The second-seeded Boston Celtics and the third-seeded New York Knicks play Game 4 of a best-of-7, Eastern Conference semifinals series Monday. The Knicks lead the series 2-1. Tip-off from Madison Square Garden is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's NBA odds around the Celtics vs. Knicks odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
Regular-season series: Celtics swept 4-0
After losing the first 2 games of the series in Boston, the Celtics bounced back with a 115-93 win at the Knicks in Saturday's Game 3, covering as 5.5-point favorites with the Under (209) cashing. F Jayson Tatum finished with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and G Payton Pritchard tallied a team-high 23 points off the bench. Tatum and Pritchard each knocked down 5 3-pointers, helping the Celtics shoot 20-for-40 (50.0%) from beyond the arc.
Knicks G Jalen Brunson had a game-high 27 points and C Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds in Saturday's loss. The Knicks were 5-for-25 (20.0%) from 3-point range and hit 68.6% (24-for-35) of their free throws -- though that was partially because C Mitchell Robinson (6 points, 8 rebounds) was fouled intentionally and went 4-for-12 from the line.
New York is 2-1 against the spread (ATS) vs. Boston in this series, while the Under is 2-0-1.

Celtics at Knicks picks and predictions
Prediction
Celtics 101, Knicks 100
The Celtics (-250) are the more talented team and will likely win again Monday, but their ML is overpriced coming off a blowout win.
PASS on the ML.
The Knicks have covered 3 of the last 4 head-to-head meetings, dating back to the regular season, while the Celtics are just 3-4 ATS in their last 7 playoff games. Boston will probably win straight up, but laying 6.5 is too high of a number vs. New York, which is 19-14 ATS this season after a loss, according to TeamRankings.com.
BET KNICKS +6.5 (-110).
The Knicks have been held to 93 points or fewer in 2 of the 3 games in this series, with the Under going 2-0-1. New York will likely bring more defensive intensity following a blowout loss in Game 3, but don't expect its offense to drastically improve.
BET UNDER 208.5 (-110).

Sauce Gardner Speaks Out On Jets' Contract Talks
Sauce Gardner Speaks Out On Jets' Contract Talks originally appeared on Athlon Sports. FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- It is common for players eligible for a long-term extension with their team to hold out of practice until a deal is reached. Advertisement That hasn't happened with the New York Jets and their young studs, though. All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner and wide receiver Garrett Wilson are eligible for long-term extensions this season. Both are key building blocks for the young Jets under head coach Aaron Glenn. Both were in attendance throughout offseason workouts. While stars around the league, such as Washington's Terry McLaurin, Cincinnati's Trey Hendrickson, and Pittsburgh's T.J. Watt, were all absent from mandatory minicamp, the Jets had their young stars in attendance. There was a reason for that, according to Gardner. "I want to win, I want to change the organization, and I want to be a part of changing the organization," Gardner said on Thursday. Advertisement New York has navigated this offseason with as few distractions as possible. This has allowed them to operate "in the shadows," as Glenn has previously coined it. The next step, though, is locking down their young talent. Both Gardner and Wilson sent a clear message with perfect attendance this offseason. They do not want to be distractions to the team; they just want to be paid their worth and be a part of the changing culture Glenn wants to build. By participating in offseason workouts, the two young stars have essentially operated in good faith that a deal will eventually be made this offseason. And it certainly sounds like that is going to happen. Jets Receiver Picks Bad Time To Be In 'Catch-Up Mode'
Jets Receiver Picks Bad Time To Be In 'Catch-Up Mode' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. One thing we know about Aaron Glenn's regime with the New York Jets is that he isn't mucking around - he means business in his first NFL offseason. Advertisement For rookies and veterans alike, everyone starts from square one as Glenn looks to mold this Jets team into one he thinks can win playing his way. And to do that, players who might be seen as being on the roster bubble have to perform, and for receiver Malachi Corley, he hasn't gotten off to the best of starts under the new management. Having already sat out considerable time at minicamp and prior, Corley is swimming against the tide to make an impression in a receiver room that has spots up for grabs. And receivers coach Shawn Jefferson had a true, yet pointed message to Malachi as training camp comes into focus next month. Advertisement "My old coach, Bill Parcells, used to say the first thing you need to be is you need to be available," Jefferson said via ESPN. "He's missed some time, and there's a learning curve here, so he's in catch-up mode right now." Vincent Carchietta-Imagn Images Catch-up mode isn't ideal. Yes, Corley only has one NFL season under his belt, but the third-round pick only had three receptions for 16 yards in nine games (one start) and played just 83 snaps on offense all season. Keep in mind that it was with a Jets offense that struggled to do anything right. So Corley has it all in front of him in 2025 if he is to make the impact that Glenn and coordinator Tanner Engstrand want. Advertisement But out of all the abilities Corley has, right now, he doesn't have the best one - availability. Jets' Mason Taylor Earmarked For Pro Bowl Career Predicts Insider
Jets' Mason Taylor Earmarked For Pro Bowl Career Predicts Insider originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The New York Jets offense under Tanner Engstrand will be an interesting watch with Justin Fields, Garrett Wilson, and Breece Hall as the "big" trio. Advertisement But one knock on the offense since the beginning of Aaron Glenn's tenure has been the lack of weapons for Fields outside of Wilson. Enter tight end Mason Taylor, who was drafted in the second round and is expected to develop into one of Fields' trusted targets. Granted, that is providing he can show that he can be that during training camp, with Jeremy Ruckert and Stone Smartt seen as his competition. But for Fox Sports' Rob Rang, in naming a rookie who could be a franchise star for all 32 teams, in New York's case, it is Taylor, with a resemblance to two-time Pro Bowler Mickey Shuler. "Perhaps some of the reason why the Jets have struggled developing a young quarterback in recent years is their lack of a "security blanket" at tight end," Rang writes. "Taylor has some of the surest hands of any pass-catcher in this class, providing an immediate boost to a franchise that hasn't produced a Pro Bowler at TE since Mickey Shuler … in 1988." Mason Taylor And The JetsBy Tony Fisher Shuler played 12 years with the Jets and totaled 4,819 yards and 37 touchdowns, so that is the bar Taylor has to reach. Two Pro Bowl selections in 1986 and 1988, Shuler was quite the weapon. Advertisement Now, it is up to Taylor to try to emulate that. Of course, we don't want to put too much on his plate, but Mason has all the tools to develop into a security blanket for Fields, and based on the rest of New York's weapons outside of Wilson, Justin might need it. Is there a Pro Bowl in Taylor's career? It sure would be nice.
