At a pre-release event in Hyderabad, the actor extended his gratitude to Sekhar Kammula for trusting him with Kuberaa. He said, 'Thank you so much for being you, and thank you for Kuberaa and for Deva. It truly means a lot to me – such a fantastic character you've given me. Thank you."
Kuberaa is described as a social thriller that revolves around the lives of a beggar and a CBI officer who find themselves entangled in a twisted tale involving a business tycoon's money. Rashmika is said to play a significant role in the story, which also features Jim Sarbh and Dilip Tahil.
Kubera is being bankrolled by Suniel Naran and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. It released in theatres on 20th June, 2025.
