Popular Front: Occupation uses starvation weapon as systematic pressure tool

Saba Yemen02-03-2025

Gaza - Saba:
The "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine" (one of the factions of the Palestine Liberation Organization) said that "the decision of the Zionist occupation to prevent the entry of humanitarian aid and close all crossings of the Gaza Strip and return trucks loaded with humanitarian supplies is a clear war crime committed against our Palestinian people, with direct American participation."
It added, in a statement received by "Quds Press" today, Sunday, that "this decision constitutes a blatant breach of the ceasefire, and reveals the occupation's intention to blackmail and evade entering the second stage, which obliges it to stop the war, withdraw completely, begin reconstruction, and restore life to Gaza."
The Popular Front continued by saying that "this criminal occupation did not stop at the policy of killing, destruction, breaching the ceasefire, and targeting safe civilians, even in areas classified as safe, but rather continues to use the weapon of starvation as a systematic tool of pressure and blackmail against our people, taking advantage of the American green light to continue this criminal policy."
It warned of "the serious repercussions of this decision on the already deteriorating humanitarian conditions, which have not seen any improvement even after the ceasefire decision, which exacerbates the suffering of our people in the besieged Strip."
It stressed that "the new American administration headed by Trump is completing what the previous administration started in financing the war of extermination and legitimizing the occupation's policies, but in a broad and direct manner, including the use of starvation as a weapon against our people in a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms."
The Popular Front called on the international community and Arab leaders at their upcoming summit next Tuesday to "take practical and immediate steps to pressure the Zionist occupation and the American administration to stop this humanitarian massacre that targets an entire people suffering under extermination, siege, and starvation."
It called on merchants in the Gaza Strip to "assume their national responsibilities by not raising prices and ensuring the availability of basic commodities at reasonable prices to support and enhance the steadfastness of citizens in the face of the repercussions of the closure."
It stressed "the need for tightening control by the competent authorities to prevent monopoly and ensure the arrival of goods at reduced prices, to alleviate the suffering of our people in light of the siege and systematic starvation, which will worsen with the occupation's decision."
She stressed that this decision "will not succeed in breaking the will, steadfastness and determination of our Palestinian people, and that all the criminal methods of the occupation and full American support will not deter our people from continuing their legitimate struggle until they achieve their full national rights."
It is noteworthy that the head of the Israeli occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, decided to stop the entry of all humanitarian aid into Gaza and close the crossings with the Strip.
This came during a meeting held yesterday evening headed by Netanyahu, where the decision was taken in coordination with the American administration, in the context of "Israel's" evasion of its commitment to the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
Netanyahu's office said in a statement on Sunday morning, "With the end of the first stage of the prisoner swap deal, and Hamas' rejection of Witkoff's proposal to continue the negotiations, which Israel agreed to, Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided to stop the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip as of this morning."

Yemen :Houthis vow to strike US ships if America joins Israel's war on Iran

Yemen's Houthi rebels vowed on Saturday to resume attacks on US ships if American forces join Israel's war on Iran. "In the event that the Americans are involved in the attack and aggression against Iran alongside the Israeli enemy, the armed forces will target their ships and warships in the Red Sea," the Houthis said in a statement. Last week, Yemeni security sources told The National that the rebels are considering resuming strikes on US targets in the Middle East and intensifying attacks on Israel in support of Iran. US President Donald Trump said last month the Iran-backed Houthis 'capitulated' and that America would stop strikes on the rebels after they agreed to cease attacking ships in the Red Sea. The Houthis are part of the so-called Axis of Resistance, an Iran-led network that includes Hamas in Palestine, Hezbollah in Lebanon and armed groups in Iraq, whose aim is to deter Israel from conducting military action and countering its influence in the region. Many of the groups have fought against Iran's enemies in their respective countries. The groups launched attacks on Israel as part of a support campaign for Hamas and the Palestinian people after the Gaza war broke out on October 7, 2023. But months of fighting with Israel, which holds clear military dominance, have eroded the operational capacity of the axis considerably. Hezbollah was once considered Iran's first line of defence against Israeli attacks, but strikes against the group last year killed its political and military leaders and largely destroyed its arsenal. Lebanese officials have urged Hezbollah not to respond to Israeli attacks on Iran. In Iraq, sources close to the government told The National this week that some of the most prominent militant groups have made it known that any US military intervention would trigger a response.2222222aq

President Al-Mashat: We will work to prevent any participation in aggression against Iran by all legitimate means

Sana'a - (Saba): His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that he will "direct the Foreign Ministry to send a memorandum to notify the United Nations of our observations of preparations and readiness by some member states to participate with the Israeli entity in its aggression against Iran." President Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "We will work to prevent any participation in the aggression against Iran by all legitimate means." He called on all Arab, Islamic, and peace-loving countries to make the same decision instead of waiting for us to target one country after another. He added, "We have every right to our decision, humanitarian, religious, and moral, and it is supported by international and regional conventions and Yemeni laws." President Al-Mashat pointed out that when countries abandon their responsibility to protect international peace and security and become supporters and accomplices of the aggressor in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, the solution lies in a strong and unified stance from all. He said, "The fire will reach every country if we do not all take action and stop the scheme of the arrogant powers to violate it." He pointed out that "any hostile act targeting any Islamic country will be opposed and confronted by us. This is our position, and we have previously announced it." His Excellency the President reiterated that America will not achieve anything new if it participates with the Israeli enemy entity in its aggression against Iran, except for its further involvement, and everyone will see that. He added, "We will direct the Humanitarian Operations Center to take the necessary measures in accordance with Yemeni law," stressing that anyone who supports or participates in Israel's aggression must pay the price for their decision. Iranian 'Cyber Support Front' announces attack on Israeli Weapons of mass destruction factory

Tehran – SABA: The Iranian 'Cyber Support Front' announced on Saturday that it had carried out a cyberattack on an Israeli factory involved in producing weapons of mass destruction. In a statement reported by Iran's Tasnim News Agency, the front said it had monitored and infiltrated the CR Casting / EXACT company for a long time—companies that have supported the Zionist criminals in the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction. The statement added: 'CR Casting and its affiliated factories are involved in precision metal casting and production of sensitive components for the military and defense industries, including companies like Elbit, Rafael, and IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries), which are associated with the Zionist entity. They manufacture parts used in offensive and defensive missiles, tanks, helicopters, and Israeli aircraft that are used in brutal attacks on civilians.' It continued: 'With support from freedom-fighting hackers around the world, the front managed to expose these factories and their inhumane activities, launching multiple cyberattacks to penetrate, disrupt their systems and production, and obtain their sensitive data.'
