Girls secure top ranks in Andhra Pradesh EdCET; 99 per cent qualify
VIJAYAWADA: Girls secured a majority of the top ranks in the AP Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET)–2025, the results of which were announced on Friday. The examination, conducted by ANU on behalf of APSCHE, recorded a high pass percentage of 99.42%, with 14,527 of the 14,612 candidates qualifying. In the Biological Science stream, girls claimed the top three positions. Kella Venkata Kusumanjali of Visakhapatnam topped the list, followed by Mylapilli Chandini (Srikakulam) and Donka Krishna, the only male in the top five. In English methodology, Peerla Prasantham from Anakapalli bagged the top spot, while Srihitha Dhanisetti and Vuttaradhi Akhila secured second and third places respectively. In Mathematics, although Mudimanchi Naveen Kumar secured first place, girls like Pakki Sai Vandana and Surada Komalika followed closely. A similar pattern was seen in Social Studies and Physical Sciences. Announcing the results, HRD Minister N Lokesh shared the update on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

AP EdCET 2025 Results Announced
The results for the AP EdCET 2025 have been officially released, with Minister Nara Lokesh announcing them on the 'X' platform. The examination recorded an impressive pass rate of 99.42%, with a total of 17,795 candidates registering across the state. Out of these, 14,527 candidates successfully qualified. The entrance examination took place on June 5 under the auspices of Acharya Nagarjuna University. Following the recent release of the preliminary key, officials have made the final results available. The AP EdCET serves as a gateway for admissions into and (Special) courses for the academic year 2025-26.

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, APSCHE has released AP EdCET Answer Key 2025 on June 10, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test can download the provisional key through the official website of AP EdCET at Along with the preliminary key, the response sheets and master question papers have also been released. The last date to raise objection against the answer key is June 13, 2025. To download the answer key, candidates can follow the steps given below. 1. Visit the official website of AP EdCET at 2. Click on AP EdCET Answer Key 2025 link available on the home page. 3. A new page will open where candidates will have to click on the paper name. 4. The answer key will be displayed. 5. Check the answer key and download it. 6. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need. The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of 150 total marks (i.e., 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences / Mathematics methodologies. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test 2025 (AP EdCET 2025) admit cards today, May 30. Eligible candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website AP EdCET 2025 will be conducted on June 5 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is closing the registration window today, May 14, for the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EdCET) 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website to avoid additional charges. The AP EdCET 2025 is being conducted for admission into and Special Education courses in universities and affiliated colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26. The application fee is Rs 600 for general category candidates, Rs 500 for BC, SC, ST, and PwBD applicants. Late Registration with Additional Fee Date Late fee May 15 - May 19, 2025 Rs 1,000 May 20 - May 23, 2025 Rs 2,000 May 24 - May 26, 2025 Rs 4,000 May 27 - June 3, 2025 Rs 10,000 Candidates will be allowed to edit their submitted applications from May 24 to May 28, and hall tickets will be available from May 30.
