Nothing's first-ever smartphone, Phone (1), made its debut on the market three years ago. The device originally shipped with Android 12 right out of the box, but Nothing promised it will provide owners with three major OS upgrades. That means that Android 15 was the last major OS upgrade for Nothing Phone (1), something that hasn't changed even though most companies are now offering several years of OS updates for their phones. Although Nothing Phone (1) is no longer receiving OS upgrades, the UK brand offers customers who are still using the device the next best thing: a feature-packed update. Nothing OS v3.2 is now making its way to the original Phone, the company confirmed over the weekend. The update includes important new features and improvements that Nothing Phone (1) have been hopeful to get ever since they were debuted on Nothing's other phones. New Features : Introducing Privacy space: Swipe right in the app drawer for quick and easy access to your secure zone. You can now set a separate privacy password for both App Locker and Privacy space. Hotspot Manager: Easily manage devices connected to your hotspot. Other Improvements : Fixed issue with incorrect light strip display when playing music in Glyph Composer. Use the touch feedback toggle in Settings to disable the face unlock vibration for the lock screen. Updated to Android security patch for June. Fixed accessibility issues in Launcher, Gallery and other apps. General bug fixes and stability enhancements. After that date, customers will no longer be able to download or install Android updates, making their device more susceptible to cyber attacks. LG announced in 2021 that it was closing its smartphone division with the South Korean tech giant preparing to shut down for good at the end of this month. Its first Android phone was released more than 15 years ago - although LG's roots in mobile go back even further. LG once held the crown as the world's third-bestselling mobile brand. But rivals emerged including Oppo and Xiaomi, as well as long-established competitors such as Samsung. Despite the impending closure, the company continued to push out important Android updates to existing users. Bosses committed to do it for three years. But that time is now up with the last update due to come out on June 30, marking the very end for LG's mobile business. In a statement, LG said it would like to "extend our heartfelt gratitude towards our customers who have loved and supported LG Electronics mobile products". The company added: "After the termination date, you will no longer be able to use the software upgrade services. "If you wish to use the services, we strongly recommend upgrading your software before June 30, 2025. "Furthermore, as we will no longer provide application updates, you will not be able to download default applications deleted upon initialization." Time for an upgrade? Leak claims to reveal color options for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL
It's hard to believe that the Pixel 10 line will be released this year. For the first time, the phones will be powered by an application processor (AP) designed by Google from the ground up. The Tensor G5 will no longer be made up of bits and pieces from Samsung and its Exynos chipsets. For example, the Samsung 5G modems used on past Tensor chips will be replaced with a MediaTek modem. Instead of being manufactured by Samsung Foundry using its 4nm node like the Tensor G4 was, the G5 will be built by leading foundry TSMC using its third-generation 3nm process node (N3P). There are quite a few reasons why Pixel fans should upgrade to one of the new Pixel 10 models . If there is any great news about pricing for the upcoming Pixel 10 series, it would be the big price cut said to be coming to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold which is rumored to cost $1,599 and up down from the $1,799 and up price for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Honor 400 And Honor 400 Pro Will Receive 6 Years Of Android Updates
Honor 400 Pro Honor is all set to unveil its next mid-range phones tomorrow. Ahead of the launch, the company has promised six years of Android OS upgrades for its upcoming Honor 400 series. This means, both Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will receive Android OS updates through 2031. It's not typical for sub-$500 smartphones to be supported for up to six years, and Honor is changing that with its promise of offering solid software support for the upcoming Honor 400 series, which is expected to start below $500. The Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro will receive six years of Android OS and security updates, including Android 16 in 2025. However, the already available Honor 400 Lite isn't included in this schedule. Earlier this year, Honor also announced seven years of Android update support for its flagship, the Magic 7 Pro. According to the company's schedule, the Honor Magic 7 Pro, Magic V3, and the upcoming Honor 400 series are all set to receive the MagicOS version based on Android 16 in 2025. As of now, Android 16 Beta 3 is already available to install on the Magic 7 Pro. 'Building on its long-standing collaboration with Google, Honor is among the first to bring the latest Android experience to its users. This collaboration enables Honor to provide developers with quick access to the latest Android releases, allowing users to experience the most recent and secure Android features without delay,' said Honor in a press release. Honor's upcoming phone lineup is also the first smartphone series to integrate Google Cloud's Veo 2 capabilities to turn photos into five-second short videos. The company's website has already confirmed major specs. For instance, the Honor 400 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Honor 400 will house the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Interestingly, they feature the same processors as their predecessors, but the six-year update promise is a big step up from the previous three years of software support. The upcoming Honor 400 duo will offer a 6,000mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a 200MP primary camera, a slew of AI features, and more.
