Good chance to break through. WHY WHY WHY (4) was good on debut when third to Jared at Goulburn. Battled away okay when sixth to Shalaa Jet at Wyong. Gets in well with the 4kg claim. SO LONG FAREWELL (3) has claims on his second to Kundabung on the Kensington. GAMBLER (3) has always trialled well but hasn't delivered. He was caught wide at Newcastle last start. Won both recent trials nicely and time to show it on race day. CODENAME (2) is a first starter by Hanseatic. Was okay when third in his first trial here on May 12. Took benefit from the experience and was very good leading all-the-way to a near four length win in his second 17 days later. COSMIC EAGLE (6) was a handy third to First Landing on debut at Newcastle. CUBAN RAIN (3) showed a glimpse last preparation when a strong closing second to Rybakina over 1400m here. Kicked off this campaign with a third to Winner Of Kowloon before a smart win from Jamarni. Good chance again. JARED (2) had been runner-up six times with a number of close finishes. Finally broke through at Goulburn first-up before failing on the heavy track at Newcastle. Can bounce back. BUTTERFLY STYLE (5) dug deep to run down Rubilace in a tight finish at Sapphire Coast last start. SPACEBALLS (3) will take improvement from his first-up fourth to Mia Ballerina in a Bm64 at Canterbury. Scored a good win at Warwick Farm first-up last time in followed by a close third at Rosehill. Well placed dropping back to a Class 1. POINT SCORE (6) started third favourite on debut when down the track behind Rivellino at Randwick in January. Returned with a stylish win over 1000m here on May 31. HIPPOLYTE ROCK (2) has claims on his Super Maiden win at Newcastle before a spell. RAINBOW GODDESS (3) had a tough run out wide and was no match for Ninagloo Reef but held on for second when resuming at Hawkesbury. Had a bit of trouble getting a clear run on straightening when a nose second to Inncourt at Wyong. Can give this a shake. WILD THOUGHTS (1) did a nice job on debut when third behind Modella here back on Jan 29. Resumes here off a hard held all-the-way trial win. Wide gate the concern. BORDER TOWN (9) will take improvement from his first-up third here on June 3. UP AND UNDER (1) will appreciate a drop back in grade from two placings at Warwick Farm. Led from a wide gate when third to Knights Armour then tracked leader when third to Trapalanda over 2200m. Gets in well with the 4kg claim. PIPLUP (4) finished seventh in that race behind Trapalanda beaten two-and-a-half lengths. His two wins were over this trip, one of the at The Valley last November. ANT (5) got home well for a close third to Dark Arts at Canterbury second-up before a win over this track and trip. ALLEGRO MISS (7) scored a strong closing win in a Class 1 at Newcastle before jumping up to Midway company and not beat far in both goes. Best form is on wet tracks but she has placed on a Good 4. DIAMOND SHOW (6) followed a second to Bella Montagna here before back-to-back wins at Hawkesbury and Wyong. Chance for the hat-trick. TOM CRUISING (9) produced a good effort for second over 1212m at the Sapphire Coast first-up. Will appreciate stepping up to the mile where he has won twice. AUDENZIA (9) was wide early before getting outside the leader then going to the from on turn when just caught by Twilight Elegance here two runs back. Similar story here two weeks later when just beaten by Charleroi. Due for a win. STEEL RAIN (6) is also closing in on a win after three placings this time in. Narrowly beaten at Goulburn before a two length second to Unusual Prospect in a Gosford Super Maiden. CHEEKY DANCER (10) was third at Hawkesbury before being beaten a nose on a Good 4 in a Super Maiden at Tamworth. Not far behind the placegetters at her two runs since.

