Former THE BOYZ Member Ju Haknyeon Speaks Out On Prostitution Allegations
It's been a rough few days for the K-pop group THE BOYZ (더보이즈). Just days after member Ju Haknyeon (주학년) announced his hiatus, a prostitution allegation emerged, causing him to get booted from the boy group. Yesterday (18th June 2025, Wednesday), THE BOYZ's label, One Hundred Label, announced Ju Haknyeon's departure from THE BOYZ and the label. This announcement follows a previous announcement that the idol was going on a hiatus from his group activities. In the statement, the label revealed that Ju Haknyeon was involved in a controversial incident. After discussing with other group members, One Hundred terminated the idol's contract. Later, reports emerged that the 26-year-old was under suspicion for soliciting prostitution following a meeting with former Japanese adult actress Asuka Kirara (明日花キララ). According to news outlets, the pair and a few acquaintances met at a bar in Tokyo on 30th May 2025. After drinking for hours, Ju Haknyeon gave Asuka a sum of money, triggering suspicion that he had paid her for sex. Under South Korean law, any Korean national who engages in prostitution, whether in the country or abroad, can be subject to a fine or up to one year in prison. News outlets also reported that One Hundred found circumstantial evidence of the incident. After the label presented him with damning evidence, Ju Haknyeon admitted to the accusations and agreed to leave the group and his label due to the possible legal consequences. However, Ju Haknyeon took to his Instagram account to deny the allegations. In his handwritten letter, the singer apologised for the turmoil and admitted to meeting with Asuka. However, he denied participating in illegal actions or prostitution. Ju Haknyeon didn't clarify the matter. Instead, he ended the letter by saying he would reflect on his actions. The issues evoked mixed reactions from fans and netizens. While some condemned the idol for possibly soliciting prostitution, others were confident that he was innocent. Meanwhile, the other members of THE BOYZ have since unfollowed Ju Haknyeon on their personal social media pages. The boy group has written individual messages, apologising for the scandal and assured fans about their future activities. If the allegations are true, Ju Haknyeon will have to face the consequences of his actions. However, if he never engaged in any illegal act, we hope he can clear his name. Before The Boyz's Ju Haknyeon, Kirara Asuka was linked to another idol — accused of cheating on boyfriend Ryu Hirokawa
After THE BOYZ's Ju Haknyeon was officially removed from the group following a late-night rendezvous with retired Japanese pornstar Kirara Asuka, the internet hasn't stopped talking. What began as a tabloid scoop from Tokyo quickly turned into a major point of discussion among fans, with new information surfacing online. Ju's agency, One Hundred Label, terminated his contract, citing the seriousness of the incident, and many fans began questioning Asuka's involvement. But this isn't the first time her name has been linked to a male idol. An earlier controversy has now come back into focus. Kirara Asuka and Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei's forgotten scandal resurfaces Before Ju Haknyeon, there was Inoo Kei. A past report from Japanese media outlet Shukan Josei, now getting renewed attention, linked Asuka to Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei nearly a decade ago. The two were reportedly seen together in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands hotel. Eyewitnesses claimed they looked like a couple and were spotted getting cosy in the jacuzzi. At the time, Johnny & Associates quickly issued a statement saying they had only met once at a friend's dinner party and their meeting in Singapore was purely coincidental. Asuka's agency echoed the same, while she remained silent. Fans had their doubts then, and with the latest scandal, those doubts have resurfaced. What about her boyfriend? Questions around YouTuber Ryu Hirokawa Many also remember Asuka's more recent relationship with Japanese YouTuber Ryu Hirokawa, also known as Hilock. The pair went public in 2024 after appearing together at a cosplay fashion event in Osaka. They dressed as characters from the anime Fairy Musketeers Little Red Riding Hood, fulfilling Ryu's dream of walking the runway. Ryu, who revealed his intellectual disability in 2021, received support for his openness and growing influence on social media. But now, people are wondering if they had broken up before Asuka's meeting with Ju Haknyeon. Since no official breakup was ever announced, fans are left to connect the dots. More about Ju Haknyeon's controversy Ju Haknyeon's scandal began making waves after he was reportedly seen spending a late night out with retired Japanese adult film actress Kirara Asuka in Tokyo's Roppongi district on May 29, 2025. According to witnesses, the two appeared quite close, sharing drinks, laughing, and even cosying up to each other at the bar. Photos from the night showed Asuka resting her chin on Ju's shoulder, which only added fuel to the fire. As speculation grew, his agency acted quickly, first announcing a hiatus and then officially terminating his contract on June 18, citing the seriousness of the situation and broken trust within the group. While Ju Haknyeon's departure from THE BOYZ has made headlines, Kirara Asuka has yet to comment on the scandal. WWE Raw Results, Winners And Grades On June 16, 2025
