VIJAYAWADA: Avanaganti Anirudh Reddy from Hyderabad secured the top rank while Mandavyapuram Bhanu Charan Reddy of Srikalahasti and Kotipalli Yaseanth Satwik from Palacole took the second and third ranks, respectively, in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAPCET) 2025. The results of the AP EAPCET 2025 were officially released on Sunday evening by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), which conducted the exam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Minister for Higher Education Nara Lokesh announced the results via social media platform X, congratulating all the successful candidates. In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, the top rank was claimed by Ramayanam Venkata Naga Sai Harshavardhan from Penamaluru in Krishna district. Shanmukha Nishanth Akshintala from Chanda Nagar, Telangana, and Degala Akirananda Vinay Mallesh Kumar from Chopela village in Dr B R Ambedkar Konaseema district secured the second and third positions, respectively. Out of the total 3,62,448 candidates who applied, 3,40,300 appeared for the exam across Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy streams. The overall pass percentage stood at 75.67%, with 2,57,509 students qualifying. In the Engineering stream, 2,64,840 candidates appeared, and 1,89,748 qualified, marking a pass rate of 71.65%. In the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, 75,460 candidates appeared, and 67,761 qualified, achieving a pass percentage of 89.8%.

The result is issued in the form of a scorecard displaying individual marks and the corresponding rank. It is important to note that candidates must secure at least 25% marks (40 out of 160) in order to be ranked. Those who fail to meet this minimum requirement will not be assigned a rank and will be ineligible for the counselling process. The final ranks are determined using a 75:25 weightage formula, with 75% weight assigned to the marks obtained in AP EAPCET 2025 and 25% weight to marks from Class 12 board examinations. When will counselling for AP EAPCET 2025 begin? Following the declaration of results, APSCHE will initiate the counselling process for admission into 322 participating colleges offering undergraduate courses in Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy. The cut-off ranks for each round of counselling will be announced separately, outlining the opening and closing ranks for different colleges and categories. This year, the AP EAPCET was conducted from May 19 to May 27, 2025, in two sessions per day across 145 centres in 24 districts of Andhra Pradesh and two centres in Hyderabad. The preliminary answer keys for the Agriculture & Pharmacy and Engineering streams were released on May 27 and May 28 respectively. Objections were invited until May 29 and May 30, after which a panel of subject experts reviewed the challenges and finalised the keys. The final results were prepared based on these final answer keys.

The results for the AP EAPCET 2025, which facilitates admission into engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses in Andhra Pradesh, have been officially released. Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-Kakinada, Acharya CSRK Prasad, announced the results on Sunday evening, revealing an overall pass rate of 75.67%. Notably, the government managed to publish these results within a mere 12 days of the examination's conclusion. A total of 362,448 candidates registered for the exam, conducted across 145 centres in both Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad. Of those, 340,300 students participated, with 257,509 individuals qualifying, reflecting the aforementioned pass rate. Expressing satisfaction over the prompt release of results, the Vice-Chancellor extended his gratitude to all those involved in facilitating the smooth conduct of the examinations. The examination process involved four sessions held for the Agriculture and Pharmacy departments on May 19 and 20, with 75,460 students participating, out of which 67,761 (89.80%) qualified. The Engineering examinations took place in ten sessions from May 21 to 27, attracting 264,840 candidates, of whom 189,748 (71.65%) successfully passed.
