IShowSpeed's viral Instagram DMs just got leaked, and the Internet can't stop talking about it

(Image via YouTube/@IShowSpeed) It's 2025, and nothing stays private on the internet for too long, especially if you're IShowSpeed. Recently, a bunch of his Instagram DMs started making the rounds online, and fans instantly hit panic (or popcorn) mode. But before you start judging or jumping to conclusions, here's the real tea. What Even Happened? On June 16, 2025, several Instagram DMs, supposedly from Speed's account, went viral. They showed him chatting up a girl — flirty banter, date plans, and even a wild 'I'm bricked ASF' message. And just like that, #IShowSpeedDMs started trending. But those messages weren't leaked in the shady, backstabby way we're used to seeing with celeb scandals. Turns out, Speed had already sent those DMs on stream . Yup, he did it live. With full chaos energy. Flashback to the Real Story To get the full context, we need to rewind to an October 2023 stream. During one of his chaotic live streams, Speed was hopping onto random TikTok lives looking for a date. That's when he stumbled upon Anya a.k.a. 'ChopperHatGirl', a girl wearing Tony Tony Chopper's hat from One Piece (which, fun fact, Speed once said 'saved his life'). It was instant anime-fueled chemistry. Speed told her she was beautiful, gushed over their shared love for One Piece , and asked her out right there . by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Honestly, peak Gen-Z romance. Banned Mid-Flirt?! But just when things were getting cute, TikTok straight-up banned him from the live, citing 'sexual activity and services.' Speed was visibly shocked and said: "What?! How did I get banned?! Sexual? What?! Chat... I didn't even show my me*t!" IShowSpeed Talking to A Girl on Stream.. (ChopperHatGirl) From TikTok Ban to Instagram Slide Mid-confusion and mid-rant, Speed turned to his chat and announced: 'Ay, chat, tell her I'm about to DM her on IG.' And he did exactly that. What followed was a full-on DM convo that started cute, then got intense fast. Speed introduced himself, flirted hard, and even shot his shot with: 'When can I take you out?' To which Anya replied: 'Whenever you want… I'll make time for you.' And then came the now-infamous line: 'I'm bricked ASF NGL, you wanna see?' She jokingly played along and said that: 'Take it slow, baby.' Then, Speed clapped back with: 'I can't, I'm Speed.' Were the DMs actually 'leaked'? Not really. Speed literally read them out and sent them during a live stream in 2023. The screenshots that surfaced now are basically just old convos resurfacing in 2025 internet drama fashion. Classic social media moment out of context and blown out of proportion.

Calgary 911 operator accused of feeding police info to gang members pleads guilty to FOIP Act offences

A former Calgary 911 operator accused of feeding protected police information to the rivals of alleged gang members, walked away from her criminal charges Monday after pleading guilty to offences under Alberta's Freedom of Information and Privacy (FOIP) Act. Marian Buonincontri, 59, was originally facing charges of breach of trust, fraudulent use of a computer system and mischief relating to police data. Instead, she pleaded guilty to three counts of collecting, using, and/or disclosing personal information between March 1, 2022 to Jan. 26, 2023. On Monday, Justice Karen Molle agreed with a joint sentencing recommendation and imposed a $30,000 fine — $10,000 for each offence. After pleading guilty to the FOIP Act charges, Justice Molle dismissed Buonincontri's criminal charges. Buonincontri was a senior emergency communications officer who worked for Calgary 911 services from May 2013 to January 2023. "To effectively fulfil those duties, the defendant was allowed to access a number of databases" that contained personal information of individuals, according to an agreed statement of facts (ASF). At the time of her arrest in January 2024, police alleged Buonincontri searched information on organized crime figures in Calgary and then fed that information to rival gangsters. According to the ASF, prepared by organized crime prosecutor Brian Holtby and defence lawyer Pat Fagan, Buonincontri admitted to taking photos of computer screens at her workplace, using her personal cell phone. Buonincontri's plea did not, however, involve any admission that she was involved in organized crime. But details from court documents filed in support of a 2023 search warrant tell a different story. At the time of her arrest, Calgary police said they'd discovered more than 200 screenshots of database searches on Buonincontri's seized electronic devices. Police were led to Buonincontri after discovering the screenshots on the devices of two men arrested in two different drug trafficking investigations in 2022. The two men were connected to the FK and Independent Soldier gangs, two notorious and violent criminal organizations in Calgary, according to the search warrant application filed as part of the Buonincontri investigation. Investigators believed Buonincontri used her high-level security clearance and access to confidential police databases to search the names and licence plate numbers of known gang associates, providing the results to rival organized crime groups. A search warrant application known as an ITO (information to obtain) outlines details of the evidence police collected to support warrants to search the cell phones of Buonincontri, Steven Mark and Domenico Loiacono. According to the ITO, Loiacono "has been found to associate with members of the Independent Soldiers," a B.C.-based gang with strong ties to Calgary. When Loiacono — who is currently serving a prison sentence for drug trafficking — was arrested on extortion and trafficking charges in 2022, police seized and searched his cell phone, ultimately finding screenshots of CPS database searches. The images contained the names and personal details, including licence plate numbers and addresses of people under investigation by CPS. Police launched an investigation aimed at tracking down a leak within the Calgary Police Service. Then it happened again. A month after the Loiacono arrest, police took Steven Mark into custody in connection with a drug trafficking investigation. In searching his seized iPhone, investigators found three more concerning images, screengrabs of protected police database information. Mark, according to the ITO, "has been found to associate with members of the FK, which is a known organized crime group." The FK group is responsible for a number of shootings and homicides in Calgary. Police looked into which of its employees had searched the information found on the two men's phones between April and December 2022. According to the ITO, the searches were all done by Marian Buonincontri. Buonincontri has not worked for the city since she was placed on leave in January 2023.

