A Star-Filled Guide To Celebrity Zodiac Signs And What They Mean
When Tali Edut, one half of The AstroTwins, was first learning about astrology, she looked to the stars—Hollywood's stars. 'That's kind of what got me,' she explains. 'I would start to see the link between celebrities,' realizing how different groups fell under each zodiac. Now, as an astrology expert, Edut is well-versed in the signs of all your favorite celebs. Which one comes to mind as the celebrity who truly exemplifies their sign? Edut doesn't hesitate: It's the ultimate Libra, Kim Kardashian. 'Every sign is connected to a body part, and Libra rules the butt and lower back,' she says. 'She broke the internet because of her ass. They're also the sign of beauty and harmony and order. She's front row at every fashion week but was also a closet organizer before she became reality-star famous.' As for which celebs represent all the other signs, Edut breaks down each one, below. When it comes to explaining celebrity astrology, Edut says she always uses Aries—'the most obvious divas out there'—as the prime example. Some of those legends include superstars like Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Marvin Gaye, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Pharrell—essentially any singer who's 'most likely to have an extended stint in Vegas,' Edut adds. 'They just have that cardinal fire sign, so they're going to blaze brightly and hold their own on the stage.' For Edut there's one iconic Taurus: Adele. 'Taurus rules the throat,' she says. 'They're very sensual. They're the slow jammers, and [Adele] has written every slow jam anthem out there.' Geminis exhibit a fluid, transitional energy, giving us celebrities like Prince, who, instead of a name, eventually started going by a 'Love Symbol.' Cancers are our watery, sensitive celebs, including people like Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Khloé Kardashian. Edut also adds that Cancers are ruled by the moon, meaning they can get moody and have a hard time letting things go. Another famous Cancer? Margot Robbie. '[Cancers] are kind of the ultra femmes, and of course, she's the Barbie of our time,' she says. It's no surprise that a bunch of big-name celebs are Leos, the zodiac sign that's known for being confident, driven, and cool with being the center of attention. Just a short list includes Kylie Jenner, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, and Meghan Markle. 'They kind of all court controversy but play innocent at the same time,' Edut says. 'They're sweet but feisty.' Virgos—celebs like Beyoncé and Zendaya—are known for being grounded and hard workers, but Edut says, they can also have an amazing sense of rhythm and be great dancers. 'Michael Jackson was a Virgo. Pink is a Virgo, who's amazing with her acrobatics on stage.' Libras are a bit tricky, Edut says, explaining that they can be both romantic and spicy sometimes. (She notes that people like Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Gwen Stefani are all Libras.) So what unifies them all? 'I just think they're all so good-looking, like Bella Hadid. They're the judges and critics too. They can be very: This is the way it is, like Gwyneth Paltrow and her Goop edict. They're very beauty-focused, very much about looking good, being styled up.' Scorpios are our sly, sexy celebs, i.e. the Ryan Goslings and Penn Badgleys of the world. 'They're like definitely the sex symbol types,' Edut says. 'And mysterious.' Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Willow Smith, Winona Ryder, Matthew McConaughey, and Kendall Jenner are all Scorpios. 'They're kind of edgy, punk rock, doing it their way. Ryan Gosling is super private. You don't know anything really about Scorpios. They share selectively.' When it comes to Sagittarius celebs, you're going to find a lot of pop stars, Edut says, including Miley Cyrus,Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift. '[They're] everybody's best friend in a way. They have that larger-than-life personality. They're rebels, but also good girls. Sagittarians are known for being generous, ruled by Jupiter, the planet of generosity—I heard [Taylor Swift] gave [people] who worked on her Eras tour a $100,000 bonus.' They've also 'got to tell it like it is,' Edut says, pointing out that Sagittarians are often known for their outspokenness. One of the most well-known Capricorns is, of course, Michelle Obama, a 'strong woman in charge,' Edut says. 'Also it's an earth sign, meaning Capricorns are very devoted to fostering growth. Obama, for instance, did so much with the garden and for kids. They're just women of steel.' Another celeb who represents Capricorns' 'iconic energy'? Edut points to Kate Middleton. And good news for any Capricorns out there: Edut says they age in reverse and a lot have an 'iconic stage' when they're older (Dolly Parton, Betty White, Diane Keaton—all Capricorns). They can also be the best at what they do (LeBron James, John Legend). 'They are just here to be weird and not give a fuck,' Edut says of Aquarians, pointing to singers Alicia Keys and Harry Styles. She adds that they can also have that goofy, girl-next-door energy, like actor Jennifer Aniston. Our Pisces celebs are full of emotions and feelings. See: Rihanna, Drew Barrymore, Millie Bobby Brown. 'Sometimes it almost feels like they're getting the short end of the stick,' Edut says. They can also be a sign of sacrifice, she adds, and sometimes champion a cause, like Simone Biles standing up for mental health. 'I worried for her physical safety but the online world put her in danger'
