
Salma Abu Deif Teams Up with Diab for First Time in TV Series "Beng Koli"

Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif is joining hands with actor-singer Diab for the first time in the TV series "Beng Koli".
The 15-episode drama is written by Mohamed Soliman Abdelmalek, directed by Nadine Khan, and produced by Abdallah Abu El Fettouh.
Abu Deif made her latest appearance on the small screen in the 2024 TV series "Aala Nesbet Moshahda" (Highest Viewership), and Diab in the TV series "Alby We Moftaho."
Moreover, Abu Deif is reuniting with Ahmed Dawood in 'Azma,' a film based on iconic author Mohamed Sadek's 2020 novel, which has been a bestseller for years. Rising actress Jessica Hossam Eldin is also set to star in the pic.
The adaptation marks the third collaboration between Abu Deif and Dawood after the 2020 TV series 'Zienhom' and the 2022 high-end Arabic remake of 'Suits'.
It is scripted by Sadek, who will make his feature directorial debut with the upcoming project, and is set to be produced by Hany Osama's The Producers.

The pic also stars Mohamed Mamdouh, Menna Shalaby, Karim Fahmy, Asmaa Galal, Karim Kassem, Mayan El Sayed, Hassan Malek, and Gihan El Shamashergy.
Prominent director Hady El Bagory and screenwriter Mohamed Sadek reunited for a sequel. The script is penned from a story by Sadek, who co-wrote the pic alongside Mohamed Galal.
Born on February 2, 1993, Abu Deif began her acting career at age 20 as an editorial model whilst attaining a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Misr International University.
She also studied at Stella Adler acting studio in New York for the summer Conservatory.
In 2017, Abu Deif made her first television appearance as an actress in two of the biggest TV Ramadan series, "Halawet EL Donia" and "Lah Totfea EL Shams".
Shortly after, Abu Deif made her first film appearance in the critically acclaimed Egyptian film 'Sheikh Jackson' that has taken part in numerous International Film Festivals around the world, garnering international attention for the impressive, yet controversial nature of the film.
In 2024, Abu Deif landed her first lead role in the TV series "Aala Nesbet Moshahda" (Highest Viewership).

50 Cent to Headline Morocco's Mawazine Festival 2025

Netflix original series ‘Catalog' starring Mohamed Farag to premiere on July 17
Actor Mohamed Farag is awaiting the premiere of his latest Netflix original series 'Catalog,' co-starring Reham Abdel-Ghafour. The series is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 17. It also stars Tara Emad, Khaled Kamal, Bayoumi Fouad, Samah Anwar, Sedky Sakhr, Donia Sami, Ali el-Bili, Retal Abdel-Aziz, and Ahmed Essam al-Sayed. It is written by Ayman Wattar, and directed by Walid el-Halfawy. Catalog tells the story of Youssef, a father who finds himself with the heavy responsibility of raising his two children alone after his wife, Amina, passes away. Having been separated from his children's daily lives for some time, he struggles to connect with them. Youssef is lost and confused until he finds a series of videos Amina recorded before her death, which include advice on raising children. These videos become his daily guide, helping him overcome the pain of loss, reconnecting him with his children, and revealing a side of himself he hadn't known before. Catalog was preceded by five Egyptian series produced by Netflix, including 'Paranormal,' which premiered in 2020; 'Drama Queen,' which premiered in 2021; and 'Echoes of the Past,' which premiered in late 2024. Owen Wilson Returning for "Meet the Parents 4"
Yara Sameh Owen Wilson is back in the Focker fold. The 'Stick' and 'Loki' actor joins fellow returning cast members Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller and Teri Polo, along with franchise newcomer Ariana Grande in this next installment. John Hamburg, who co-wrote all three prior films, wrote the screenplay and is set to direct the film. Hamburg also directed the last two episodes of Wilson's latest TV series 'Stick.' Universal will release the film theatrically on November 25, 2026. Paramount Pictures will co-produce and distribute internationally. While plot details for the fourth installment are kept under wraps, but, in a recent Variety cover story, producer Jane Rosenthal teased that 'Stiller is now the same age that [De Niro] was when we did the first one, and his kids have grown up, and they have to come home and meet the parents.' 'Meet the Parents' was critically acclaimed upon its release and grossed over $330 million at the global box office, becoming the seventh highest-grossing film globally in 2000. It spawned sequels 'Meet the Fockers' and 'Little Fockers,' which were also box office successes, culminating in a total franchise gross of over $1.13 billion worldwide. Rosenthal and De Niro will produce through Tribeca Productions. Jay Roach will produce through Delirious Media. Stiller and John Lesher will produce through Red Hour Films. Hamburg will produce through Particular Pictures.
