Boy's electrocution: House owner & officials booked
Bengaluru: A day after a 10-year-old boy, who came into contact with a live wire, died in KR Puram, his mother filed a police complaint against the house owner and officials from KPTCL, Bescom, and BBMP for negligence. Anant, a resident of Muneshwara Block in Ayyappanagar, sustained severe injuries after a broom he tossed up in the air touched the wire on June 16. He was playing outside the house on the third floor of the residential building. He was shifted to the burns ward of Victoria Hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Friday. His mother, Tuladevi, stated that the third floor where they lived was an illegal construction. "For the greed of rent, house owner Balaraju illegally constructed additional floors. The high-tension wires passed just four feet away from the houses. Balaraju did not bother to take precautionary measures. Also, officials from KPTCL and Bescom, who should have taken precautionary steps to safeguard the public from these high-tension wires, failed in their duty. BBMP should have acted against the illegal floors," the complaint read. KR Pura police have booked the suspects under section 106 (Causing death by negligence) of BNS.

Nita Ambani is well known for her role as the matriarch of the Ambani family and her work in the business world. But recently, in a touching conversation, Nita Ambani spoke openly about her personal life, her marriage with Mukesh Ambani, her children, and the deep bond she shares with her family. Talking about her son Anant's much-talked-about wedding, Nita addressed the criticism that it was too lavish. She said that, like any parent, she only wanted the best for her child. 'Every parent wants to give their child the best they can,' she said simply. For her, the wedding was not just about show or money but it was a way to celebrate India's traditions and culture. It was a chance to honor the rich heritage of the country through music and rituals. Advertisement === A moment that touched her soul She shared that one part of the wedding stood out for her more than anything else. It was when her son Anant stood on stage and spoke with confidence. Nita said how Anant had faced health problems for years including his weight struggles and asthma and how he remained positive despite the difficulties. But seeing him stand tall and speak from the heart made her emotional. 'My son Anant has been fighting obesity from a very young age because of his asthma and when he went up on a stage as a confident groom, he told me, 'Mom, it's not what I am physically, it's what my heart is.' And I saw him holding his life partner's hand. I think that was the most touching feeling, as a mother.' Advertisement === For her, it was not just a proud moment as a mother but it was a reminder of the strength her son had shown over the years. Watching him take his vows, she felt full of love and pride, knowing how far he had come. Nita described Anant as deeply religious and spiritual. 'Anant is my youngest child, and he's very, very religious and deeply rooted in spirituality. He has fought obesity throughout his life and yet been so positive. And there he meets his life partner, Radhika. You just have to see them together; they are magic,' she said. Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani tied the knot on July 12 last year in Mumbai, as per Hindu rituals. The grand wedding ceremony was followed by a 'Shubh Aashirvaad' ceremony on July 13, which saw the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and distinguished religious leaders. Marriage that changed her life Nita described her marriage to Mukesh Ambani as a turning point in her life. She called it 'a blessing like no other.' She shared how Mukesh has always stood by her, not just as a husband but as a constant support through every phase of her journey. His belief in her and his quiet strength, she said, made all the difference. Pride in her children's unique paths Talking about her three children: Akash, Isha, and Anant, Nita's face lit up with pride. She said each of them had chosen their own direction in life and were following their passions with hard work and heart. Her eldest son Akash is now leading India's telecom growth through Jio. Isha has taken up major roles in the business world and continues to shine in everything she does. Anant, the youngest, is passionate about protecting the environment and is now focusing on green energy and wildlife conservation. Nita said that seeing her children grow and follow their dreams fills her with joy. 'This is their time now to lead, to grow, and to chase their dreams,' she said with a smile. A mother first Even with her many responsibilities, Nita made it clear that being a mother always comes first. She said that no matter how busy life gets, she always makes time for her children. Boy playing with broom comes in contact with high-voltage power line in Bengaluru, critical
