K.d. lang auctioning off signed vinyls, magazines to celebrate Ingénue's anniversary
Country star k.d. lang is celebrating the 33rd anniversary of her album Ingénue by auctioning off rare items to the public.
Teaming up with auction website the Realest, the k.d. lang legacy auction is giving fans the chance to bid on collectibles including a Shadowland signed vinyl, Absolute Torch and Twang signed vinyl, magazines, posters and more.
"For the first time, fans and collectors have the opportunity to own rare artifacts from k.d. lang's personal collection — including award plaques, signed memorabilia, rare fan newsletters and behind-the-scenes artifacts," the auction house shared on Instagram. "Each piece offers an intimate glimpse into the career of an artist who redefined country, pop and jazz while breaking barriers for LGBTQ+ visibility in music."
Among the items is a signed 1993 issue of Vanity Fair with k.d. lang and model Cindy Crawford on the cover.
In 2023, Crawford shared the famous image on Instagram, writing that "it was considered a bit risqué at the time" for challenging gender stereotypes, but that it was "still one of my favourite cover shoots [and] I'm so proud to have been part of it."
Ingénue is lang's second solo album, containing the singles Constant Craving and Miss Chatelaine. Constant Craving won a Grammy in 1993 for best female pop vocal performance.
Last year, lang was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. She reunited with her band, the Reclines, to perform Big Boned Gal.

Brown did not enter pleas on the additional counts and was ordered to return to court July 11 to face those charges after wrapping up the European leg of his world tour. His trial was scheduled for Oct. 26 2026. The singer of 'Go Crazy,' 'Run It,' and 'Kiss Kiss' was released last month on a 5 million-pound ($6.75 million) bail, which allowed him to start his 'Breezy Bowl XX' tour earlier this month.