WWE Raw advertised two King and Queen of the Ring Qualifiers as Asuka returned to defeat Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vaquer, Raquel Rodriguez. Raw also advertised Jey Uso vs. Sheamus, Bronson Reed and Rusev. Goldberg returned to Raw to confront Gunther, and in a scary moment, Liv Morgan appeared to suffer a serious shoulder injury early into her match against Kairi Sane. It was later revealed that Morgan dislocated her right shoulder. Liv Morgan, accompanied by Dominik Mysterio demanded Iyo Sky hand the WWE Women's World Championship over. Sky answered Morgan's challenge telling her to shut up. Dominik Mysterio interjected and was booed vociferously. Iyo Sky teased handing over the Women's World Title, only to dropkick both Morgan and Dominik. Asuka received a huge reaction for her return. Her opponents worked over her good leg throughout the match. A showdown between Stephanie Vaquer and Asuka, both of whom were very over in this match, somehow did not receive the heat it deserved. Stephanie Vaquer tried the Devil's Kiss, but it was broken up by Raquel Rodriguez. Huge heat. Vaquer then tried the Devil's Kiss on Rodriguez herself, but Rodriguez countered with an Electric Chair. Vaquer countered and finally connected with the Devil's Kiss on the apron. Rhea Ripley pulled Rodriguez out of the ring as she had the match won, similar to what happened to Rhea at the hands of Rodriguez during Rhea's QOTR match. Rodriguez took a Riptide and went on to take the losing pinfall to Asuka. Gunther, who was heavily booed, received a pyro celebration (equipped with a drone camera) during his entrance. Gunther made a reference to 'what's next," prompting fans to chant for Goldberg. Gunther said 'no, not that guy! I already cussed him out in front of his own family…" Gunther then brought up Seth Rollins, only to be interrupted by Goldberg. Goldberg congratulated Goldberg. He said he was proud of Gunther. Goldberg then said Gunther started something with Goldberg in Atlanta, and Goldberg was going to make sure he was going to end it in Atlanta. Goldberg challenged Gunther to SNME in Atlanta, July 12, because he's next. Backstage, the Judgment Day continued to crumble as Finn Balor beamed in the background like only he could. Despite being booed earlier, fans chanted for Dirty Dom in the early goings of Styles vs. McDonagh. Corey Graves called an Ushigoroshi by Styles, and Michael Cole—who typically works with the more casual Pat McAfee—said 'I haven't heard that in years.' Styles best McDonagh clean, and made it clear he was coming after Dominik Mysterio's IC Title. Bayley received a warm reception, but less warm than Asuka's. Bayley then paused for a singing chant, but didn't get it. 'We'll get there, eventually," said Bayley. Fans eventually chanted 'Let's go Bayley.' Bayley said Becky Lynch taking he rout of WrestleMania didn't hurt her, it healed her and made her stronger. To make sure she'd get booed, Becky Lynch walked out in Bears gear. Of note, Seth Rollins, Lynch's 'Hot husband,' is a diehard Bears fan like a lot of Chicago's worst. Fans in God's country of Green Bay chanted 'Bears still suck!' Lynch quipped back by saying 'They beat you last time.' There was an awkward moment where Becky Lynch leaned against the ropes, feigning fear of Bayley. Bayley seemed to get legit perturbed, telling Becky to 'Step up,' in the middle of an erratic promo. Lynch slapped Bayley, Bayley no-sold the move and delivered a stiff forearm to Becky Lynch. Backstage, Bayley received an Intercontinental Title shot next week. Lyra Valkyria was none-too-pleased. After just one takedown, Liv Morgan dislocated her shoulder. There was an awkward pause as the camera cut to a shot of Kairi Sane, and Morgan was not seen on camera for the rest of the match. After an emergency commercial break, WWE returned with the match being forfeited. Morgan used her arms to break a fall and suffered a freak injury. Hopefully it is not a long-term injury for one of WWE's top stars. Fans were really into Rusev, chanting 'Rusev Day!' Green Bay came alive during a showdown between Rusev and Sheamus, and there were dueling chants of 'Let's go Sheamus/Rusev Day!' Jey Uso went for a splash, but was stopped by Bron Breakker. Sami Zayn came to Jey's aid, but Breakker yeeted Zayn across the announce table. Penta hit the ring and hit a dive on Breakker. As Reed tried to capitalize, LA Knight hit the ring and got his lick back. This led to two Uso Splashes for the win. Seth Rollins hit the ring, followed by Cody Rhodes to the biggest pop of the night. Fans chanted 'Holy shit!' as they stared each other down. Seth Rollins backed down to a chorus of boos.
