A section of the A3 will close in both directions over the weekend as the £317m Wisley interchange upgrade continues in Surrey. National Highways has said the closure will be between the M25 Junction 10 and the Painshill Roundabout in Cobham, lasting from 21:00 BST on Friday until 06:00 on Monday. The works include installing an overhead road sign holder, drainage work in the central reservation and installing trenches for technology across all lanes. Diversions will be in place across the weekend. The same section of the A3 will be closed again from 4 to 7 July, say National Highways. M25 and A3 interchange to be closed over weekend

The interchange between the M25 and A3 will be closed over the weekend as a £317m junction upgrade Highways said the closure of the gyratory at the M25's junction 10 (Wisley interchange) will begin at 21:00 BST and end at 06:00 on Monday. Motorists can drive through the junction on both the A3 and M25, but they can't leave or join, as all slip roads off the junction will be closed.A newly signed diversion route will be in place. National Highways said it was using an alternative diversion route due to the closure of the A320 Guildford Road in both directions, between the Ottershaw and St Peter's Way closure will take place from 05:00 on Saturday until 05:00 on County Council said it shut the section of the road to divert the underground services that lie beneath the Guildford works at junction 10 - the busiest section of the M25 - are being carried out as part of a long-term project to widen the A3 where it meets the project is due to be completed by spring 2026.
