Samyuktha gets on board Tabu-Vijay Sethupathi film with Puri Jagannadh
Puri Jagannadh's upcoming project garnered a lot of attention in the last couple of months, with its unique lead casting of Tabu and Vijay Sethupathi. Now Samyuktha has onboarded the film. The makers shared the casting update by releaasing a picture where Samyuktha can be seen with the film's producers Puri and Charmme Kaur, who are bankrolling this project under Puri Connects banner. Samyuktha has many other Telugu projects in the pipeline, like Akhanda 2, Nari Nari Naduma Murari and Swayambhu. She was last seen in the Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer Devil: The British Secret Agent.

Actress Samyuktha has officially joined the cast as the female lead. Actress excited to join star-studded cast According to a report by Telugu Cinema, Samyuktha is said to be quite excited about her role in the upcoming film. Sources close to the production reveal that the actress is impressed with the story and her character arc, and is eager to dive into shoot mode as the team prepares to go on floors. Samyuktha has been part of large-scale projects which include 'Akhanda 2' and 'Swayambhu'. The movie's possible titles The movie is currently being named '#PuriSethupathi' and it's yet to be officially titled. There are some names which are being considered for the film, they include 'Bhavati Bhiksham Dehi' and 'Beggar'. With the given rumoured title to be suggested, there is speculation that Vijay Sethupathi might be playing the role of a beggar in this gritty, potentially intense drama. The cast also includes some of the biggest names from the film fraternity. Bollywood's highly rated actress Tabu is said to be playing a key role in the film and she is also joined by Kannada actor Duniya Vijay Kumar. Speaking of the film's production status, the makers recently wrapped up a detailed location recce across Hyderabad and Chennai. After locking in multiple shoot locations, the crew is now gearing up to begin principal photography. The regular shoot is expected to commence in the last week of June.

Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna turned 65 on 10 June. His birthday was recently celebrated, complete with a three-tiered cake and a grand celebration. A video of the actor flipping a knife in his trademark style before cutting the cake now has the internet tickled. As the people next to him urge him to cut the cake, he instead begins flipping the knife multiple times. At one point, one of the people standing next to him even leans back as the knife comes close to them. His security guard also seems to look around, wondering what to do. A post shared by Rollmediaofficial (@rollmediaofficial) Balakrishna's antics made people on the internet crack up, with many cracking jokes about him flipping knives. While some chalked it down to 'over acting over attitude' or 'weird behaviour', others thought the video was hilarious.
