This weekend, the model competed in a Las Vegas horse cutting competition; a skill which involves the rider cutting off a cow from its herd and keeping it from returning for two and a half minutes. Her outfit, both practical for the sport, yet in keeping with her now well-known rodeo style, included a black and white flannel button-up tucked into classic blue flared jeans, and a silver buckled brown belt to tie it all in. Supermodel Bella Hadid has long been involved in the equestrian world (she and sister Gigi have ridden horses since they were little). But since dating her cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos, Bella's love for all things rodeo has only intensified. These days, you can often find the couple competing in various rodeo events. This week, for instance, Hadid was seen riding her trustee horse Whippish in a Las Vegas arena, while Banuelos cheered her on from the sidelines. Naturally, in keeping with her well-documented love of rodeo style, Hadid sported the perfect look. Of course, her thematic ensemble served a practical purpose. The model wore a pair of light brown suede chaps with fringe detailing—a must-wear garment to protect the legs while riding. Her black button-up shirt and jeans were styled in the classic rodeo style, and punctuated with a brimmed hat for some flair. Bella looked at home on her horse in a black-and-white checked shirt, beige chaps over jeans, and a white cowboy hat. It's unclear how long Bella and Adan have been dating. They were first spotted together in October 2023, walking through the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Bella, who was trained in equestrian skills during her youth, went public with Adan on Valentine's Day in 2024, sharing images of him and calling him: 'My Valentine.' She began training in cutting alongside Adan. Cutting is a western-style equestrian competition in which a horse and rider work together before a judge or panel of judges to demonstrate the horse's athleticism and ability to handle cattle. She was a very good student and has since won several competitions. Banuelos praised her after she received a major honor in the cutting world: she was crowned the National Cutting Horse Association's (NCHA) 2024 Limited Age Event (LAE) Rookie of the Year. In April, Bella revealed she would be taking a step back from modeling after moving to Texas with her 'partner'. 'For the first time now, I'm not putting on a fake face. If I don't feel good, I won't go. If I don't feel good, I take time for myself,' she told Allure. 'And I've never had the opportunity to do that or say that before,' she continued.
