Keysight Enables AMD to Showcase Electrical PCI Express ® Compliance up to 64 GT/s

SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) announced that it helped AMD accelerate the testing of electrical compliance for PCI Express ® (PCIe) specification for pre-production AMD server CPUs. By providing early access to beta software, Keysight enabled AMD to develop and test a PCI Express technology-capable server motherboard operating at up to 64 GT/s. The server was shown for the first time at the PCI-SIG Developer's Conference June 11-12 in Santa Clara, Calif. PCIe 6.0 is the latest version of the high-speed interface that connects components inside servers and computers. With speeds of up to 256 GB/s using 16 lanes, PCIe 6.0 is designed to enable faster data transfer, lower latency, and better energy efficiency. These improvements make it a key enabler for the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies supporting the development of more advanced and efficient AI applications. The performance of PCIe 6.0 over PCIe 5.0 represents a significant improvement and a critical requirement for servers to easily interface with accelerator modules used in AI applications, as well as next-generation deployments of 802.3dj Ethernet communications. Keysight provided AMD with early access to its CEM test tools, including Keysight's 64 GBaud High Performance BERT and Keysight's 59 GHz UXR-Series Oscilloscope and pre-compliance software. These tools enabled AMD to characterize, tune, and validate its server platform using pre-release beta code, helping ensure its hardware met performance expectations before industry-wide test tools were officially released. Amit Goel, Corporate Vice President, Server Engineering, AMD, said: 'By using Keysight's PCIe compliance test platform and early access software, AMD has been able to confirm and establish a stable demonstration of electrical compliance up to 64 GT/s. This early validation confirms market readiness for the signal-integrity health and electrical robustness of our forthcoming AMD server CPUs and reinforces our commitment to delivering reliable, high-speed I/O for next-generation platforms.' Dr. Joachim Peerlings, Vice President and General Manager, Keysight Network and Data Center Solutions, said: 'The progress the industry is making in bringing PCI Express 6.0 technology to market is remarkable. Our close collaboration with AMD has enabled another milestone in high-speed I/O, which is critical to supporting artificial intelligence and networking applications. By providing early access to our PCIe CEM test tools and measurement solutions, we helped AMD validate and optimize its platform, enabling AMD to deliver PCIe solutions capable of 64 GT/s to market faster and drive the next wave of AI and networking innovation.' Keysight and AMD demonstrated their PCIe test setup live at the PCI-SIG Developers Conference 2025, June 11–12, at the Santa Clara Convention Center. PCIe ® and PCI Express ® are US registered trademarks and/or service marks of PCI-SIG. AMD is a trademark of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. NEW DELHI: A 44-year-old man was arrested for allegedly cheating a woman of Rs 29 lakh on the pretext of an online investment scheme, police said on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Chothmal Saini, revealed that he was running a school at a loss since the Covid period and provided bank accounts to fraudsters on a commission basis. According to the complaint, the woman was introduced to a part-time online job through a social media platform. Initially, she deposited money into multiple bank accounts given by the fraudsters. Equivalent amounts were shown as credited on a fake trading website, which encouraged her to continue investing. She invested Rs 29 lakh, and her 'profits' grew to crores. However, when she tried to withdraw the earnings, she was denied and realised she had been duped. 'Raids were conducted in Sikar and Jaipur. One mobile phone used by the fraudster was recovered,' said DCP (Southwest) Amit Goel, adding that other accused have been identified and efforts are underway to arrest them.
