Titans WR Treylon Burks says he feels "amazing" in recovery from torn ACL
Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks says he's feeling good as he recovers from the torn ACL that ended his 2024 season in October. "I feel amazing, just blessed," Burks said, via "I've just been leaning on God, leaning on the people that believe in me, care. And I feel really good, and happy to be in the situation I'm in." Advertisement Even before the injury, Burks had been a disappointment as the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. Through three NFL seasons he has just 49 catches for 665 yards and one touchdown. Burks knows he's no lock to make the Titans' roster but says he's not worried about competing with the other players in the Tennessee wide receivers room. "I am not going out to prove nobody wrong, I am going out to prove myself right," he said. "I tore my ACL [on October 18] and I am running. I am running routes, doing everything within those seven months, and it's like, 'Wow.' And it's nobody but God who made it happen. That's who I play for and that's who I lean on. I am not worried about whoever is in the room or whoever we've got. We're a team and we're going to go out and play ball." Burks hasn't played as much ball as the Titans were hoping he would in his first three seasons, but he's preparing for a training camp in which he hopes he can prove that he belongs.

WNBA star Cameron Brink issues furious response to fan who accused her of prioritizing 'red carpets' over ACL injury rehab
Cameron Brink offered an angry response to a fan who accused the WNBA player of prioritizing 'red carpets and schmoozing' over her injury rehab. Brink, the No. 2 pick in last year's WNBA Draft, has been sidelined since she tore her ACL in a game last June. And with the forward yet to play for her LA Sparks this season, one fan suggested on social media that her focus was in the wrong place. 'She should've been back on the court now, and something tells me that if she put as much work into rehab as she puts into walking down red carpets and schmoozing, she'd be back by now,' the fan wrote in the comment, which Brink shared to her Instagram story on Monday. The commenter also wrote that Brink made 'public appearances with no brace, crutches or anything' after her left ACL procedure last year. And while the former Stanford star claimed she 'usually' doesn't 'give energy to this type of stuff,' she wrote to her 1.4million followers that the commenter was 'not a real fan.' 'I'm working INCREDIBLY hard every day,' Brink wrote. 'I would give anything to be out on the court right now. Basketball is my passion and everything to me… to say this you aren't a real fan. 'Thank you to those who understand ACLs can take a year & giving me grace. I cannot wait until I get to play again.' Brink, who became a massive beneficiary of the new NIL rules while in college, has kept busy off the court while recovering from her injury. Last year, she posed for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's 2025 issue and also went to France for Paris Fashion Week. More recently, she graced the cover of PLAYERS magazine, as she donned a black suit and opened-up grey undershirt with a cigarette in her mouth. Skims also modeled for SKIMS last year alongside fellow WNBA players like Skylar Diggins-Smith and Kelsey Plum. Although Brink has missed her team's first 10 games of the season, she has traveled with the team and cheered them on in some eye-catching outfits. Her coach, Lynne Roberts, said after a practice earlier this month that Brink was doing on-court work, but added that there was no date set for her return. The Sparks lost in overtime on Monday to the Valkyries to fall to just 3-7 on the year. Their next game is at the Aces on Wednesday.

Stefon Diggs sidesteps questions about viral video, gives update on his recovery
Patriots' Stefon Diggs gives update on knee, but doesn't want to talk about his viral boat video Patriots' Stefon Diggs gives update on knee, but doesn't want to talk about his viral boat video Patriots' Stefon Diggs gives update on knee, but doesn't want to talk about his viral boat video Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs can't do much on the field at the moment as he continues his recovery from ACL surgery. But he's still putting in important work with his new team in hopes of being ready to go for Week 1 in a few months. "I cant play outside with my friends yet," Diggs joked with reporters after Tuesday's mandatory minicamp practice in Foxboro. "I'm as engaged as I can be. I can't run a route but I can take mental reps. I can have those conversations or ask questions about a route." Diggs said he has a lot of homework to do before Training Camp kicks off July 23, so he'll be emersed in his playbook in the five weeks between the end of minicamp Wednesday and the start of training camp. And while he's not able to show off his moves between the numbers, Diggs' ability to sidestep questions was on full display Tuesday afternoon. Stefon Diggs sidesteps questions about viral video Diggs made headlines for the wrong reasons during New England's OTAs, when a video showed him partying on a boat over Memorial Day weekend. He only missed a few voluntary practices, but that wasn't the big issue with the video, which went viral on social media. In the video, Diggs was spotted handing out an unknown substance to partygoers. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel didn't seem too happy when he was asked about the video in Foxboro, and on Tuesday, it was Diggs' turn to answer questions on the matter. Diggs, however, didn't have much to say about the video. "I want to be as candid with you guys as possible. I have a thing where I [don't] talk about my personal life with people I don't know personally. I'm sure the men and women here are great people, but I like to keep my personal life personal," said Diggs. "I had a conversation with Vrabes, obviously. He told me he hopes everyone is making good decisions. I had some conversations with people in the building as well. Everything else is everything else. The particulars are all internal." Reporters asked Diggs what was in the bag, if he knew he was being recorded, and if he learned anything from the ordeal. He answered each of those inquiries in similar fashion. "I've been in this league 10 years; you can format the question many different ways, but I'll answer it the same way," replied Diggs. "The conversations I had with Vrabes and people in the building are going to be handled in-house." Diggs was a bit irritated with all the questions about the video, but was then asked if it's important for him to be in Foxboro with the team. "I was happy to be here and happy to be back at work, being around the guys. Football is the main thing and the only thing I care about is winning," he said. Will Stefon Diggs be ready for Week 1? The Patriots signed Diggs to a three-year contract in the offseason to come in and be one of Drake Maye's top receivers. But he tore his ACL while with the Texans last October, and it's unclear if he'll be ready to go when the Patriots host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. Diggs is now seven months removed from surgery and has started to do some on-field activities, just not team activities. He's going to do everything he can to get ready for the start of the season, and hopes to take the field at Gillette Stadium on Sept. 7. "We'll see how it goes," Diggs said of his Week 1 availability. "I'm grinding each and every day. I can't do too much of the team stuff, but I'm eager to get out there so when they do press the button, I'm going to be ready. "I'm confident," added Diggs. "I took my rehab pretty serious. In the beginning phases I wasn't as confident. But when I got here I'm in the mindset to get after it. I'm like a dog on a leash because I want to go. I'm looking forward to training camp." Stefon Diggs on Drake Maye, Mike Vrabel Diggs hasn't been able to catch any passes from his new quarterback, but he already likes what he's seen from Maye from the sideline. "Personality-wise, he's a dog. You can tell he's a dog from the get-go," said Diggs. "You can tell he's committed to the process and wants to play well. I know he's been here all spring. He's been real helpful too." And while it sounds like Vrabel had to have a stern chat with Diggs a few weeks ago, the receiver loves what his new head coach brings to the field every day. "He's like a player. He wants to take care of you, but he's committed to the grind. You can tell he's been part of championship teams; he knows what it looks like and what the DNA looks like," Diggs said of Vrabel. "He's a grinder and nothing comes easy. He talks a lot of smack too. I'm a huge fan of him and can't wait to play for him. He has that edge where you want to run through a wall for him. "We go back and forth in practice and I'm not even participating," Diggs added.

