Donald Trump Rages At Reporter Who Refuses To Stick To ‘Positive' Questions
President Donald Trump on Wednesday onceagainripped a reporter to their face, this time after they dared to bring into question the idea that his supporters are completely and utterly behind every move he makes. Trump was taking questions during the unveiling of new flag poles outside the White House when CNN White House correspondent Alayna Treene asked him about the split in MAGA ranks over his increasingly hawkish backing of Israel in its war with Iran. Treene began by noting, 'Mr. President, some of your supporters are splitting on the U.S. response to…,' before Trump cut in and deployed his usual tactic of demanding to know, 'Who are you with?' When Treene said CNN, Trump scoffed, called the network 'fake news' and claimed that, 'Fortunately nobody watches.' Treene tried to repeat the question but Trump again interrupted and asked: 'Is anybody watching CNN nowadays? I haven't seen it in a long time.' Treene pressed: 'So some of your supporters are wary of the U.S. getting involved in another foreign war, and some believe that we should support it.' Trump claimed he 'hadn't seen that' and then went on a diatribe, saying: 'Do you ever ask a positive question at CNN? My supporters are more in love with me today, and I'm in love with them, more than they were even at election time.' Trump shuts down reporter who asked whether he'll nuke Iran
By President Donald Trump hilariously shut down a reporter who asked a pointed question about a potential US strike on Iran - before mocking her right outside of the White House . The reporter, CNN 's Alayna Treene, asked Trump 'whether you are moving closer, or whether you believe the US is moving closer, to striking Iranian nuclear facilities.' 'Well, obviously I can't say that, right? You don't seriously think I am going to answer that question?' he said with a smirk. The president proceeded to laugh it off before offering up an impression of the reporter's question. "'Will you strike the Iranian nuclear component and what time, exactly, sir? Sir, would you strike it?'" Trump said. '"Would you please inform us so we can be there and watch?"' 'I mean, you don't even know if I may do it. I may do it. I may not do it,' he said of entering the conflict to side with Israel. 'Nobody knows what I'm going to do.' Treene, a White House reporter who made the Forbes 30 Under 30 media list in 2021, then took to both X and Instagram to talk up the exchange. 'Nothing's finished until it's finished.' As he spoke, missiles launched from Iran continued to target Israel, where the U.S. is currently coordinating planes and cruise ships to evacuate American citizen. Trump engaged in his remarks at a press conference meant to ring in the installation of two new White House flagpoles, where he clashed with Treene at another point as well. He went on to wax poetic about his supporter before bringing up how he 'won all seven swing states' over Kamala Harris. 'Report that,' he told Treene, who joined CNN in January 2023.

Treene, 30, had also asked Trump if was 'too late' to make a deal with the Iranians. 'It's very late. You know? It's very late to be talking,' Trump said. Trump administration is set to cancel federal contracts with Harvard worth some US$100 million
Harvard University is seen in 2020 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. (via CNN Newsource) The Trump administration is poised to direct federal agencies to cancel their contracts – totalling about US$100 million – with Harvard University, two senior Trump administration officials told CNN, the latest barb against the school as it refuses to bend to the White House's weekslong barrage of policy demands rooted in political ideology. The directive will be delivered Tuesday in a letter and also will order government agencies to look for new vendors to which they can redirect the federal funds, the officials said. The General Services Administration 'will send a letter to federal agencies today asking them to identify any contracts with Harvard, and whether they can be canceled or redirected elsewhere,' one senior Trump administration official told CNN. The New York Times first reported on the planned cuts. The nation's oldest and wealthiest university sued the Trump administration last month over its freeze of $2.2 billion in federal grants and contracts. The government since then has halted another $450 million to Harvard and canceled its ability to enroll foreign students, a move that's subject to a status conference Tuesday after a federal judge put it on hold. Trump further has threatened to cut off $3 billion more in Harvard's federal grant funding and pull its tax-exempt status. This is a developing story and will be updated. By Alayna Treene, CNN
