Shoppers rave over Next's 'showstopper' vase that enhances any hallway or windowsill
The ornate vase has been a huge hit with shoppers, with many saying it looks 'beautiful' in their home
Next is selling a "showstopper" vase that buyers claim looks "beautiful" in their homes. The vase 'looks amazing' when placed in the hall, upon the mantelpiece, or a windowsill. Some customers even say that the vase has gotten praise from guests, with one claiming they 'always receive compliments' on the "stunning" ornament.
The vase isn't cheap, though, retailing at £55. Yet, many positive reviews suggest customers feel it's money well spent. The Rockett St George Black Large Floral Large Vase for sale at Next is crafted from 100% stoneware. It stands 39cm tall, 34cm wide, and boasts a depth of 13cm.
Next describes the Rockett St George Black Large Floral Large Vase as an inspirational showpiece that adds a magnificent element to any home decor. It features an glossy, shiny black base that, according to Next, accentuates the elaborate floral pattern, making it "stand out", reports Nottinghamshire Live.
Next adds: "It mixes modern design with a vintage feel." The store finishes by saying: "This is sure to become a forever piece that will be passed down for generations to come."
For those in the market for a 'striking' vase to put in their home, there are many other alternatives to consider. Amazon lists a Large Black and Gold Floor Vase for £59.99. Dunelm offers the Palm Leaf Ceramic Vase at £25. At H&M, there's a Large Terracotta Vase on offer for £34.99, which is "designed to resemble a soft bouquet wrap".
So far, the Rockett St George Black Large Floral Vase by Next has earned impressive consumer praise, with twenty customer reviews logged. The feedback reveals nineteen glowing five-star ratings and just one four-star commendation, marking the lowest score received.
Despite overwhelmingly positive reactions, the fact that there isn't much negative feedback gives potential buyers little to go on. Although criticism is limited, some concerns were raised about the vase's 'heavy weight and size', which could be too cumbersome or challenging to integrate into their home decor for some people.
One happy customer, Dotty, said: "Love this range, excellent quality and design. I'll definitely buy more if you're looking for something different. I'd recommend." Another purchaser, Susan, said: "Looks far more expensive than it is. Elegant, beautiful vase. Visitors have all noticed it and liked it."
Linda said: "I just love it, it's fabulous. Looks more expensive than it was, it came packaged so well, to save breakages. Honestly, it's so much better than I expected. Others have come to my house and asked where I got it ... it's one of my favourite pieces in my house." Another reviewer said: "A beautiful statement vase. A really good size (quite big! ! ) but looks stunning."
Meanwhile, a different Linda put: "Even better than the picture. I have bought it for a Christmas present and it really is a show stopper." Helena added: "Stunning vase, it is so stylish and really is a great addition to my decor the colours are so vibrant and the glaze is lovely and shiny, the vase is very big. A great talking point and has been commented on by many visitors to my house."
She continued: "It is very robust and looks great in my hallway. I was a bit dubious about the size before I purchased it but it really is a great statement piece. I am very pleased with my purchase and could recommend to anyone."
Another satisfied customer wrote: "This is a beautiful stand out vase. The quality, style and generous size are beyond my expectations. I've received lots of compliments about the item. It's stunning. I would definitely recommend this vase if you're looking for something special."

