NEW YORK — Kyle Hendricks and three relievers combined on a four-hitter as the Los Angeles Angels beat the slumping New York Yankees 4-0 on Tuesday night to hand them their third straight shutout. New York manager Aaron Boone tinkered with his lineup — batting rookie Jasson Domínguez first and dropping Paul Goldschmidt to sixth — but it didn't yield results for the Yankees, who were 0 for 10 with runners on and got just three to second base.

Schanuel's 11th-inning double lifts Angels over Yankees 1-0, extending their losing streak to 4
NEW YORK — Nolan Schanuel hit a run-scoring double in the 11th inning and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Yankees 1-0 on Monday night, extending New York's losing streak to a season-high four games. Schanuel's one-out, opposite-field hit to left off Jonathan Loáisiga (0-1) scored automatic runner Christian Moore, a Brooklyn native who tripled in the eighth for his first major league hit. Ryan Zeferjahn (4-1) pitched a hitless 10th. After the Yankees loaded the bases with two outs against Brock Burke in the bottom half, Hunter Strickland got Anthony Volpe to bounce into a forceout for his first save this year as Los Angeles improved to 5-0 in extra innings and dropped the Yankees to 1-5. AL East-leading New York has scored five runs in its last five games and has lost four in a row for the first time since last July 2-5. The Yankees went 1 for 18 with runners in scoring position. Giancarlo Stanton went 2 for 4 in his season debut with a fourth-inning single and a leadoff double in the ninth after missing 70 games because inflammation in the tendons of both elbows. After the double, third baseman Luis Rengifo made a superb play on Volpe's grounder, tagging Jasson Domínguez and tumbling as the helmet of the pinch runner hit a knee. Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt allowed four hits in 7 2/3 innings, retiring 16 straight batters during one stretch. Angels right-hander José Soriano gave up six hits in seven innings. Moore went 1 for 4 in his first trip to Yankee Stadium. The 22-year-old second baseman, drafted eighth overall in last year's amateur draft, made his big league debut Friday. His father was a Mets fan and wouldn't let him attend any games in the Bronx. He was 0 for 8 before tripling past a diving Judge in right for his first major league hit but was stranded when Fernando Cruz relieved Schmidt and struck out Zach Neto. Moore also threw out a runner at the plate from second base in the 11th. The Angels are the only team that has used just five starting pitchers this season. Kyle Hendricks picks up career win No. 100 as Angels beat the Mariners 5-4
Kyle Hendricks earned the 100th win of his career, Ryan Zeferjahn, Reid Detmers and Kenley Jansen combined for three innings of scoreless relief, and the Los Angeles Angels held on for a 5-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Friday night. Hendricks (3-6) gave up four runs and eight hits in six innings, striking out two and walking two. The 35-year-old right-hander escaped a jam in the fifth inning. With runners at second and third with two outs, Hendricks got Randy Arozarena to ground out. Zeferjahn retired the side in order in the seventh, Detmers struck out two of four batters in the eighth, and Jansen threw a 1-2-3 ninth for his 13th save. Right-hander Bryce Miller (2-5) gave up five runs and six hits in five innings for the Mariners, who have lost four straight. The Angels scored twice in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead. The Seattle center fielder teased Angels fans who thought the ball was gone by taking several steps on the warning track before flipping the ball from his glove to his throwing hand. Key stat Detmers, the converted starter who had a 10.05 ERA through 12 appearances this season, has allowed one earned run in 12 innings of his last 11 games, striking out 17 and walking seven in that span. Angels manufacture run in 10th inning to beat Red Sox, 4-3
BOSTON (AP) — Automatic runner Zach Neto scored on Taylor Ward's bases-loaded double play groundout to lift the Los Angeles Angels to a 4-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox in 10 innings on Tuesday night. Nolan Schanuel had two RBIs and Neto added two hits and an RBI to give the Angels consecutive wins for the first time since capping an eight-game win streak on May 23. Kenley Jansen (1-2) pitched a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the win a night after getting a save and Reid Detmers got his first save. Schanuel led off the 10th with a sacrifice bunt that was bobbled by reliever Zack Kelly (1-2), allowing Neto to advance to third. Mike Trout then walked to load the bases. Kelly went 3-0 to Ward before he grounded into the double play. But it allowed Neto to score to put the Angels in front. Ceddanne Rafaela had two RBIs for Boston. Jarren Duran also had an RBI. Los Angeles starter Yusei Kikuchi pitched five innings plus three batters, allowing three runs off eight hits with five walks. He also struck out five, including his 900th major league strikeout. Boston's Brayan Bello ended a five-game streak of not making it through at least five innings. He lasted six innings, allowing three runs off seven hits. Key moment With Boston trailing 3-1 in the sixth, Trevor Story led off with a walk. Rafaela then jumped on Kikuchi's 89 mph slider, driving it 426 feet over the Green Monster for his fifth homer of the season. It was Kikuchi's final hitter of the night. Travis d'Arnaud's tiebreaking homer in 8th leads Angels over Dodgers 6-4 for 3-game sweep
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Travis d'Arnaud broke an eighth-inning tie with his first home run of the season, and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Dodgers 6-4 on Sunday for their first three-game Freeway Series sweep since 2010. With the score 4-4, d'Arnaud homered off left-hander Anthony Banda (3-1) for his second RBI of the game. The Angels added a run in the ninth on singles by Zach Neto and Nolan Schanuel followed by Yoán Moncada's double-play grounder. Shaun Anderson (1-0) got his first Angels win, giving up a tying three-run homer in the seventh to Will Smith and then retiring the side in order in the eighth and ninth. He ended the game by getting Shohei Ohtani to swing over a changeup for strike three. Angels left-hander Yusei Kikuchi gave up one run and three hits and struck out seven in 5 2/3 innings before hurting his right ankle in a collision at first base with Tommy Edman.
