‘like a nightmare'
The restaurateur has spoken widely of his mental health issues in recent months, and told the I'm ADHD! No You're Not podcast that 'talking is the most important thing'. 'Sharing stories helps us realise we are not alone,' he said. 'The more we share, the more we normalise. 'It's OK to not be OK. 'I had an awful lot of wonderful responses to the things that I've been saying and talking about. 'From either people that have bipolar, or neurodiverse people. 'Also from people who've lived with people with bipolar.' Blumenthal, who presented Channel 4 shows Heston's Fantastical Food and Heston's Feasts, was sectioned following a manic episode and given a diagnosis of bipolar disorder in November 2023. Appearing on the podcast, which is presented by comedian Paul Whitehouse and his wife Dr Mine Conkbayir, Blumenthal described how he was forcibly pinned down on his sofa and given an injection to sedate him so he could be sectioned. 'There were nine people there, and they said, 'We're going to give you an injection and take you to hospital'. 'I got pinned on the sofa, my arms crossed, two people on each arm. 'I was fighting, and I saw the doctor pull out this massive syringe and I thought it was like a nightmare I used to have as a kid.' Blumenthal, known for his experimental dishes including snail porridge and bacon and egg ice cream, has been awarded seven Michelin stars over the course of his career.