1 2 3 Bengaluru: What began as a harmless game turned into a tragedy in KR Puram on Monday evening, leaving a 10-year-old boy battling for his life with severe burns. Anant, the son of a Nepalese couple working as domestic helpers, had just returned from school and was playing in the passage outside his home on the third floor of a four-storey building at Ayyappa Nagar, off Devasandra Main Road in Virgonagar. With no one else at home, he picked up a dust broom and began tossing it into the air in a carefree moment of play. But in a split second, the broom made contact with a high-voltage power line, just eight feet away from the building, far closer than the regulation permit. What followed was a loud explosion that shook the neighbourhood and sparked a fire that quickly spread through the building. "I heard a loud thud and thought it was a bomb blast," said a resident. "When we rushed to the spot, we saw smoke and flames. It was terrifying. " Unknown to those downstairs, the blast had severely injured Anant. In agony, he ran back into the house and tried to douse the flames on his body using water from a bathroom bucket. His cries for help soon alerted neighbours, who rushed up to find him severely injured and struggling to breathe. With no ambulance immediately available, locals placed the boy in an autorickshaw and rushed him first to the KR Puram govt hospital. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? IC Markets Mendaftar Undo Doctors referred him to Victoria Hospital's burns ward where he remains in critical condition. "It's heartening to see how the boy tried to save himself," a police officer said. "But his condition is extremely serious." The tragedy has sparked outrage, especially over the close proximity of the 220 kV Bescom line to the residential building. According to safety norms, high-tension wires should be at least five metres away from any structure, but this one hung barely eight feet away. Officials say the fire was caused by a short circuit following the broom's contact with the wire. Despite the severity of the incident, Anant's family has not filed a complaint yet. His mother Tulavor and uncle Dev told police that they are currently focused on the boy's survival. The fire's impact extended beyond Anant's home. The building, which houses two hotels and a petty shop on the ground floor, and residential units on the upper floors, suffered significant damage. Dalit Chaluvali Nagesh from Samatha Sainik Dal (SSD) said: "I was close to the building when the blast happened. The portion of the building was under fire. The impact was such that the wirings, household articles of all the houses in the building, two hotels and a petty shop on the ground floor have been gutted. The refrigerators and TV in a few houses were also burnt due to short circuits. We are planning to protest against the authorities Wednesday. " Meanwhile, Bescom authorities have communicated to police that there was no negligence from their side.

He is the hairstylist of Ambanis, Virat Kohli and Ranbir Kapoor. Who is Aalim Hakim, and how much does he charge for each haircut session?
When it comes to Bollywood's most iconic hair transformations and A-list grooming, there's one name that reigns supreme—Aalim Hakim. The man behind the signature looks of Virat Kohli , Ranbir Kapoor, Allu Arjun, and even the Ambanis, Aalim isn't just a hairstylist; he's a full-blown brand. From crafting rugged onscreen avatars like Ranbir's look in Animal to managing sleek wedding styles for the Ambani family, Hakim has styled it all with precision, flair, and a price tag to match. In a recent chat with Hindi Rush, Aalim revealed that he styled Anant and Akash Ambani, as well as Anand Piramal, during Anant's pre-wedding festivities. Keeping things elegant yet modern, he opted for a neatly tied man bun with soft waves for Anant—a decision that soon became the wedding's signature hair look. 'Everyone liked it,' he said, explaining how the bun was maintained throughout all events, contrasting drastically from Anant's usual hairstyle. Aalim Hakim also shared that Ranbir Kapoor's character in Animal required multiple distinct looks to reflect different phases of his journey. Since the film shows Ranbir with long hair during his youth and again after returning from America, Aalim ensured each hairstyle had a unique identity. Once he learned the character admired Michael Jackson, inspiration struck. Drawing from MJ's iconic style—leather jackets, white tees, and signature curls—Aalim crafted a look that fused those elements with a modern man bun, giving Ranbir a bold and memorable on-screen transformation. But what does it cost to sit in Aalim Hakim's chair? He shared in an interview that the base price starts at Rs 1 lakh per haircut session. In fact, it is the 'minimum' he charges for everyone, be it a celebrity or a common man. And it's not just about the cut—it's the consultation, the expertise, and the results. He clarified that proper paperwork, including GST invoices, is always part of professional deals. He also admitted that he doesn't charge close friends; his professional gigs are all about business.