JUSTICE PLEASE (6) boxed on for third to Oakfield Mercury at Gunnedah before finishing down the track in a Super Maiden there three weeks later. Better effort when beaten less than a length into fourth behind Shalaa Jet when coming from back in the field. DEVINE CRUSADER (5) and MATETE (3) have place claims. BET: JUMP IN THE LINE to win. DIVO (17) was taken on in front when beaten three-and-a-half lengths by Flying Orchid who had the drop on him. It was a heavy track that day and he will appreciate getting onto firmer ground. JUST AWESOME (4) is a first starter by Written Tycoon from the Group 3 winner Bleu Roche. Stayed wide in winning his Warwick Farm trial on the synthetic then went straight to the front when an easy winner in his Kembla heat. BIG PAPA (1) is a debutant by Astern. Sat wide in winning his Warwick Farm trial with his ears pricked. Held up and clear late when second to Clanwilliam in his Rosehill heat. BET: DIVO to win. RACE 3: MIDWAY CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1000m) HARLEX (1) was very impressive first-up when a big maiden winner at Newcastle and followed up with a fourth to the progressive Shopshire Lad at Scone. He tracked Pratt who gave a kick on straightening but was strong late to finish a long head second. OUR LITTLE STAR (3) has one win in 14 starts but has placed nine times. Will take improvement from her first-up third to The Unique Star at Warwick Farm. Drawn to get an ideal run. OCTA DE LAGO (2) closed strongly down the outside fence to beat Signor Tortoni on debut at Goulburn. Overraced when seventh to Mia Ballerina at Canterbury last start. BET: HARLEX to win. GOLDEN STRAAND (1) debuted with a solid second behind Sapphire Rose over 1100m at Wyong on June 8. His dam was a stakes winner over 1350m and he will appreciate getting the extra trip too. KOWLOON VICTOR (2) raced back and very wide before closing nicely down the outside when beaten just over a length in fourth behind Just Like Tilda on debut at Kembla. His stablemate CUESTA (4) ran on from last when a half-length second to Winner Of Kowloon at Kembla two runs back before a length third to Inncourt at Wyong. BET: GOLDEN STRAAND to win. SONOFDEC (1) was a nice third to First Person on a Heavy 10 at Newcastle first-up on May 3 then was always well back when stepping up in grade behind Oh Diamond Lil at Scone's stand-alone meeting two weeks later. Bounced back with a nose second to Brave Call at Newcastle on June 7. LOOSE LOVE (3) is close to another win after placing in three of his last four starts. Was second in the Parkes Cup and a half-length second to Fay's Angel over 1900m at Canterbury last start. LINE OF FIRE (2) was just behind the placegetters at his last two starts and won't be far away again. BET: SONOFDEC to win. AROHA STONE (3) resumed at Newcastle over 1250m with a nice third to a race fit Motoscafo who has since won a Rosehill Midway. Only beat a couple home at Scone on Cup day before stepping up in trip and stretching her promising stablemate Caltsar over 1500m at Kembla. Get a 3kg claim. LIKE LUKEY (1) came from a long way back to finish a length second to Who Ever Thought in the Country Cup at Scone on May 16 finishing seventh to Mickey's Medal in a BM72 at Rosehill. His wins have been between 1600m and 1800m. MY MATE KATE (4) is coming off a handy win at Newcastle. GLENBOWER (5) has shown good ability in his three run career which started in March 2023 and two runs in May and June last year including a first-up Newcastle win. Trialling well including a win in his Warwick Farm heat on May 26. FLYING ARGYLE (1) resumed with a closing fourth behind the in-form French Marine at Wyong on June 8. Placed runner-up in both second-up runs and will be prominent. Just needs a touch of luck from the wide draw. ORTHIE'S BOY (7) is coming off a last start win and won't be far away.

Led out wide when a narrow winner in her Warwick Farm trial. Sprinted smartly from last between runners to beat Sinister in her June 6 Rosehill trial. YATTAZOU (8) is another on debut. By Zoustar from Group 3 winner Yattarna. Was doing her best work late when second to Vincetio in her Rosehill heat. BET: ERNAUX to win. CINSAULT (8) has placed in all six starts, three of them here including a close second to Totoka. Raced wide when runner-up to Frosty Girl at Warwick Farm first-up this time in. WA WA WA (6) improved with each run of his first campaign. Was a three-quarter-length third to Flying From Above here second-up before a second to Deal 'N' Dash at Rosehill. BET: DYAMI to win. LENNOX (7) was doing his best work late when third to Okami Star over 1600m at Gosford at his second Australian start. His only win so far away over 2200m in England so he will appreciate the step up to 1900m. GUZUMPED (3) was spotting the leader about eight lengths at the 600m before clawing it back to three-and-a-half lengths when eighth behind Edited By over 1500m at Rosehill first-up. Won two from three second-up and is a winner over 2000m. FIOPROSPERO (5) has claims on his recent Eagle Farm wins. BET: LENNOX each-way. HARRY'S BAR (10) has shown more ability than a horse with just one win so far which did come over 1200m here last August. She has been runner-up four times. Resumed this campaign with a third to Lady Extreme in an 1100m Rosehill Midway. HANAU (4) was runner-up to Fire Tribe at Randwick when resuming two preparations back and fifth to In Flight first-up last time in. Winner at his only run here. Drawn out but should make his presence felt. EPIC PROPORTIONS (2) was a close second to Albe Willie first-up before a fifth to Storm The Ramparts at Randwick. Drawn wide but back in grade and will run well. BET: HARRY'S BAR to win. NO DRAMA (1) led all the way to score a handy win from Naval Commission in a BM78 over this track and distance on Apr 30. Dropped in trip when well beaten behind Spione at Randwick a little over three weeks later. Back to midweek grade. NANA'S WISH (8) was just behind the placegetters in both runs back from a spell in Victoria. Won over this distance on the Kensington early last year. WILLIE OPPA (14) bumped another runner after straightening and eased near the 300m when down the track behind Mille De Lune at Randwick last start. Previous form was good including a Hawkesbury win.

THE BEAST (3) has placed third in both run this campaign but hasn't looked entirely comfortable on the heavy tracks. He will appreciate getting back on a better surface. COVERT THINKING (6) settled last and made ground along the rails on debut at Hawkesbury before closing nicely for a half-length second to Elivina over 1500m at Newcastle. Backed it up with a handy win over this track and distance on May 29. Gets in well with the 3kg claim. SURREAL I AM (2) kicked off his campaign with a good win at Sunshine Coast before a fifth at the Gold Coast. Bounced back with another nice win at the Sunshine Coast. OAKFIELD MAMSELLE (1) resumes here. Is a first-up winner and unbeaten at the trip. BURJ (6) raced well in her first campaign including a debut win over 1300m in a Newcastle Super Maiden and a half-length second to C'mon mate at Kembla. Wasn't pushed when second to Sovereign Hill in her May 30 Randwick trial. DIDDLE DUMPLING (3) won her maiden over 1400m at Hawkesbury before a seventh in a Randwick Bm72 and fifth to Wooloowin at the Gold Coast. Kept under a hold with plenty to offer in both recent trials. POWER BALLARD (1) will appreciate a drop back to provincial grade and a claim.
