AI Pro University (AIPU) Secures Series A Funding and Announces $1 Million Expansion Into Custom AI Tools for Education

Empowering creators and entrepreneurs with innovative AI solutions.
FLORIDA, FL, UNITED STATES, June 9, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- AI Professionals University, commonly known as AI Pro University (AIPU), announced today that it has successfully completed its Series A funding round. Under the leadership of visionary founder Sam Blake, also known by his full name Samuel Stewart Blake, AIPU plans to invest an additional $1 million this year into expanding its educational platform and developing proprietary AI tools for students and business owners worldwide.
This milestone cements AI Pro University as a fast-growing force in the AI education space—offering comprehensive, beginner-friendly certification programs, hands-on chatbot training, and real-world income-producing AI applications.
From Certification to Customization: The Next Phase of AIPU
While most online courses focus on theory or generic content, AI Professionals University (AIPU) is taking a radically different approach by enabling users to build real businesses with AI. With over 14,000 certified students and counting, AIPU's flagship ChatGPT Certification Program has become a top choice for freelancers, creators, consultants, and agencies eager to integrate automation, outreach, and content creation tools into their workflows.
Founder Sam Blake, a performance marketing expert who has spent over $50 million in paid media and helped scale some of the internet's most successful campaigns, stated:
'Our vision isn't just to educate. It's to empower. With Series A completed, our goal is to reinvest into the platform to make it the most actionable and profitable AI training environment in the world.'
What's Coming Next: AI Tools Built For Creators and Consultants
The newly raised capital will be used for both platform development and tool creation. As part of this year's roadmap, AIPU will launch two major proprietary software tools:
1. AI Ad Generator – A web-based app that helps entrepreneurs create fully-optimized ad creatives with just a few clicks. It uses prompt engineering, ad psychology, and machine learning to generate headlines, hooks, and image suggestions instantly.
2. Ad Copy Generator – A tool that combines real-time marketing trends with AI fine-tuning to produce world-class Facebook, Google, and TikTok ad copy tailored to a user's niche.
These tools will be available exclusively to VIP members of AI Pro University, offering a new layer of strategic value beyond traditional certifications.
Why Sam Blake Created AIPU
Samuel Stewart Blake, who has been described as one of the most forward-thinking voices in the AI and marketing community, built AI Pro University to solve two core problems:
1. Most AI training programs are either too technical or too theoretical.
2. There is a massive gap between learning AI and earning with AI.
Blake, who comes from a background in advertising and direct response copywriting, realized that millions of people wanted to leverage AI to build businesses, automate workflows, or sell high-value services—but didn't know where to start. So he built a system that teaches exactly that—step-by-step, results-driven, and income-focused.
Results That Speak Volumes
AI Professionals University has certified thousands of students through its flagship 7-day program, giving them access to:
• Over 500+ training lessons
• 99 automation bots
• 17 pre-built client-ready chatbots
• An ever-growing vault of templates, prompts, and marketing frameworks
According to internal survey data, over 80% of students report using what they learned to automate at least one process in their business—and nearly 50% report gaining clients, landing jobs, or launching side hustles within 30 days of completing the program.
Built For the Future
With the rise of generative AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, and Gemini, the need for structured education and applied training is greater than ever. AIPU is positioning itself as a 'next-gen trade school' for AI talent—providing the kind of real-world instruction that institutions and free YouTube content simply can't offer.
Some of the core areas covered at AIPU include:
• AI Prompt Engineering
• Custom GPT bot development
• Automated client acquisition
• Niche-specific chatbot design
• Lead gen workflows
• Organic and paid traffic automation
Additionally, a new AI Pro University Mobile App is scheduled for release in Q4 2025 to give members access to tools, bots, and training on the go.
Why Investors Are Paying Attention
The Series A funding was led by private equity investors who see AI Pro University as more than just an education platform—it's a business enablement engine.
According to one of the lead investors (name undisclosed):
'AIPU is building not just the future of AI education—but the infrastructure for AI-powered income generation. That's the real opportunity.'
The team now includes over 25 professionals and private contractors, with plans to double engineering and support staff in the next 12 months.
The Road Ahead
In addition to releasing its Ad Generator and Ad Copy Generator, AIPU plans to:
• Launch certification upgrades in automation, marketing, and chatbot sales
• Expand its affiliate program
• Release a Marketplace of AI bots students can customize and resell
• Host live AI masterclasses and mentorship sessions for VIP members
This expansion reflects AIPU's core philosophy: AI is not the future—it's now. And those who take action today will shape the world tomorrow.

