Aston Martin Valkyrie LM unveiled globally. Rare hypercar to be limited to just 10 units
The newly built Aston Martin Valkyrie LM is one of the rarest cars in the world. Check Offers Aston Martin has unveiled the Valkyrie LM, a rare, non-homologated, track-focused version of its Valkyrie hypercar. The Aston Martin Valkyrie LM is built to honour the brand's return to the top tier of endurance racing and its bid for outright victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This new hypercar is strictly limited to just 10 units worldwide and promises an experience that closely mirrors the demands and performance of top-class FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and IMSA race cars. The Valkyrie LM draws direct lineage from the Valkyrie Hypercar competing at Le Mans in 2025, marking Aston Martin's most serious effort at the iconic race since its 1959 overall win with the DBR1. Powered by a Cosworth-built 6.5-litre, naturally aspirated V12, the LM produces 697 bhp, the same as its racing sibling, and revs past 10,000 rpm, delivering an exhilarating, track-oriented experience. Aston Martin Valkyrie LM: Specifications The car sheds racing-specific hardware such as FIA electronics and ballast but retains the core racing DNA, including a seven-speed sequential gearbox, pushrod suspension with torsion bars and bespoke Pirelli track tyres. While engineered to race, the Valkyrie LM is tuned for customer accessibility. Aston Martin has stripped out complex competition systems like closed-loop torque control and instead introduced open-loop torque delivery for a more intuitive and rewarding drive. The cockpit is fully race-spec, complete with carbon-fibre bucket seats, six-point FIA harness, fire suppression, and an F1-style steering wheel with integrated display. Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark called the Valkyrie LM 'an exquisite opportunity" for a rare group of owners to experience what only professional racing drivers usually can. Aston Martin reveals track-day version of Valkyrie Le Mans Hypercar
Aston Martin is billing a new track-day version of its Valkyrie Le Mans Hypercar as near-identical to the race car. The Aston Martin Valkyrie LM Hypercar boasts the same maximum power output of 520kW (697bhp) from its 6.5-litre V12 as the World Endurance Championship and IMSA Sportscar Championship contender. Advertisement The differences between the two cars represent, said Aston head of endurance motorsport Adam Carter, 'only a few minor deviations to ensure it is a non-homologated variant and is accessible for customers to experience and enjoy'. 'Valkyrie LM represents the most authentic Hypercar track experience that is now available,' he continued. Aston CEO Adrian Hallmark said: 'With Valkyrie LM, there has never been an opportunity to get closer to the raw dynamic forces and state-of-the-art technology deployed by the Hypercar currently competing in WEC and IMSA. Advertisement 'Valkyrie LM is an exquisite opportunity to be part of the most exclusive Aston Martin owners' club in the world, a group who can immerse themselves in the purest and most comparable endurance driving experience, one that would otherwise only be available to our works drivers operating at the very limit of sportscar racing's highest echelon.' The ownership experience Aston Martin Valkyrie track day car Aston Martin Valkyrie track day car Aston Martin Aston Martin Production of the Valkyrie LM will be limited to 10 cars, whose owners will be able to take part in a special programme during Aston's so-called 'Unleashed' track experience events. Deliveries of the first Valkyrie LMs will start in the middle of 2026 ahead of two track days at Aston Unleashed' events later in the year. Aston has put the price of the Valkyrie LM at 'circa $5 million Usd. plus taxes'. Advertisement Aston Martin will look after the cars and offer a driver development programme tailored, it explained, 'to support harness and optimise their driving ability and provide them with the ultimate top-flight motorsport experience'. The British manufacturer is taking a leaf out of Ferrari's book after the launch of the Modificata version of its two-time Le Mans-winning 499P LMH. Ferrari is understood to have sold well in excess of 20 Modificatas, which take part in its Clienti events, since its launch at the end of 2023. The Ferrari, however, is different in key areas to the LMH – one of these a push-to-pass power boost from its hybrid system, which increases peak power to 640kW or 860bhp. Plans to race the Valkyrie in the WEC were announced in 2019 before being put on hold early the following year, but development of the still-born LMH fed into the AMR Pro track day car. This car was the starting point for the development of the LMH that entered competition this year. To read more articles visit our website.

Aston Martin introduces Apple CarPlay Ultra
Aston Martin has become the first car brand in the world to offer Apple's new CarPlay Ultra screen-mirroring software. Looking for a new or used Aston Martin? Find it here with CARmag! CarPlay Ultra is Apple's most advanced in-car software yet. It builds on the existing system by expanding beyond the central infotainment screen to include the digital instrument cluster. Drivers can now view navigation, media and other real-time information across multiple displays, while also customising the look with various layouts, themes and wallpapers. The feature is available as standard on all new Aston Martin models in the United States and Canada, with availability in other global markets to follow within the next 12 months. Existing vehicles with the brand's new infotainment system will be eligible for a software update in the coming weeks. Unlike the older version of Apple CarPlay, Ultra offers much deeper integration with the vehicle. Drivers can adjust climate settings, change radio stations and access key driving information directly through the system, either using the touchscreen, traditional buttons, or voice commands via Siri. iPhone widgets can also be added to the interface. Related: New Valhalla Readies as Aston Martin's Entry into Hypercar Paradise To make this possible, Aston Martin worked closely with Apple to ensure the user experience works seamlessly. Unlike the previous setups that were sourced from third parties, Aston Martin's new system was developed entirely in-house and features a high-resolution, 10.25-inch display with Pure Black touchscreen technology supporting both multi-finger gesture control and physical switches for key functions like drive mode selection and ventilation. Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark says this rollout highlights the company's commitment to bringing world-class technology to its customers: 'The integration of CarPlay Ultra is a clear example of our dedication to collaborating with the best companies to offer unique in-vehicle capabilities.' To use CarPlay Ultra, drivers need an iPhone 12, or newer device, running iOS 18.5.4 or later. While more automakers are expected to introduce the system soon, Aston Martin is the first to bring it to the road. Click here and browse thousands of new and used vehicles here with CARmag!
