The government has increased the retail prices of RON97 petrol and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia by 7 sen per litre for the period of June 19 to 25, 2025, following a rise in global oil prices. RON97 is now priced at RM3.14 per litre, up from RM3.07, while diesel in Peninsular Malaysia is set at RM2.81 per litre. Despite the latest revision, the diesel price remains below the RM3.35 per litre level seen when it was first floated on June 10, 2024.