OpenAI's Sam Altman Shocked ‘People Have a High Degree of Trust in ChatGPT' Because ‘It Should Be the Tech That You Don't Trust'

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman made remarks on the first episode of OpenAI's new podcast regarding the degree of trust people have in ChatGPT. Altman observed, 'People have a very high degree of trust in ChatGPT, which is interesting, because AI hallucinates. It should be the tech that you don't trust that much.' This candid admission comes at a time when AI's capabilities are still in their infancy. Billions of people around the world are now using artificial intelligence (AI), but as Altman says, it's not super reliable. ChatGPT and similar large language models (LLMs) are known to 'hallucinate,' or generate plausible-sounding but incorrect or fabricated information. Despite this, millions of users rely on these tools for everything from research and work to personal advice and parenting guidance. Altman himself described using ChatGPT extensively for parenting questions during his son's early months, acknowledging both its utility and the risks inherent in trusting an AI that can be confidently wrong. Altman's observation points to a paradox at the heart of the AI revolution: while users are increasingly aware that AI can make mistakes, the convenience, speed, and conversational fluency of tools like ChatGPT have fostered a level of trust more commonly associated with human experts or close friends. This trust is amplified by the AI's ability to remember context, personalize responses, and provide help across a broad range of topics — features that Altman and others at OpenAI believe will only deepen as the technology improves. Yet, as Altman cautioned, this trust is not always well-placed. The risk of over-reliance on AI-generated content is particularly acute in high-stakes domains such as healthcare, legal advice, and education. While Altman praised ChatGPT's usefulness, he stressed the importance of user awareness and critical thinking, urging society to recognize that 'AI hallucinates' and should not be blindly trusted. The conversation also touched on broader issues of privacy, data retention, and monetization. As OpenAI explores new features — such as persistent memory and potential advertising products — Altman emphasized the need to maintain user trust by ensuring transparency and protecting privacy. The ongoing lawsuit with The New York Times over data retention and copyright has further highlighted the delicate balance between innovation, legal compliance, and user rights. AI Startup Thinking Machines Lab Raises $2 Billion at $10 Billion Valuation with No Product or Revenue

Thinking Machines Lab, a new artificial intelligence startup founded by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, has secured $2 billion in seed funding. The six-month-old company is now valued at $10 billion, making this one of the largest early-stage funding rounds in Silicon Valley history. Confident Investing Starts Here: Easily unpack a company's performance with TipRanks' new KPI Data for smart investment decisions Receive undervalued, market resilient stocks right to your inbox with TipRanks' Smart Value Newsletter Despite having no product, revenue, or public roadmap, the company attracted backing from top-tier investors. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with support from Conviction Partners and other firms that bet on the future of AI. The raise reflects a high level of conviction in Murati's leadership and team, many of whom are former researchers and engineers from OpenAI, Meta (META), and Mistral. Secrecy Is Key Thinking Machines is currently operating in full stealth mode. Its team of roughly 30 people is focused on developing customizable, general-purpose AI systems. According to investor sources and early descriptions, the company aims to build agent-based AI that is more understandable and controllable than existing models. It also plans to support open-source safety research, a direction that appeals to both developers and policymakers who are closely watching the space. The funding comes amid broader uncertainty in the tech market, with many startups struggling to secure capital at scale. However, investor interest in generative AI remains strong. Deals like this suggest that capital continues to flow to highly technical teams with track records, even in the absence of revenue or user traction. Murati's Role in OpenAI Murati played a key role in launching ChatGPT and GPT-4 while at OpenAI. Her move to start Thinking Machines signals a shift toward independent AI labs led by high-profile operators. Several of these labs have chosen to stay in stealth while working on core infrastructure and new training approaches, rather than releasing public demos early. The company has not shared a launch timeline or commercial plans. For now, it remains one of the most closely watched stealth ventures in the AI ecosystem. Its $2 billion seed round stands out not just for the amount raised, but for what it says about investor confidence in experienced technical founders.

Apple is reportedly considering buying Perplexity AI in iPhone maker's biggest-ever acquisition

Apple is reportedly considering its most ambitious acquisition yet: AI startup Perplexity, whose AI-driven search engine and chatbot are among the leading ChatGPT alternatives with around 15 million users. According to a new Bloomberg report this week, Apple's head of mergers and acquisitions, Adrian Perica, has been in talks with services SVP Eddy Cue and the company's top executives about a potential offer. Discussions are still in a very early stage, and Apple has yet to make a bid, but executives have met with Perplexity several times over the past few months, Bloomberg reports. Another possibility is a team-up with Perplexity, rather than an acquisition. The ultimate goal would be to integrate Perplexity's tech into an AI-based search engine or use it to make Siri smarter now that Apple's planned AI revamp for its assistant has been pushed into 2026. Similar to ChatGPT Search, Perplexity is a cross between a traditional search engine and an AI assistant. It uses large language models to comb the web to answer user queries in a conversational way, similar to interacting with a knowledgable assistant. It's also built with cross-platform accessibility in mind, so users can access its AI-powered search and assistant features on a wide range of devices. Acquiring Perplexity could be a strategic fallback for Apple if regulators force the company to end its partnership with Google. With Perplexity under its belt, Apple could accelerate the development of its own AI-powered search engine across the best iPhones, helping it close the gap with competitors like Google and Meta in the AI race. It couldn't come at a better time too. Bloomberg reported on Friday that Meta tried to scoop up Perplexity first earlier this year before moving ahead with Scale AI. At WWDC 2025, Apple was cagey about a concrete timeline for the full rollout of Apple Intelligence upgrades for Siri. It's quickly becoming clear that Apple need some outside help bringing its intended AI features to market, and Perplexity could fill that role. If a deal is reached, it'd be the largest in Apple's history. Perplexity is valued at around $14 billion, a figure that dwarfs Apple's most significant deal to date: buying Beats for $3 billion back in 2014.