German authorities confirm case of African swine fever in wild boar

Authorities in Germany have confirmed a case of African swine fever (ASF) in a wild boar in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, in the northwest of the country. The presence of the disease was confirmed by the National Reference Laboratory for ASF at the Friedrich Loeffler Institute (FLI), the leading animal disease research centre in Germany. The dead boar was found in the district of Olpe, and further suspected cases are currently being clarified, the FLI said. The exact ASF virus type is also in the process of being confirmed at the FLI in order to support the outbreak investigation in addition to the epidemiological task force. The authorities in North-Rhine Westphalia immediately initiated protective and control measures, including the search for further dead wild boars. In Germany, the federal states are responsible for combating animal diseases. The authorities responsible under state law carry out the measures to control animal diseases, while the FLI supports the epidemiological investigations. The authorities cannot confirm at present if this case in a wild boar is linked with African swine fever outbreaks in several other German states. This can only be assessed by closer examination of the virus from the Olpe area. The FLI said that outbreak investigations are important in order to asses the extent of the epidemic and to be able to take appropriate control measures. Farmers in the area are being advised to review biosecurity measures. In the case of epidemics in Germany, cases have so far occurred in domestic pigs, especially is summer. Therefore, increased vigilance is required, the FLI said. In Ireland, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine recently issued a reminder, via social media, for people never to feed food waste to pigs, as this can be a cause of ASF. In a post on social media platform X, the department said: 'African swine fever can survive for months to years in pork and pork products like cured hams, salamis, frozen pork, etc. Food waste containing infected meat that is eaten by animals can cause a disease outbreak. 'Never feed food waste to pigs,' the department post added.

Citing 'no travel demand,' airlines ask government to waive user charges at Srinagar airport for a year

Citing 'no travel demand,' airlines ask govt to waive user charges at Srinagar airport for a year NEW DELHI: Citing virtually "no demand for air travel to and from Kashmir," India's biggest airlines have asked government to waive off Rs 1,250 (taxes extra) that are paid by every passenger flying out of Srinagar as airport & security charges for a year to create a fiscal incentive and help revive visitor flow to the valley. The Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA), which represents Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet, recently made this request to aviation secretary Samir Kumar Sinha in a representation. Following the deadly April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, tourism has all but collapsed in Kashmir. Airfares to the valley and hotel tariffs had skyrocketed post-Covid in Kashmir, but now are at rock bottom as hardly any tourists go there now. Airlines were asked to resume Srinagar flights but are reporting low aircraft occupancies on flights to and from the place. In fact, travel agents from across the country will converge in Kashmir this weekend in a bid to revive tourism. The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), which is one of the country's biggest umbrella organisations for agents with over 1,600 members, is holding its meeting in Srinagar and Pahalgam from June 13-15. The FIA letter titled "support required to boost air travel demand at Srinagar airport" to aviation secretary Sinha says: "After the Pahalgam incident, tourists are terrified and no one is travelling to Kashmir region for tourism purposes. There is no demand for air travel to and from Kashmir. Hotels are empty there." "Apart from safety and security measures, which government of India is taking, financial incentives also play an important role in rebuilding traffic. Currently, every departing passenger (from Srinagar) pays Rs 1,050 as user development fee (UDF) and Rs 200 as aviation security fee (ASF), plus GST.... request government (to) waive both UDF and ASF for every departing passenger from Srinagar airport for one year with immediate effect. It will boost air travel demand to and from Srinagar airport," the FIA letter says. About the upcoming meet in Kashmir this weekend, TAFI VP Anil Kalsi said: 'Our members from all over the country will go to Srinagar and Pahalgam and assess the situation for themselves. Once and if they feel confident about the place and about the safety & security of tourists, they will again start presenting Kashmir as a destination. We will be staying across hotels, including houseboats, and have meetings with government representatives. Airlines will also be a part of this meeting we are having in Kashmir.' Srinagar hotels and flights commanded a big premium before the Pahalgam attack, as Kashmir was seeing unprecedented tourist footfalls post-Covid. But after the April 22 attack, tourists already there left Kashmir in droves and those who had plans to visit cancelled the same. 'What happened in Pahalgam was tragic and shocking beyond words. Authorities there need to regain the confidence and trust of tourists for the latter to return there,' said a Delhi-based travel agent. If the agents' meeting finds the situation safe enough for that to happen, what incentives will the local hotels and airlines offer for tourists to return? 'The near complete collapse of demand has left airfares and hotel tariffs at near bottom levels, so prices are very low. Gulmarg's Khyber, for instance, used to have daily tariffs of about Rs 75,000 which are now down to Rs 21-22,000 and the hotel is offering packages,' said Kalsi. J & K is currently focused on ensuring a safe Amarnath Yatra, as they hope that will send out a message that tourists can return to Kashmir. The yatra duration has been curtailed to 38 days, instead of 52 days in 2024, and will be between July 3 and Aug 9, 2025. A total of 581 companies from various Central Armed Police Forces, along with personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, will be deployed along the pilgrimage routes to ensure safety of the lakhs of pilgrims.
