99.4% candidates clear AP Education Common Entrance Test
An overall pass percentage of 99.42 has been registered in the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET)-2025, conducted for admissions into B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education) regular courses in the colleges of education across the State. Acharya Nagarjuna University, which conducted the entrance test on June 5, 2025, in a single session in 87 test centres on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), released the results on Friday (June 20). In a statement, convener of AP EDCET A.V.V.S. Swamy said out of the total 17,795 candidates who registered, 14,612 appeared for the test and 14,527 candidates qualified, recording a 99.42% pass. Sharing information on methodology-wise details of the candidates, Prof. Swamy said in mathematics, out of the total 4,165 candidates who wrote the exam, 4,160 qualified, recording 99.88 pass rate. In physical science, a total of 1,654 candidates appeared for the test and 1,651 qualified achieving 99.82 pass rate while in biological science, 3,631 candidates wrote the test and 3,602 qualified securing a pass percentage of 99.20. In social studies, 4,451 of the total 4,499 candidates who appeared for the entrance test qualified recording 98.93 pass rate and in English, the candidates achieved 100% pass with all the 663, who wrote the test, qualifying in it. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, APSCHE has released AP EdCET Answer Key 2025 on June 10, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test can download the provisional key through the official website of AP EdCET at Along with the preliminary key, the response sheets and master question papers have also been released. The last date to raise objection against the answer key is June 13, 2025. To download the answer key, candidates can follow the steps given below. 1. Visit the official website of AP EdCET at 2. Click on AP EdCET Answer Key 2025 link available on the home page. 3. A new page will open where candidates will have to click on the paper name. 4. The answer key will be displayed. 5. Check the answer key and download it. 6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need. The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of 150 total marks (i.e., 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences / Mathematics methodologies. AP EdCET 2025: Last day to apply without late fee today
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is closing the registration window today, May 14, for the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website to avoid additional charges. The AP EdCET 2025 is being conducted for admission into and Special Education courses in universities and affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26. The application fee is Rs 600 for general category candidates, Rs 500 for BC, SC, ST, and PwBD applicants. Late Registration with Additional Fee Date Late fee May 15 - May 19, 2025 Rs 1,000 May 20 - May 23, 2025 Rs 2,000 May 24 - May 26, 2025 Rs 4,000 May 27 - June 3, 2025 Rs 10,000 Candidates will be allowed to edit their submitted applications from May 24 to May 28, and hall tickets will be available from May 30. The AP EdCET exam is scheduled for June 5, 2025, between 2 pm and 4 pm.

Last date to apply for APEdCET-2025 without late fee is May 14, says Convenor
Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (APEdCET-2025) Convenor Prof. A.V.V.S. Swamy on Monday announced that the last date to apply for the exam without a late fee is May 14. The entrance exam, to be held on June 5 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., is jointly being conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University and the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions into two-year courses for the academic year 2025–26. The fee for the exam is fixed as ₹650 for general candidates, ₹500 for BCs and ₹450 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Candidates who miss the regular deadline can still apply with a late fee of ₹1,000 until May 19, ₹2,000 until May 24, and ₹4,000 till May 26. Applications will also be accepted from May 27 to June 3 with a late fee of ₹10,000. Prof. Swamy said the hall tickets can be downloaded starting May 30. He urged aspiring candidates to submit their applications promptly to avoid higher penalty charges and ensure timely preparation. The EdCET is a mandatory requirement for those seeking admission into colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
