A new space show narrated by actor Pedro Pascal will debut at the American Museum of Natural History this summer
Pedro Pascal is headed to space—sort of.
The beloved actor will lend his voice to "Encounters in the Milky Way," the brand-new Hayden Planetarium Space Show opening at the American Museum of Natural History on June 9, 2025. The show marks the seventh installment in the museum's storied Space Show series and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the iconic Rose Center for Earth and Space.
Using jaw-dropping visualizations based on real data from the European Space Agency's Gaia mission (which has mapped nearly two billion stars), 'Encounters in the Milky Way' takes viewers on a cosmic joyride through billions of years of galactic motion. It's the first Hayden Space Show to explore how the Milky Way's dynamic dance affects our solar system's past—and its wild future.
Audiences will watch our Sun's birth possibly triggered by the Milky Way's clash with the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy, see our system drift into a supernova-cleared 'local bubble' around the time humans first stood upright and fast-forward to the future, when a rogue star named Gliese 710 barrels through the Oort cloud, messing with comets like it owns the place.
Directed by Carter Emmart and produced by the museum's award-winning science visualization team, the program also spotlights cutting-edge tools like the James Webb Space Telescope and features a brand-new immersive audio system for maximum galactic drama.

Olivia Attwood hits out at Kardashians after Kylie Jenner's surgery admission
Former Love Islander Olivia Attwood fronts a new series that delves into the world of aesthetic enhancements, but believes honesty is the best policy when it comes to celebrities and their cosmetic procedures Former Love Island star Olivia Attwood has hit out at the Kardashians for being selective with their honesty about cosmetic surgery, as she slammed celebrities for being "disingenuous". The 34-year-old hosts ITV documentary series The Price of Perfection, in which she discusses the issues around cosmetic surgery and aesthetic enhancements. Olivia herself paid £3,000 for a boob job at the age of 20, but later paid around £10,000 to have them removed and smaller ones implanted. Her comments about the Kardashians come after Kylie Jenner, 27, finally gave details to a follower on TikTok that she had a breast enhancement when she was 19. The star was questioned about her cleavage, to which she replied with the size, profile and even the name of her surgeon. It came after her mum, Kris Jenner, admitted she'd had a facelift. But Olivia said Kylie's confession was "too little, too late." She believes Kylie should be honest about the rest of her cosmetic procedures. She added that Kylie and her sisters' bodies "are not created in the gym." Olivia told the Sun: "Kylie came out and said about her boobs, and I was like: 'I've been talking about my breasts for the past 10 years.' I like the Kardashians, this is not me bashing them, but it's too little, too late for me." She went on to say how she feels the Kardashians should be transparent about all their procedures, because it's 'disingenuous' to pretend their looks aren't down to surgery. She continued: "We know Kylie's breasts are fake. "We knew she had lip fillers when she was selling those lip kits. What about talking about lipo and BBLs?," before saying she believes the Kardashians have had more work done. But although she has had breast augmentation more than once, Olivia revealed that a BBL is the one procedure she would steer clear of. Joking that she has a 'pancake bum', the presenter said: "BBL is the only one I wouldn't do, because the risk is too much. It's one of the surgeries that has the highest revision rate." A BBL, or Brazilian Butt Lift, is a procedure undertaken to change the size of their buttocks. Fat is removed to from other parts of the patient's body, including the belly, hops and back, then injected back into the buttocks. It's one of the surgeries Olivia covers in an episode in the first series of The Price of Perfection. She said of the second season: 'We touched on brand new subjects. There's just so many different avenues that you can cover, and each one is an education in itself.' During the BBL episode, she wants to film a 360 liposuction and BBL procedure, which is performed on a woman named Scarlett. But Olivia feared the worst during the scenes in Turkey, when the crew were told they weren't allowed to record the full treatment after all. Speaking about the decision, Olivia said: "They did change their mind at the absolute final hour, so we just told that story and it's in its truthfulness." She added: "It was awful. A lot goes into planning these shoots for my team and I. But I was thinking, 'this is a massive red flag. Why have they suddenly changed their mind?'" Vogue Williams admits she almost didn't marry 'sociopath' Spencer Matthews
Although they are now happily married with three children, Vogue admits her first impressions of husband Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews weren't great, believing she wasn't going to like him Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews almost didn't get together, after she had already made up her mind about him before she met him, believing he was a "sociopath". The mum-of-three admitted she had a "preconceived idea" about her now-husband, and was certain she wasn't going to like him. Of course, after meeting Made in Chelsea star Spencer, 36, she realised he was 'the one', but before that, Vogue, 39, had been enjoying the single life. Thankfully for Spencer, he made it out of the friend zone, and the couple married on Spencer's millionaire family's 10,000-acre Scottish estate in 2018. Vogue stunned her guests and fans in her off-white silk V-neck gown, a bespoke design by Paul Costello. Her groom Spencer wore a three-piece midnight-blue suit made by esteemed Mayfair tailor Tony Lutwyche. They now share three children: Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and three-year-old Otto. They welcomed their youngest in April 2022, and Vogue was pregnant with Theodore on their wedding day. In a new interview with the Sun, Vogue revealed her first impressions of the dad of her kids, confessing: "I kind of met him with a preconceived idea, and I was like, 'I'm not going to like him' because I thought he was a sociopath." Vogue soon changed her mind, adding: "But after I met him, I loved his personality straight away . . . he was so sound, but I was being really good at being single and I wanted to stay single, so I thought, 'He's going to be a really good friend' — that's the first thing I thought." The model and media personality had been single since ending her first marriage, which was to Westlife's Brian McFadden. But she knew from the start he wasn't "marriage material". In her new memoir, Vogue said she knew it was a "mistake" on the morning of her wedding. She wrote: "The morning of the wedding I felt very stressed and so anxious because deep down I knew I had made a mistake. After the wedding I tried to make things work.' Vogue added: "The relationship wasn't all terrible, we did have some great times too, and for the most part, he was good fun to be around. But he was not husband material. "It was me who called it in the end. I couldn't keep trying, it felt pointless… I'm not here to throw anyone under the bus, but there are things that went on in our relationship that will never be forgiven." Although she went on to enjoy the single life, she initially felt lost after she divorced the Westlife singer, who she was married to from 2012 to 2017. Speaking to Bryony Gordon on the The Life of Bryony podcast, she explained: I remember being divorced at 31 and thinking, I've ruined my life. "I am never going to have kids, I am never going to do what I always wanted to do. Then you see how your life actually starts to unfold – that's why it feels exciting to move into your forties.'