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag reduced from £35 to £13
Amazon is offering the Bluetooth tracker that's the 'perfect travel companion' Bluetooth trackers are a must-have travel companion, letting users keep an eye on exactly where their luggage, handbag and even their keys are. Amazon has slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2, offering a fabulous 62% discount in time for shoppers heading off on their summer holidays. The gadget usually costs £34.99 and can now be purchased from the online giant for £13.20. This is the cheapest price around, with the SmartTag2 costing £20.40 when bought directly from Samsung, while Argos is selling it for £23.99. The tracker can be popped inside a handbag or clipped on to a suitcase, allowing travellers to follow their belongings via the app. It's worth noting, however, that the gadget is only compatible with Samsung Galaxy devices. The SmartTag2 offers up to 500 days of battery, with the handy Power Saving mode extending its lifespan by up to 40%. The device is built to withstand dust and water, making it a robust travel companion. If travellers cannot find their belongings, the tracker's Search Nearby feature provides intuitive step-by-step instructions via Compass View. There's also the Ring Your Tag function that makes the gadget audibly signal its whereabouts to help locate it quickly. If the item still cannot be located, fear not, as the SmartTag2 has a convenient Lost Mode. When this is activated, the Near Field Communication displays its owner's registered contact information on the smartphone of whoever finds it. The Apple AirTag is a similar tracking device for iPhone users. Amazon is currently offering a single tracker on sale for £28, while a four-pack costs £92. Currys is selling the CHIPOLO Bluetooth Item Finder on sale for £11.99. This gadget is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones. Over 7,300 Amazon shoppers have reviewed the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 to date, awarding it an overall score of 4.3 out of five. One impressed buyer wrote: "Outstanding simple piece of tech, effective and does exactly what it says on the tin… I use these on my keys, in my wallet and even in my car. Easy to locate using the app and an absolute lifesaver in the early morning panics of 'where are the keys?' "Helps add peace of mind for security and is very small to hide. Also helps locate where you left your car when parking. Overall, this is a fantastic piece of kit." Unfortunately one buyer was disappointed with the tracker, as they didn't realise it was only compatible with Samsung devices. They explained: "Never read anywhere this was only good for Galaxy phones. Unfortunately I bought it a few months ago in advance of a holiday, so I only just found it won't work with my Google Pixel phone even though it operates on Android." Someone else, however, is thrilled with the SmartTag2. They commented: "Perfect little tracker to keep an eye on belongings. I have one in my vehicle and also use one on my cat's collar. Battery life is also quite surprising. Location history etc. Fairly accurate, too."

Inside Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos's blended family... including his VERY private children
After a two-year long engagement, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are due to tie the knot next week - and when they do, their families will officially become blended. The Amazon founder, who's net worth is $215 billio n, welcomed four children with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, whom he married in 1993. The couple met while they working for the same investment management firm, D. E. Shaw & Co, and tied to knot a year before Bezos launched Amazon. They were together for 25 years before parting ways after his romance to Lauren was exposed, and they finalized their divorce in 2019. There is little known about Jeff and MacKenzie's four kids - three biological sons and a daughter they adopted from China - with all of them keeping a quiet profile despite their father's fame and fortune. Lauren, 55, on the other hand, welcomed a son, named Nikko Gonzalez, with footballer Tony Gonzalez in 2002 before splitting. She then walked down the aisle with Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell in 2005, and together, they had a son, named Evan Whitesell, in 2006 and a daughter, named Eleanor Whitesell, in 2008. They were together for more than a decade up until her affair with Jeff was brought to light in early 2019. With Lauren and Jeff's extravagant wedding plans in Venice, Italy, just days away, FEMAIL rounded up everything we know about their kids. Jeff and MacKenzie's eldest son Preston makes rare appearances with his father Jeff and MacKenzie's first child, a boy named Preston, was born in 2000. His name is a family moniker, with his father, grandfather and great grandfather having the middle name Preston. While Preston is rarely seen, he was snapped attending the Academy Awards with his dad in 2020. He was also spotted at the 2019 American Portrait Gala Preston reportedly attended Princeton University, as did both of his parents. He was also rumored to have completed a humanities and engineering degree from MIT, after Jeff was spotted at MIT's commencement ceremony in 2022. Jeff and MacKenzie share three other children together but they have shied away from the public eye The former also share two younger biological sons and an adopted daughter from China. However, the children's identifies are shrouded in mystery, with only Preston's name known to the public. The kids are rarely seen out or with their famous parental figures. One of the only times the Bezos bunch have been seen with their dad was almost 10 years ago at the Star Trek Beyond film premiere at Comic-Con International in San Diego in July 2016. Lauren has three children from previous relationships and her eldest son is a budding model Lauren's eldest son Nikko graduated from college in 2024 and is now a budding model. Her other kids Evan and Ella have opted to stay out of the spotlight so very little is known about them. In January 2023, Lauren spoke out about how she and her billionaire beau have blended their families, with her joking that she felt like they were the 'Brady Bunch' sometimes. 'On a typical Saturday, we hang out, we have dinner with the kids, which is always fun because you never know where the conversation is going to go with this many kids,' she told the Wall Street Journal. She also dished on co-parenting with her exes, specifically Tony, whom she branded as her 'best friend.' 'It wasn't always that way. There was friction [at the beginning]. But Tony and [his wife October "Tobie" Gonzalez] were at Thanksgiving with us [this year], and we're really good friends,' she explained. 'That took about five years, but we always communicated. I'm not saying that being best friends with your ex is the end-all be-all - but you do need to be able to communicate. 'I'm so proud of it. My son looks at me, and he's like, "I'm the luckiest boy in the world because I can have Thanksgiving with both my parents, and they don't have to be married."' She did not touch on her relationship with Patrick. What to expect from Lauren and Jeff's wedding The guest list is thought to have less than 200 people, with suspected guests including A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and even members of the Trump family. The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical center of Venice, as part of the multi-day-long extravaganza of celebrations. According to an insider, Jeff's $500 million superyacht, Koru, will be moored off the coast of San Georgio Maggiore island, which is home to the famous Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, a 16th century Benedictine church. They shared that the island is 'off-limits to visitors' from June 24 to June 29, with the mayor believing that the wedding will take place on the yacht - although The Misericodria, an iconic event space in Venice, has been booked out from June 26 to June 28. It's unclear if the space is related to their wedding, but the insider added that a private tender service is said to be taking guests from the island to the yacht. Separate sources recently told the Daily Mail that the festivities are expected to cost anywhere from $15 to $20 million.

