The investigator becomes the investigated.
Authorities in Detroit searched the home of an Emmy-winning television reporter who co-hosts a podcast with a Los Angeles Rams player's wife following alleged sexual misconduct.
3 Television reporter Hank Winchester's home was searched by authorities following reports of alleged unwanted sexual advances with a man during a massage.

Hank Winchester, an investigative reporter at the NBC-affiliated WDIV Local 4 station and host of HelpMeHank, is married to Oakland County Circuit Judge Jacob Cunningham, according to Winchester's Instagram. The two also share a young daughter.
Beverly Hills Police searched his home alongside the Oakland County Sheriff's Office while executing a search warrant related to alleged unwanted sexual advances Winchester made toward a man during a massage, as reported by Fox 2.
Winchester also co-hosts 'The Morning After' podcast with Kelly Stafford, who is married to LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. The show occasionally features high-profile guests employed by media powerhouses like Access Hollywood and ESPN.

Before joining the Rams, Matthew Stafford played for the Detroit Lions from 2009 to 2020. Winchester has been close with the entire family for years, he wrote in a farewell to the Staffords when they moved to LA in 2021.
Winchester was also placed on administrative leave as a result of the 'external investigation,' WDIV Vice President Bob Ellis wrote in a statement.

Todd Flood, Winchester's attorney, is confident the probe will flop.
'Hank has spent decades bringing truth to our community and fighting for our citizens. Because he holds a high-profile position in our community, that can at times generate false accusations. This investigation will end where it began – nowhere,' he wrote.
No charges have been filed. The investigation is still ongoing.
Winchester isn't the only media figure to find himself facing similar allegations in recent months.
In April, a disgraced weatherman in Virginia was arrested after allegedly making a sex tape and using it to extort his victims.
Last year, a Louisiana television anchor resigned after he was caught sexting who he thought was a 15-year-old girl but was in reality a vigilante trio dubbed the 'predator hunters.'

He chose the Ducks over the likes of Alabama and USC, where he also took official visits. 'I have that great time with [Oregon defensive backs coach Chris Hampton] and the coaching staff,' Washington told ESPN. 'I loved the way they treated me out there. My relationship with them has been going the right way ever since I started talking to them.' 4 Jett Washington posing in an Oregon uniform on a visit to the program. His mother, Sharia Washington (Bryant's oldest sister), was a volleyball player at Temple. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing in at 210 pounds, Washington has some basketball-like size, which he not only utilizes on the football field. Like his uncle, Washington also has talent on the basketball court, as he helped lead Bishop Gorman to a second straight Nevada Class 5A state basketball title earlier this year. Washington was close with both Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, who were among the nine people tragically killed in a 2020 helicopter crash in California. 4 Jett Washington as a child smiling for a photo with his uncle, Kobe Bryant. Oregon Ducks / Instagram Washington wears No. 2 on the basketball court, just as Gianna did, and would go to his uncle for advice often. 'Jett was Kobe's guy,' Washington's father said. 'Kobe used to tell me, 'I need him every summer to come work with me.' He would give Jett words of wisdom. Anytime Jett would play in something, he'd send his uncle a clip, and Kobe would make a comment. Kobe would send him back emojis or tell him to make this adjustment or that adjustment. They were close.'

Chris Brown pleads not guilty in London nightclub assault case as U.K. court sets trial date

Grammy-winning R&B star Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to one charge connected to his alleged beating of a music producer in a London nightclub in 2023. The 'Kiss Kiss' singer, 36, appeared Friday in London's Southwark Crown Court for his arraignment where he pleaded not guilty to one count of attempting to unlawfully and maliciously cause grievous bodily harm with intent. 'Not guilty ma'am,' he responded when asked how he pleaded to the count. Prosecutors accuse Brown of attacking music producer Amadou 'Abe' Diaw with a bottle of tequila at Tape London, a nightclub, in February 2023. The accusations against Brown echo allegations from a civil lawsuit Diaw filed in Los Angeles against the musician in October 2023. He sued Brown for assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, claiming in court documents that the singer 'brutally assaulted' him by 'beating him over the head' and that he 'continued to ruthlessly stomp' on him as he lay unconscious on the nightclub floor after the bottle attack. London police arrested Brown in May on suspicion of the single bodily harm charge, but in a subsequent indictment, prosecutors added charges for assault causing actual bodily harm and having an offensive weapon, a bottle. Brown did not enter pleas on those additional counts but is due back in court in July. The 'Under the Influence' artist was released from police custody in mid-May after posting $6.7 million bail. His arrest initially posed a threat to his Breezy Bowl tour, which kicked off June 8 in Amsterdam. In an Instagram story shared after his release, Brown informed fans he would be going from 'cage to stage.' The singer's trial is set for Oct. 26, 2026. A representative for Brown did not immediately respond to The Times' request for comment. Musician and Brown friend Omololu Akinlolu ((who performs as HoodyBaby), 39, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm for his alleged involvement in the 2023 incident and pleaded not guilty during Friday's hearing. The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Vikings' J.J. McCarthy is going to have his hands full against the AFC's best in Week 10

The #Ravens secondary is stacked:😈 CB: Marlon Humphrey😈 CB: Jaire Alexander😈 CB: Nate Wiggins😈 CB: Chidobe Awuzie😈 S: Kyle Hamilton😈 S: Malaki Starks The Minnesota Vikings' offense is designed to put their new starting quarterback in every position to succeed in 2025 and beyond. J.J. McCarthy is bound to be tested time and again in his first year as a starter with the Vikings, but both he and the team remain optimistic. Will there be hiccups along the way? Of course, every rookie and veteran quarterback has them. Despite that, some tests will be tougher than others, and after a recent free agent signing, one of them is now staring the Vikings in the face on their 2025 regular season schedule. In Week 10, the Minnesota Vikings will face off against the Baltimore Ravens and their MVP-winning quarterback, Lamar Jackson. While the defense will have their hands full with Jackson, McCarthy will have his hands full with a loaded Ravens secondary. The team had a great unit before but over the weekend they added former All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander to the group. Four homegrown first-round picks are in that group of the Ravens, with free agent signings making up the rest. They have always had an eye for talent to build up their secondary and now they may be the toughest test on the Vikings schedule in 2025.
