Joe Rogan teased a possible future A-list interview during a recent episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
The Context
Rogan began his career as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s, before becoming a sitcom star in the 1990s with roles on Hardball and NewsRadio. The 57-year-old later hosted the stunt reality show Fear Factor, and today, he has one of the most popular podcasts in the world with The Joe Rogan Experience. For years, the program—which was launched in 2009—has been at the top of Spotify's podcast charts. At the time of publication, he's completed 2,327 episodes.
What To Know
On Thursday's episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan spoke with comedian Jimmy Carr. At one point during the show, their conversation turned to the topic of Oasis.
"Adam Eagan. He's the best," Rogan said, referring to the talent coordinator he often works with at his Comedy Mothership club in Austin, Texas.
"He's in Hawaii this week, I'm missing him," Carr responded.
"Oh, well he'll be back," Rogan assured, before Carr added: "He's coming to London to see Oasis with me."

UFC commentator Joe Rogan announces the fighters during a ceremonial weigh-in for UFC 264 at the T-Mobile Arena on July 9, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The British rock band Oasis rose to fame in 1994 with their hit debut album Definitely Maybe and later produced such hits as "Wonderwall," "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back in Anger." Band members, brothers Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher were infamous for their constant feuding. And after years of tension, they're reuniting in a highly anticipated tour beginning in July. Their tour announcement in 2024 came just one day before the anniversary of their split on August 28, 2009.
"Oh really? Oh wow, that should be incredible," Rogan said of their upcoming tour. "Don't they hate each other? They hate each other but they're touring together. The Gallaghers."
Carr hinted that "there's an amount of money you can put down" to put those differences aside, before suggesting: "You should get Noel on the show."
Newsweek reached out to Noel Gallagher's representative via email for comment.
"I would love to," the UFC commentator replied.
"Noel is so fun," Carr said, to which Rogan expressed: "I love them, I love them."
In 2017, Liam Gallagher posted a message to X, formerly Twitter, that Noel Gallagher had "reached out" and "we're all good again."
What People Are Saying
In the comments underneath the podcast on YouTube, listeners urged Rogan to book Noel Gallagher for an interview.
YouTube user @THEJAM-EATERS wrote: "Yes get Noel Gallagher on please!"
@finn8598 said: "I've said for a long time that Noel Gallagher would be an amazing guest."
@debonaire_nerd shared: "YES! Get Noel Gallagher on the show. Based Jimmy."
@ipostedacomment added: "If you could somehow get Noel and Liam Gallagher together for a podcast it'd be one of the best ones ever."

From ‘Silent Witness' To BBC News Polska, The BBC Plans To Deepen Its Reach In CEE And Beyond
From Silent Witness to news, BBC content is going deeper into homes in the CEE and wider region, via dedicated channels, the BBC Player on-demand service, and a new Polish-language news site, launching this week. Bartosz Witak is tasked with increasing BBC Studios' regional presence. When he sat down with Deadline one year ago at the NEM market in Dubrovnik, he was months into his new job as General Manager for BBC Studios across CEE. He has since added Turkey and the Middle East & North Africa to his purview and built out his team, adding new ad sales, marketing, comms, and research execs. He is now scouting for a Programming Director for all of CEE & MENAT. More from Deadline Australian 'Guilt' Remake; Nine Entertainment Restructure; 'Lemurian Candidate' Adds Cast; British Short Film Awards Sold - Global Briefs Melanie Rumani Dies: BBC Studios & UKTV Global Head Of Acquisitions Battled Cancer International Insider: Animated In Annecy; Warner Split; Sarandos In Spain From his Warsaw HQ, Witak's job is to get the BBC's British fare into more homes and join the dots across the BBC Studios business, which spans channels, digital, program sales, events and more… and to do that across a wide patchwork of territories. 'We are sitting on a goldmine of tens of thousands of hours of content,' he said. 'The worst type of content you can imagine is the content that is left on the shelf. That doesn't work for anyone, so we are trying to properly structure and strategize and window.' BBC Player – which is distinct from the UK iPlayer and the drama-skewed Britbox offerings – is a growing part of the business. Witak's team inked new distribution deals for the on-demand service with CDA Premium in Poland, Cosmote in Greece, Slovak Telekom's Magio TV and T-Mobile's Magenta TV in the Czech Republic in the past year. The nature of the TV biz in CEE is, as the recent deals illustrate, about working with many different partners. 'This part of the world has actually made us entrepreneurial, because you do not deal with one or two big clients,' Witak explained. 'You do not have territories of a massive capacity, value wise. You have to constantly keep bundling, keep building, keep leveraging [multiple] third-party partners.' BBC Player is not a sold directly to viewers like a Netflix or Prime Video, but is launched in partnership with existing pay TV players, telcos and now, in the case of CDA Premium, with a streamer. 'We do not sell direct to consumer, because we are not Netflix or Max or Disney,' Witak said, before drilling down into the CDA Premium deal. 'We sell bold British creative content, and for the first time, we decided to launch with a partner that is an online streaming service, which is a slightly different model than previously, where we partnered with more traditional cable satellite operators.' In news, a Polish-language BBC News Polska site launches June 24 with original content from the BBC's Polish-speaking broadcasters including Kasia Madera and Tomasz Schafernaker. Other BBC news reports will be translated using artificial intelligence. The BBC said the service for Polish speakers 'will help counter a wave of disinformation in the region.' It is a sign of things to come in the world of news. When the Polish service was first announced, the BBC spoke of 'bold plans to pilot more non-English-language content where there is a demand for independent, impartial news as press freedom reduces globally and disinformation is rife.' In terms of the traditional channels business, the BBC Studios CEE and MENAT team have agreed numerous recent deals. The BBC Earth and BBC First channels launched to Czech customers via Vodafone and a trio of BBC-branded channels also launched with the same telco in Romania. Elsewhere, a big channels distribution deal with pay-TV service Polsat Box was also renegotiated. Looking at the big picture, Witak concludes that his job is providing a through line for the array of BBC Studios activities. 'It's about connecting the dots and talking to the market as one team, one brand, one solution. That doesn't mean that me or my team talk [to partners] about everything at the same time, we have different divisions: production, brand licensing, consumer products, events and many others. But the most important thing is to make sure that we are the face of the business.' Looking ahead, he added: 'One thing is continue building the reach for any service, any product that we are deploying in a given territory. The second thing is how we are monetizing these products and services in all these territories across the regions. Another element is to build digital products.' Ex-WWE star Shotzi Blackheart gets candid with The Post about signing with MLW
Shotzi Blackheart has had eyes on MLW for years and is finally getting to cross a major item off her wrestling bucket list. The former WWE star, who was released in May, has signed with Court Bauer's company and will debut at Summer of the Beasts at Queens' Melrose Ballroom on Thursday night, which will also see Matt Riddle defend the MLW world championship against Kenta in the main event. (9 p.m., YouTube). MLW, which has teased Blackheart's arrival, has been on her radar as a company to work for even before she had her first indie match in 2014. In her eyes, the promotion has also been 'stacked' with talent and now is no different with Riddle, Kenta, Kushida and Bishop Dyer. MLW is trying to do the same with the women's division, led by Salina de la Renta, which only added its Women's World Featherweight championship in May 2022. Blackheart wants to be a driving force in the division's rise.
