
Training program for technical education cadres in Dhamar concludes
Dhamar - Saba:
The Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector in Dhamar province concluded on Thursday a training program in the fields of Programmable Logic Control (PLC), quality assurance , accreditation, distance learning, and the use of modern automotive inspection equipment.
The program, which lasted for five days and was funded by the local authority in the province within the projects of the 1446 AH plan, aimed to qualify 78 male and female trainees from the technical , vocational education sector and its affiliated institutes.
At the conclusion of the program, Deputy Governor Mahmoud Al-Jubin stressed the importance of technical and vocational education in preparing qualified outputs that meet the requirements of the labor market.
Samir Khashafa, Director of Development Research and Training at the province office, pointed out the importance of modernizing technical and vocational education curricula to keep pace with the requirements of development , in line with the scientific and knowledge developments reached by the world.
The Director of Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector, Ahmed Al-Jarfi, praised the efforts of the local authority in supporting the technical and vocational education sector, saying that supporting this sector is an important step to promote comprehensive development efforts.

Governor Al-Bukaiti launches field visits to assess job discipline in public service units
Dhamar - Saba: Dhamar Governor Mohammed Al-Bukaiti launched on Sunday field visits to inspect and evaluate the level of job discipline and adherence to official working hours in public service units, on the first official workday following the Eid al-Adha holiday. During his inspection of the compliance level at the Health Office, accompanied by Deputy Governors Mohammed Abdulrazzaq and Mahmoud Al-Jabin, Governor Al-Bukaiti stressed the importance of adhering to official working hours and enhancing performance across all public service units in the province to ensure the delivery of public services and efficient handling of citizens' transactions. He commended the efforts of executive offices that assigned emergency teams to work during the Eid holiday, particularly health facilities and some service institutions that upheld their responsibilities in serving the community. Governor Al-Bukaiti emphasized the need for continuous monitoring of job discipline to ensure optimal performance in public service units, especially given the current challenges facing the nation. Meanwhile, Deputy Governors Mahmoud Al-Jabin and Mohammed Abdulrazzaq inspected job discipline at the offices of the General Authority for Land, Economy, Industry, and Investment; Dhamar Customs and Control; the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation; the Tax Authority branch; the Qat and Real Estate Tax units; and the Yemen Oil Company. During their visits, the deputy governors praised the high level of discipline in these offices, noting the employees' dedication and sense of responsibility in delivering services and processing citizens' transactions efficiently. In a related context, Civil Service Sector Director Issam Al-Amisi stated that the field inspection teams affiliated with the sector aim to monitor and evaluate job discipline and compliance with official working hours in public service units and ministry branches across the province. He noted that the job discipline rate on the first official workday after Eid al-Adha reached 95% in various public service units in Dhamar. General Insurance Authority begins disbursement of second half of February 2021 Pensions for Civilian Retirees on Thursday
Sana'a – Saba: The General Authority for Insurance and Pensions will begin disbursing the second half of February 2021 pensions for civilian retirees on Thursday. Ibrahim Al-Haifi, Chairman of the Authority, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the disbursement is carried out under the temporary exceptional mechanism to support state employees in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (2) of 1446 AH, which ensures the regular payment of pensions through 12 disbursement operations annually. He noted that this step comes as a result of intensive efforts and continuous coordination with the Ministers of Finance and Civil Service & Administrative Development to ensure the regular continuity of pension payments as part of the Change and Building Government Program, which places special emphasis on retirees in appreciation of their contributions and long service to Yemen. Al-Haifi called on retirees and beneficiaries' agents to visit post offices with their necessary documents to facilitate receiving their pensions. He also praised the significant cooperation of the relevant authorities, particularly the leadership of the Central Bank of Yemen, as well as the staff of the Authority, the Ministries of Civil Service and Finance, and the Central Bank, all of whom contributed to the success of the disbursement process. General Insurance Authority begins disbursing second half of January 2021 pensions
Sana'a (Saba) – The General Insurance and Pensions Authority has begun disbursing the second half of the January 2021 pensions to civilian retirees.