Stefon Diggs earns praise from Mike Vrabel for bringing energy to Patriots offseason workouts
The Stefon Diggs controversy appears to be a thing of the past in New England. Diggs is on the field Monday as the Patriots kick off mandatory minicamp in Foxboro, and the veteran receiver earned praise from his new head coach for the energy he brings to the field. The last time Mike Vrabel was asked about Diggs, the coach was being peppered with questions about a video that surfaced on social media showing the receiver partying on a boat during Memorial Day weekend. Diggs was seen sharing an unknown pink substance with partygoers, which created quite the stir in New England and around the NFL. "Obviously, we want to make great decisions on and off the field," Vrabel said at the time. The Patriots were in the middle of OTAs in Foxboro when the video surfaced. Even if those practices were voluntary, it wasn't the best look for Diggs, who is recovering from ACL surgery this offseason. But Diggs was back in Foxboro for OTAs last week, and was back out on the field Monday for the first of two practices of mandatory minicamp. While Diggs is still limited in what he can do on the field as he recovers, Vrabel has liked what he's seen from the veteran pass-catcher. "He's trying to figure out where everything is and what his role is, and making sure as we add those situations – third down, no huddle, red zone – that he's staying up on it and working hard in his rehab," said Vrabel. "There are certain drills he can be out there and certain drills he won't be. But I think he's engaged and I like his energy." Energy has never been a problem for Diggs over his 10-year NFL career, and it's good to see he's still bringing it despite being limited on the field. Diggs also spent a lot of time working with second-year receiver Ja'Lynn Polk in last week's OTA practice that was open to the media, bringing a much-needed veteran voice to New England's receiving corps. The 31-year-old had 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns for the Texans in 2024 before he suffered a torn ACL in October. His rehab appears to be going well this summer, and the Patriots are hoping for a lot of catches -- and a lot of energy -- from Diggs after signing him to a three-year, $63.5 million deal in the offseason.

Report: With viral video behind them, Patriots intend to pay Stefon Diggs ‘a lot of money'
If there was any doubt about Stefon Diggs' status with the New England Patriots it went away when the wide receiver was in attendance for Monday's voluntary practice. A video surfaced on social media that showed Diggs on a boat and had a bag with an unknown pink substance in it that he was handing out to women that fans on social media wondering whether Diggs' time in New England would end before it even started. Advertisement But not do the Patriots have zero plans to release Diggs, they want to make sure he gets paid. 'They intend to pay him a lot of money,' NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Monday on 'The Insiders.' 'They haven't yet, but they intend to pay him a lot of money especially after he passed the physical from his ACL recovery. He does seem to be on track. This is a player they want to keep, want to be making plays for them. That's why they signed him in free agency.' Diggs tore his ACL in Week 8 last season. His status for Week 1 was unknown, but Rapoport's report suggests optimism — especially given the fact he passed his physical. And while he was limited during Monday's practice, MassLive's Mark Daniels reported Diggs 'looked good for a player who suffered a torn ACL last fall,' and also 'had a notable burst of speed during position drills.' Advertisement The Patriots, in need of a wide receiver, signed Diggs to a three-year, $69 million deal in March. The hope is that he'll not only give Drake Maye a legitimate WR1 in an important Year 2 at quarterback, but that he'll also provide the Patriots with offense they've been missing the last few seasons.
