Zhi Xuan dominates Harleein to seal third title at President's Trophy
KUALA LUMPUR: Goh Zhi Xuan clinched her third title of the year after beating Harleein Tan 11-7, 5-11, 11-4, 11-5 in an all-Malaysian women's final at the President's Trophy squash tournament in Seremban on Sunday.
The World No. 129 has now added the President's Trophy to her victories at the Singapore Satellite and Ace Satellite in Kuala Lumpur.
"It feels nice to win my third tournament this year," said Zhi Xuan.
"Harleein played really well, but I stayed patient and it paid off. This win also shows I'm making a promising transition from junior to senior level."
In the men's final, Canada's world No. 227 Karim Aguib produced a dominant display to beat Malaysia's world No. 103 Addeen Idrakie 11-7, 11-1, 11-6.