Adele Zeynep Walton's sister, Aimee, was one of 88 alleged deaths caused by Canadian national poison parcels. In her new book Logging Off, Walton calls for greater online safety to protect others The online world is no longer a digital 'other' to our 'real life' world, when so much of our lives are spent engaging with technology, from ordering our groceries online to messaging friends. To think of scrolling away on your phone as an innocuous activity - as something to mindlessly be doing for nothing more than to pass the time - is to seriously misunderstand the harm technology is causing us. Adele Zeynep Walton 's Logging Off: The Human Cost of our Digital World takes a family tragedy - the death of her sister, Aimee - as a result of mental ill-health compounded by online harms and weaves together a compelling case for greater online safety controls. The book is a landmark moment, one which makes us decide whether we, as a society, are content with the destruction the digital world is causing. The link that online harms have on the 'real-world' is clear. It's a burgeoning issue, not just for those vulnerable, but to us all. 'It's a battle we all have stakes in,' Adele writes in Logging Off. But this is not a book that tells us to remain offline, it's a manifesto for safer controls on the internet. Adele and I met in June to discuss Logging Off, and the irony is not lost on me that it is through the digital world - a video-call - that we have this conversation. We begin with the person at the heart of this book, Adele's sister Aimee and her passing. Aimee was a creative soul who loved music and art. She adored Pharrell Williams, and even performed on stage with him. But during the pandemic, Aimee's mental health deteriorated. She was diagnosed with OCD, depression, and anxiety, which she struggled to come to terms with. In a spontaneous act, she applied to a university through clearing and got a place to study. 'She had requested a quiet accommodation [from the university] because as part of her OCD she was really sensitive to sound," Adele tells me. "She was in halls, which are bad for noise.' But Aimee dropped out of the course, as 'it was partying all night, real extreme noise and just it was really, really bad. She couldn't deal with it.' When she returned to the family home in Southampton, her condition deteriorated into a crisis, which resulted in her being hospitalised for her own safety. Adele tells me that Aimee dropping out of university 'sent her into a spiral of feeling really confused about what she was meant to do next in her life.' Adele adds, 'she just felt really lost.' 'We didn't think the online world would put her in danger' Her family were concerned about Aimee's wellbeing as 'she was leaving the house and not telling us who she was seeing or where she was going,' Adele says. 'We were just primarily so worried about her physical safety. And again, we didn't think that the online world would be the thing that put her most in danger.' As it would transpire after her death, Aimee, in the months before she passed away, had been visiting a pro-suicide forum, a site in which strangers talk to other people about taking their own lives. Through this site, she procured a poison which she used to take her own life. Aimee is believed to be one of 88 people in the UK to have received this chemical from Canadian-national Kenneth Law, who is the subject of an on-going investigation by the National Crime Agency for these deaths. The forum, which The Mirror have taken a decision not to name, was where Aimee made contact with a man who flew into the UK from the US. This person spent 11 days with her in a hotel in Slough, Berkshire, before she died in 2022. 'His presence made our pain tenfold' While the man was arrested on suspicion of assisting suicide, he was later released and no further action was taken. In Logging Off, Adele details that 'his presence made our pain tenfold. How could a total stranger be the last person to see her, speak to her, touch her?' This website is now the subject of an Ofcom investigation, under the new powers of the Online Safety Act. For Adele, Ofcom's investigation into the suicide forum was come 'far too late.' She says: 'A forum that encourages, instructs and provides the means to people to end their lives assisting suicide is illegal offline. If I had put a billboard up in the street saying: Contact me if you want this substance. That would immediately be removed and I would be arrested. But online, we're allowing it to happen every single day on an unregulated scale.' The Online Safety Act was passed into law in August 2024, but Adele says that she is yet to see a change in the digital world. The Act, she tells me, has resulted in 'no change in my personal ecosystem online in terms of less harmful content being available, less extreme content being available.' 'Ofcom's investigation is far too late' She adds: 'I would love to see this forum banned and not being able to be accessed to people in the UK because it poses a public health risk.' But at time of writing, this is not the case, the forum is still active, despite the on-going OFCOM investigation. A spokesperson for OFCOM said: 'We are currently gathering and analysing evidence to determine whether a contravention has occurred… Where we identify compliance failures, we can require platforms to take specific steps to come into compliance.' They add that in the 'most serious cases' they can 'require Internet Service Providers to block access to a site in the UK.' To say that a book is necessary or important is to feel as if the words are dripping in over-exaggeration, but this is not the case with Logging Off. There is no exaggeration here: this is one of the most important books I've read. The harms of the online world affects everyone - whether it's acknowledged or realised or not. This is not a problem that will cease to harm in its own time. Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. We'd love to hear from you!

