Glastonbury Surprise Set Odds 2025: Here are the 11 artists tipped to play secret gigs at Worthy Farm - from Lewis Capaldi to Radiohead
It's nearly time for one of the biggest musical events of the year - as 135,000 people pack into Worthy Farm for the Glastonbury Festival . They'll see headliners The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo and Neil Young, along with hundreds of other acts across over 100 stages. But looking at the schedule on the official website, music fans will see numerous timeslots with 'TBA' next to them - with no indication of who will be playing. It could be a global megastar, or some busker from down the road on an acoustic guitar. Such is the joy of the festival. There are some big gaps to be filled - on Friday there's 11.30am on the Woodsies Stage, 4.55pm on the Pyramid Stage, and 8.30pm on the BBC Introducing Stage. On Saturday, expect plenty of interest about who exactly 'Patchwork' are - third on the Pyramid Stage bill. Meanwhile there will be surprises for prime spots on the Park Stage at 7.30pm and the Shangri-la Stage at midnight. On Sunday, those opting to go to the BBC Introducing Stage at 8.30pm could be in for a treat (or not). The bookies reckon they have a fair idea of who will be playing the secret slots - here are their 11 favourites. 1 . Haim - 1/5 The three sisters of Haim have a new album out and are in the UK with free time on Glastonbury weekend. The fact that there's a book called 'Patchwork' written by a German author called Sylvia HAIM means some people reckon they've solved the riddle of the mysterious band of the same name appearing third on the bill on the Saturday. Pulp - 1/2 Another band with an acclaimed new album out and who are currently touring (but have a gap at Glastonbury-time) are Sheffield indie stars Pulp. They've headlined twice in the past, including stepping in at short notice when The Stone Roses pulled out, and would be a popular booking. Lewis Capaldi - 1/2 Scotland's own Lewis Capaldi is a big favourite to play a surprise set before Alanis Morissette on the Friday on the Pyramid Stage at 4.55pm - his odds are a narrow 1/2. Two years ago he famously needed the crowd's help to finish a song due to his much-publicised health problems, which led to him taking a career break. Mumford & Sons - 2/1 Mumford & Sons released fifth studio album 'Rushmore' earlier this year and are getting back to playing live - recently headlining Radio 1's Big Weekend. They topped the bill on the Pyramid Stage in 2013. It would seem to be a good time for them to return - ahead of a fallow year in 2026. TRNSMT Glasgow 2025 site map revealed ahead of weekend festival
TRNSMT at Glasgow Green is now less than a month away, with some star-studded acts taking to the stage across the weekend for Scotland's biggest music festival of the year. The countdown is officially on for the best weekend of the summer in Scotland, as TRNSMT returns to Glasgow Green. Organisers have now shared the site map, enabling punters to easily find their way around. TRNSMT promises to bring a stellar line-up across the weekend July 11, 12 and 13. As part of Glasgow's 850th anniversary festivities, the BBC Introducing Stage will shine a light on the city's vibrant music scene, featuring local Glasgow rising talents. Elsewhere, headlining acts include 50 Cent, Snow Patrol, and Biffy Clyro. The Script, Tom Walker, Nathan Evans, and The View's Kyle Falconer have also joined the set list across the jam-packed weekend. Rockstar Energy has revealed some exciting new additions. The Boogie Bar stage has been taken over by BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage this year in a brand new location near the main entrance. Hosting 18 acts to get festival-goers boogieing over the course of the three days, including sets from Jaguar, who presents on Radio 1 's Introducing Dance show and Glaswegian DJ La La, joining other top selectors from across the UK. Fans will be excited to hear The Hangout also makes its return, a space exclusively for over 18s to take a break from the buzz of the main stages. Already confirmed are some of the weekend's biggest parties - Bongo's Bingo and Drag-aoke with Miss Lola Fierce - with plenty of live music from buskers, DJ sets and more. The East Entrance is now for accessible fans only, and all general admission ticket holders must enter through the west entrance, with VIP ticket holders arriving through the VIP entrance as they have done in previous years. VIP ticketholders will be able to enjoy the exclusive VIP Garden which hosts barshosts, hosting bars, food outlets, seating, DJs and upgraded toilets. VIP+ tickets are still available which also includes main stage front pen access - so you won't miss out on the action The site map highlights the locations of the stages and VIP area, as well as where all the amazing bars, food vendors, and pop-up activations can be found. This year includes the Rockstar Energy Drink Bar, Pepsi Max, Jägermeister's Jägerplatz, Smirnoff Bar, as well as Three's 'Charge and Vibe' and a second charging station. A festival spokesperson said: 'We're buzzing to share the official TRNSMT site map with fans – it means we're one step closer to gates opening! It's the perfect tool to start planning your weekend, from finding your favourite stage to checking out bars, food spots, and all the key information to make the most of your festival experience. We can't wait to welcome everyone to Glasgow Green very soon!' There are a range of ticket packages, including VIP experiences and fans can find out more about these here. Day tickets start from £89.50 and weekend tickets start from £254.90. Fans can buy now and pay later at the checkout via Ticketmaster to spread the cost of their ticket.