Shoppers dub cooling blanket a 'game-changer during hot nights' amid sale
'I love it, it really cools you down on hot nights, my little girl has nabbed it from me now so I will have to buy a second one.' While the weather has been seen to fluctuate over the past few months, the nights are certainly warmer, which has caused many people to struggle with getting to sleep. And with a heatwave set to hit the country this weekend, many people are looking for ways to keep cool during the night. While fans can be a popular option, they can also be nosy and ultimately add an extra cost to your bills. For those looking for an alternative option, Amazon has dropped the price of a product that shoppers are dubbing a "game-changer". The Luxear Cooling Blanket comes in a variety of sizes, but the 220cm by 240cm edition has been given a price slash as part of a limited time deal. Normally retailing for £44.99, shoppers who struggle to sleep in the heat can now grab it for £38.24. Designed with Arc-Chill 3.0 Japanese technology, this cooling blanket is said to deliver a cool, calm, sweat-free night during the hot summer months. With a Q-Max 0.5, this blanket delivers a cool feeling when it is touched, which will help regulate the user's temperature. While there are different sizes available for shoppers, this edition is perfect for those who have a double or king size bed. Described as a super light and portable, this blanket can be taken on trips away in the car, hiking, or simply thrown over the sofa. The blanket also comes with moist absorption to avoid the formation of bacteria, and it is also said to be friendly for the skin and anti-allergenic. Additionally, this blanket is machine washable and it can be used all year round as one side features the cold material, while the other is made of 100 per cent cotton for a breathable and flexible blanket. Another popular cooling blanket available on Amazon is the Elegear Cooling Blanket. Currently down to £33.99 in a limited time deal (RRP £39.99), this blanket is said to be able to reduce the skin's temperature by two to five degrees as it is specifically designed for night sweats and hot sleepers. Alternatively, shoppers can save £10 on the Silentnight Restore Cooling Throw. Normally retailing for £45, shoppers can get this throw for £35 in a limited time deal. Made with innovative cooling fabrics, this product can be used as either a blanket or a duvet. For those worried about lack of sleep during the heatwave, Luxear's Cooling Blanket has become popular amongst customers as it currently boasts a 4.3 star rating. Many shoppers have praised the blanket for its cool touch and how it has improved their sleep. One happy shopper said: "I bought the Luxear Cooling Blanket for summer, and it's been a game-changer during hot nights. The Arc-Chill technology really works—this blanket keeps you cool and comfortable, even when the temperature rises. The fabric feels smooth and breathable, and I've noticed I sleep a lot better without overheating." While another five-star reviewer commented: "I love it, it really cools you down on hot nights, my little girl has nabbed it from me now so I will have to buy a second one. The blanket feels quite heavy, which is quite cosy too. Colour is nice, good value for money." However, a few shoppers had slight issues with the blanket, as one person said: "I wish this was a duvet cover instead of a blanket as it doesn't stay put on the bed. Lovely to feel the cooler side on these hot nights." While another person added: "Useful to help keep you cool in the heat but will eventually obviously stop being able to take the heat away from you so will warm up. Also not entirely sure how I'm going to wash it as it's already quite weighted so not sure how heavy it will be once wet!" On the flip side, a delighted shopper said: "Was a bit sceptical at first but honestly couldn't be happier, product is super soft and durable and actually slept really well with the arc-chill 3.0 would highly recommend." With a further person writing: "I was sceptical, but very pleased with the cooling properties of this blanket. I struggle to regulate my temperature, and during the recent warm weather this was an absolute godsend, particularly at night, as I cannot sleep without something over me, no matter how warm it is."
