AFL 2025; Adam Treloar to return for Western Bulldogs

A week after taking down GWS on the road, the Western Bulldogs could get four guns, including Adam Treloar, back this weekend. Treloar hasn't yet played in 2025 due to a calf injury, nor has Nick Coffield and both are, pending they get through training as expected, set to line up for their first competitive hit-outs of the year. 'In some great news, Adam has built some great continuity in his training across the last few months after suffering an injury-interrupted preparation to the season,' Western Bulldogs head of sports medicine Chris Bell said. 'For the last three weeks, he has trained fully and completed sessions that replicate match demands. 'He is chomping at the bit to pull the jumper on again, so if he gets through training like we expect, he will return to availability. 'Nick has progressed well following his hamstring injury a few weeks ago. He has integrated back into full training and completed a game-like session on the weekend. 'He will fully train again this week, and if everything goes to plan, Nick will be putting his hand up for selection.' Lachie McNeil is also on track to return, while Luke Kennedy is progressing through the concussion protocols well. Meanwhile, Richmond medical staff still can't put a return date on the table for veteran star Dion Prestia as he continues to deal with an achilles issue. 'Dion is progressing similar to last week,' Tigers high performance manager Ben Serpell said. 'No real update on where he is at, but as I said last week, we will have some information out when we can on him.'
