Six students from Andhra Pradesh among top 100 in NEET UG
Visakhapatnam: Six students from Andhra Pradesh have secured ranks in the top 100 in NEET UG 2025, the results of which were released on Saturday. Darbha Karthik Ram Kireeti achieved an impressive all India rank (AIR) of 19. The other high achievers include Kodavati Mohith Sri Ram (AIR 56), Desina Surya Charan (59), Podilapu Avinash (64), Yerra Sameer Kumar (70), and Tummuri Siva Manideep (92). Interestingly, the top three performers, Kireeti, Mohith, and Charan, also found places in the top 10 ranks of the Andhra Pradesh EAPCET 2025 in the agriculture stream, the results of which were released about a week ago. A total of 59,219 candidates registered for NEET 2025 in Andhra Pradesh, of whom 57,934 appeared for the exam and 36,776 qualified. This represents a decline of over 7,000 students from 2024, when 66,522 had applied. The qualifying percentage also fell to 63.5% in 2025, compared to 67.5% the previous year. Insiders in the coaching industry attribute this to both the increased uptake of CUET for allied courses and the perception that the controversy surrounding the 2024 paper has made NEET appear 'unpredictable. ' Speaking to TOI, Darbha Karthik Ram Kireeti, who topped Andhra Pradesh in NEET with AIR 19 and secured 8th rank in the AP EAPCET, said that he aspires to specialise in cardiac or skull-base surgery. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like USDJPY đang đi lên không?
