Jeremy Allen White channels Bruce Springsteen in first trailer for ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere' biopic
Jeremy Allen White, best known for his Emmy-winning role in The Bear, steps into the shoes of legendary musician Bruce Springsteen in Deliver Me From Nowhere, the upcoming biopic that explores the making of Springsteen's 1982 album Nebraska. The first trailer for the film was released this week, offering a glimpse into White's intense transformation into the rock icon.
Directed by Scott Cooper, known for Crazy Heart, the film is based on Warren Zanes' book chronicling the deeply personal journey behind Nebraska, a stark and emotionally raw album that marked a turning point in Springsteen's career. Cooper, who previously led Jeff Bridges to an Oscar win for his role in Crazy Heart, directs a star-studded ensemble cast for the new project.
Joining White in the cast is Succession and The Apprentice actor Jeremy Strong, portraying longtime Springsteen manager Jon Landau. Stephen Graham plays Douglas Springsteen, the singer's father, while Paul Walter Hauser appears as engineer Mike Batlan. Odessa Young co-stars as Faye, a love interest, and Marc Maron takes on the role of producer Chuck Plotkin. The supporting cast also includes Johnny Cannizzaro as guitarist Steve Van Zandt, Harrison Gilbertson as Matt Delia, David Krumholtz as Columbia Records executive Al Teller, and Chris Jaymes as mastering engineer Dennis King.
Deliver Me From Nowhere is produced by 20th Century Studios, a division of Disney, in collaboration with Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson of the Gotham Group. Both Bruce Springsteen and Jon Landau are involved in the production, lending authenticity to the project.
The film joins a growing wave of musician biopics following in the footsteps of Elvis, Bohemian Rhapsody, and A Complete Unknown, with many garnering awards attention.

Chris Brown pleads not guilty to London nightclub assault charges

The substantial bail amount enabled him to begin his world tour earlier this month despite the looming legal case. The trial is set to begin on October 26, 2026. Until then, Brown will remain free under bail conditions while continuing to face serious legal scrutiny over the alleged violent incident.
