Budget SonoFlow HQ31 Wireless Headphones Now With Hi-Res Certification
The new SonoFlow SE HQ31 headphones from 1More are shipping now and offer a considerable lift in specifications from their predecessor. The new wireless headphones use the latest Bluetooth 5.4 protocols and have large 40mm drivers with titanium-coated composite diaphragms that 1MORE says offer a balanced sound signature that's warm and detailed right across the frequency range.
Pitched as audiophile-grade listening, the SonoFlow SE HQ31 are certified for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless thanks to support for the Hi-Res LDAC codec with a bandwidth of up to 40 kHz. The headphones also include a dozen customizable EQ presets that users can access through the 1MORE app. The EQ presets can be fine-tuned to suit the listener's preference.
Another advanced feature is Spatial Audio Technology which expands the soundstage and delivers an immersive 3D effect which is popular for movies, music and gaming. The SonoFlow SE HQ31 headphones are also equipped with 1MORE's QuietMax hybrid active noise cancellation. This form of ANC can reduce unwanted ambient noise by over 42dB for fewer distractions when listening to music.
For a little more versatility, the new headphones also have a Transparency Mode that enables users to stay aware of their surroundings without the need to remove the headphones. This makes listening to conversations, travel announcements or staying alert in outdoor settings possible without taking the headphones off.
Thanks to four dual AI-enhanced microphones with Deep Neural Network noise reduction, the headphones can filter out unwanted background noises during phone calls or video calls for better clarity, making the HQ31 suitable for making work calls, joining online meetings and taking part in voice chats, even in busy environments.
With up to 90 hours of continuous playback time with the ANC turned off, the HQ31 manages an extra 20 hours compared to the previous HQ30 model. The SonoFlow SE HQ31 can play music for up to four days on a single charge and if the user needs a quick power boost, a five-minute fast charge can provide an additional five hours of playback time.
The HQ31 headphones can also work in wired mode using the included 3.5mm aux cable. The kit also includes a USB-C charging cable and carry case. Combining a lightweight frame with slow-rebound ear cushions and an adjustable headband, 1MORE says the SonoFlow SE HQ31 offer a snug and breathable fit that's suitable for extended listening sessions.
