Islamic Jihad Mourns Hamas Spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou

Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement mourned the death of Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou on Thursday, following a bombing that targeted his tent in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
Jihad said in a statement, "The enemy's deliberate targeting of the political and media cadres of the resistance movements reflects the enemy's failure to achieve any military gains on the ground, which has prompted it to commit massacres against civilians, including the targeting of children and women."
It continued, "The martyrdom of the leaders and mujahideen in the ranks of the resistance among their people is a source of pride for our Palestinian people and reflects the most wonderful epics of steadfastness and perseverance in confronting the occupation.
The blood of the leader al-Qanou will remain a beacon illuminating the path of resistance and jihad until victory and liberation are achieved."

Hezbollah was once considered Iran's first line of defence against Israeli attacks, but strikes against the group last year killed its political and military leaders and largely destroyed its arsenal. Lebanese officials have urged Hezbollah not to respond to Israeli attacks on Iran. President Al-Mashat: We will work to prevent any participation in aggression against Iran by all legitimate means

Sana'a - (Saba): His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that he will "direct the Foreign Ministry to send a memorandum to notify the United Nations of our observations of preparations and readiness by some member states to participate with the Israeli entity in its aggression against Iran." President Al-Mashat said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "We will work to prevent any participation in the aggression against Iran by all legitimate means." He called on all Arab, Islamic, and peace-loving countries to make the same decision instead of waiting for us to target one country after another. He added, "We have every right to our decision, humanitarian, religious, and moral, and it is supported by international and regional conventions and Yemeni laws." President Al-Mashat pointed out that when countries abandon their responsibility to protect international peace and security and become supporters and accomplices of the aggressor in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, the solution lies in a strong and unified stance from all. He said, "The fire will reach every country if we do not all take action and stop the scheme of the arrogant powers to violate it." Gaza – SABA: The Palestinian Ahrar Movement stated on Saturday that 'the crimes of settlers in the West Bank and Quds are a continuation of the extermination-based Judaization policy adopted by the extremist occupation government,' stressing that 'the attacks, which coincide with a suspicious escalation in settlement activity and expansion in the occupied West Bank and Qud, are part of a de facto implementation of annexation and silent displacement plans without an official declaration.' In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement said: 'What is happening in the cities and camps of the West Bank and Jerusalem — including the complete closure imposed by the Nazi Zionist occupation, alongside the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza — is a clear attempt to erase Palestinian identity, break the will of our people, and forcibly displace them. The occupation is tightening its grip on our people in the West Bank and Jerusalem through all possible means, including restricting their movement between villages, especially in Jenin and Tulkarm camps, and closing the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers. This is aimed at forcing our people to leave their homeland, and it constitutes a full-fledged war crime under international humanitarian law.' The movement emphasized that 'the attacks by extremist settlers will not deter our people from clinging to their land and rights. Rather, they will serve as a motivation for further resilience and steadfastness, and as a driving force for escalating confrontation and embracing resistance as a strategic choice to liberate all of Palestine.'
