Priya Bapat, a famous and known face in Marathi cinema, is making all the noise in the Hindi industry. Priya, who first appeared with a brief role in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S in Hindi cinema, has established herself as one of the renowned actors on OTT with shows like City of Dreams, Rafuchakkar, Raat Jawaan Hai, and more. Priya's recent project Costao has finally hit the OTT platform Zee5 Global. The actress is sharing the screen with the very versatile Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In a recent conversation with India.com, Priya opened up about her experience sharing the screen with Nawaz and how he is not a method actor but someone who has his own unique ways to work.
When Priya was asked about her experience working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and her learnings, the actress said, 'First of all, he is very cooperative. Not just that, he is extremely down to earth and humble. Maine ek bhi din Nawaz sir ko van mein baithe hue nahi dekha hai. Like, he would always come and sit with us on the set. He would rehearse multiple times, and then he would just do a marking rehearsal and go for a take, because he doesn't want to lose that naturality of the character and the scene. Also, he is very punctual. I haven't seen a day when Nawaz sir would get late.'
Take a look here:
While talking about her learnings, Priya mentioned that Nawaz is someone who likes to improvise a lot. He is not that actor who would learn the script. Instead, he will read it, improvise it, and go for a shot. The Rafuchakkar fame also opened up about Siddiqui not being a method actor. She said, 'As much as I have seen his work, I thought he would be a method actor. But I realised that he has a different process. His method process is unique and like I said, he is a very free-flowing kind of person. Aise nahi lagta ki yeh bohot pre-decide karke aaye hain .'
She further added, 'He is just very free-flowing and he also improvises a lot. So he has his own unique beauty. And, I think this is a very nice quality as it gives you honesty on screen. You don't really decide and then react in front of the screen, instead it's way more natural.'
Meanwhile, the screenplay of Costao has been crafted by Bhavesh Mandalia and Meghna Srivastava, while the film is jointly produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali, Shyam Sunder, Faizuddin Siddiqui, Bhavesh Mandalia, and Sejal Shah, under the banners of Bhanushali Studios, Bombay Fables Motion Pictures, and Side Hero Entertainment.

When Anushka Sharma shared her and Virat Kohli's parenting mantra: 'It's important for children to…'

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli stand out as one of India's most cherished celebrity couples, not only for their enduring romance but also for their thoughtful approach to family life and parenting. Their journey together, which began in 2013 during a commercial shoot, quickly captivated fans with their natural chemistry both on and off screen. The couple tied the knot in a picturesque ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, in December 2017. Since then, their family has blossomed with the arrival of their daughter Vamika in January 2021 and their son Akaay in February 2024. 'It's a family unit, not just Mum and Dad duties' In a throwback interview with Vogue, Anushka spoke honestly about what kind of parents she and Virat aim to be. She said, 'We don't see it as mum and dad duties, but as a family unit. For us, it's important that our child be raised with a very balanced outlook. In Virat's case, he plays around the year. What becomes important is the time we spend together as a family.' Setting the right example Talking more about how children observe and learn from their parents, Anushka said, 'Times have changed. It's important for children to look at parents—they learn from you. And there is a sense of normalcy that both of us do work. Of course, one will have to manage things differently and more efficiently to work.' Choosing privacy over popularity While many celebrity couples post about their children on social media, Anushka and Virat have chosen a different path. They rarely share photos of their kids and make a clear effort to keep their family life private. Anushka explained their decision, saying, 'We've thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye—we don't plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it's a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It's hard enough for adults to deal with it. It's going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through.' On the work front, Anushka was last seen in a cameo in the OTT film 'Qala'. Since then, she's been enjoying motherhood and focusing on her family life. Salman Khan Reveals Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Inspired His Look In Tere Naam

Mumbai: Even after two decades, 'Tere Naam' remains one of Salman Khan's most memorable films -- not just for its emotional story but also for his iconic hairstyle. Now, Salman has revealed something surprising about that very look. In the first episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show' (Season 3), the 59-year-old actor shared that his hairstyle in Tere Naam was actually inspired by none other than the former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. "Ye Tere Naam ka jo look hai, woh actually inspired tha Abdul Kalam saab se," Salman said during the chat with host Kapil Sharma. (My hairstyle in Tere Naam was inspired by Abdul Kalam Sir.) He also mentioned that Rahul Roy had a similar hairstyle before, but for Tere Naam, he imagined a small-town character who would have long hair. "I thought that small-town heroes always had long hair. All the old-school heroes had it too - that's where the inspiration came from," he added. Directed by the late Satish Kaushik, Tere Naam was released in 2003 and starred Salman as Radhe and Bhumika Chawla as Nirjala. It was a remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu, which originally starred actor Vikram. Though the film received mixed responses from audiences, it was remembered for Salman's intense performance and its music. The film also marked Bhumika Chawla's debut in Hindi cinema. During the show, Salman also opened up about a recent incident in which a woman managed to sneak into Salman Khan's home at Galaxy Apartments. The topic came up when Kapil jokingly asked him about fans showing up at his residence with suitcases. Salman confirmed that something like that had indeed happened recently. "Yes, something like that recently happened. There were security guards outside. A woman told them she wanted to head up to the fourth floor, and she entered. She rang the doorbell, and our servant opened the door. The servant was shocked because the lady said, 'Salman called me over.' Obviously, the servant saw her and was sure I definitely didn't call her. She was a fan, so she was escorted out," said the 'Sikandar' actor.