Lucky ticket-holder lands the biggest-ever EuroMillions jackpot of £208million - and will be worth more than Adele, Anthony Joshua or Dua Lipa
A EuroMillions ticket-holder is now richer than Adele and can afford to buy the footballer Neymar after bagging £208million in the latest draw. The anonymous player had the luck of the Irish on their side as they got hold of the winning numbers in the Republic, claiming the largest prize in the history of the game. It marked the first time the EuroMillions jackpot had reached its cap of €250million (£208million) and been won outright. Irish National Lottery rules mean jackpot winners can choose to remain anonymous and so the winner is yet to come forward. But the staggering scale of the life-changing amount of money can be revealed - as it gives them a higher net worth than Adele, Anthony Joshua and Dua Lipa. Ms Lipa, 29, is worth £115million while Mr Joshua, 35, comes in at £195million. Meanwhile, Tottenham-born Adele, 37, is worth £195million. Among the other celebrities to have their wealth dwarfed by that of the Ireland ticket-holder are Daniel Radcliffe (£100million), Harry Kane (£75million) and Sir Andy Murray (£110million). Though, the winner just falls short of beating singer Harry Styles whose wealth amounts to £225million - an increase of around £50million from last year. With their winnings, the anonymous ticket-holder is also potentially in a position to purchase the Brazilian footballer Neymar - who was sold from Barcelona to Paris-Saint Germain for €222 million (£200 million) in August 2017. One of the priciest homes in the world - which was previously offered at $200 million, in the Caribbean - could also belong to them. The extravagant house, located on the exclusive island of Mustique in the West Indies, includes nine separate buildings located on a sprawling 17-acre estate. Offering panoramic views of the Caribbean coastline, the property is the priciest in the region's history, and its hefty price tag buys some of the most luxurious amenities available anywhere in the world. Or if they fancy something a bit more off-field, the winner has the option of escaping to an exclusive Florida island to go and live next to Jeff Bazos - for the same amount of money. Last night's winning numbers were: 13, 22, 23, 44, 49, and the Lucky Stars were 03 and 05. The gain follows several consecutive rollovers, which caused excitement to build across Europe. Tuesday night's draw was the fifth since the jackpot hit its maximum limit – triggering a 'must-be-won' event. If no player had matched all seven numbers, the full prize would have rolled down to the next winning tier – but the Ireland ticket-holder struck gold just in time. Meanwhile, in the UK, one player has also become a millionaire after winning the Millionaire Maker draw. The winning code was XPCD66044. Each EuroMillions ticket bought in the UK automatically includes entry into the Millionaire Maker raffle, which guarantees at least one UK-based winner of £1million in every draw. Meanwhile, Tuesday's National Lottery Thunderball numbers were: 02, 06, 12, 17, 39 and the Thunderball was 07. No one claimed the £500,000 top prize, but two players matched five numbers to win £5,000 each. In total, 106,671 people won prizes in the Thunderball draw, sharing a combined prize pot of £586,787. EuroMillions tickets purchased in the UK must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date. That means tickets bought for the June 17 draw are valid until Sunday, December 14, 2025. Lottery organisers have urged players to check their tickets carefully, as thousands of smaller prizes remain unclaimed. The latest jackpot win caps off a remarkable month for EuroMillions players in the UK. This historic Irish win surpasses the previous EuroMillions record of £195million, which was won by a UK ticket-holder in July 2022. The National Lottery is expected to release further details about the Irish winner in the coming days. An anonymous UK ticket holder won the existing record jackpot of £195million on July 19 2022, while just two months earlier, Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, won £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on May 10 2022. The UK's third biggest win came after an anonymous ticket-holder scooped the £177million jackpot in the draw on November 26 last year, while the biggest this year was £83million in January. The latest prospects come after a son found his mother's winning EuroMillions lottery ticket tucked away with a heartbreaking message just days after her death in April. Liam Carter, 34, originally from Hampshire but now living in Aberdeen, was sorting through his mother Anne's possessions after she died aged 67 when he found the ticket. Mr Carter discovered a folded envelope inside her kitchen drawer, where Anne usually kept her tickets. She had written on the outside of the envelope: 'Sat draw - don't forget!' Mr Carter said: 'I nearly ignored it, but something told me to check. I scanned it using the National Lottery app, and it said it was a winning ticket — but I'd have to call the lottery line.' He phoned the line and was told his mother, who played the lottery every week, had matched five of the numbers from the draw and had only missed the missing stars - meaning she had won a payout of £18,403. BRITAIN'S BIGGEST LOTTERY WINNERS An unknown UK ticket-holder was handed the country's record for a EuroMillions jackpot of £195million on July 19 2022. That was even more than the prize landed by Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, when they scooped a then-peak £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the National Lottery draw on May 10 that same year. Mr Thwaite, a communications sales engineer, told how his wife who ran a hairdressing salon was asleep when he noticed the winning numbers on the National Lottery app - and he opted not to wake her while browsing for potential new homes. And last December it was revealed a British participant had become the country's third biggest National Lottery winner of all time after hitting a jackpot worth £177million. The single ticket-holder, who chose to stay anonymous, came forward to claim the EuroMillions jackpot after the draw on Tuesday November 26. Among the big winners who did agree to go public with their good fortune were Colin and Chris Weir, from Ayrshire, who were handed £161million in 2011. Colin died aged 71 eight years later after getting through just half of his jackpot, with most of it having been shared between family, friends, and charities. The EuroMillions draw is a biweekly lottery in which members of the public in the UK and eight other European countries participate - with draws held on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
