
UPTAC to begin counselling May 27 for BTech admissions
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU) will open registrations for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) for BTech aspirants on May 27.
UPTAC counselling is based on scores attained in Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main), National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG).
The counselling registration fee is Rs 1000 and the deadline set for enrolling in the sessions have been set for June 30. Candidates filling the online application form are required to upload scanned images of his/her latest color photograph and signature.
The allotment of seat through counselling will be in accordance with the merit of the candidate. 'Once the seat is allotted to the candidate, no change in the Institution / Branch is admissible,' the statement from UPTAC read.

OJEE Counselling 2025: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) has started the counselling process for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2025. Eligible candidates can participate in the counselling process by registering on the official website, The OJEE round 1 mock seat allotment list will be released on July 1, and the final seat allotment list will be released on July 8. Admissions to participating colleges will be based on JEE Main and OJEE ranks 2025. The Board will conduct separate counselling for JEE Main and OJEE exam qualifiers for normal and BTech lateral entry admissions. Here's a breakdown of the counselling process: 1. Registration: Candidates need to register themselves on the OJEE website. 2. Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates will have to fill in their preferred colleges and courses, and lock their choices. 3. Provisional Seat Allotment: Based on the candidates' ranks and choices, a provisional seat allotment will be made. 4. College Reporting: Candidates will have to report to the allotted college for verification and other formalities. 5. Fee Payment and Document Verification: Candidates will have to pay the fees and submit the required documents for verification. 6. Final Seat Allotment: After the verification process, the final seat allotment will be made, and candidates will have to report to the allotted college with a seat allotment letter. The choice locking process is set to begin on July 3, 2025. Following this, the registration and choice locking's last date is July 6, 2025. On July 7, there will be a reallocation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats. The first seat allotment for Round 1 will be declared on July 8, 2025. From July 9 to July 15, candidates can complete online reporting, fee payment, document verification, and exercise their freeze or float options. The last date to respond to queries for Round 1 is July 15, 2025. Withdrawal of seats from the first allotment and choice editing for Round 2 can be done on July 16, 2025. OJEE e-counselling process begins
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) committee under the skill development and technical education department started the registration and choice filling process for e-counselling for and Integrated MSc courses, on Friday. On July 3, the choice lock facility will be activated. Candidates will choose their colleges and lock their choices by midnight on July 4. The first round allotment will be displayed on OJEE website on July 8. Candidates will report online for admission between July 8 and July 11. The second round allotment list will be published on July 19. Online reporting for this round will be held between July 19 and 21. The second or Special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will be conducted from July 23 to July 28 for admission into vacant seats of these courses following the first and second rounds. "Allotment to special OJEE candidates will be done from the vacant seats only. Therefore, care must be taken while filling the choice by second OJEE/special OJEE candidates," said OJEE chairman D P Satapathy. The third or final round allotment will be announced on Aug 1. Online reporting will be done for this round from Aug 1 to Aug 3. All candidates will physically report to the colleges or institutions on Aug 1, and the reporting will continue till Aug 6. "After final allotment, all candidates who paid part admission-cum-seat confirmation fee payment and verified their documents can download the final allotment letter and report to the finally allotted institute or college as per the schedule. Failing which, the allotment will be cancelled, and the vacant seats will be filled in institute or college level admission," said Satapathy. He said the e-counselling process will guide students on how to choose their colleges and courses based on their JEEMAIN-2025 or OJEE-2025 ranks as applicable. "Students need to read the counselling brochure and step-by-step process carefully and stay updated with new notices, if any," said the chairman.

CUET UG answer key objection window closes today, know steps you need to follow
CUET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate CUET (UG) 2025 provisional answer key objection window today June 20 at 11 PM. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website, Those who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can challenge it by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question. The agency has mentioned objection submitted without fee will not be considered. Candidates will need to enter their application numbers and dates of birth to check the answer key. Along with the answer key, NTA also released question papers and displayed candidates' responses. NTA said 'Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.' Steps to challenge provisional answer key:- Visit to Click on the 'Answer key challenge for CUET (UG) 2025'. Login with your application number and password. Check the provisional answer key and select the objection questions. Submit the objection by paying fee via online mode. This year, NTA conducted CUET UG from May 13 to June 3. The agency also held a re-test on June 2 and June 4 for those who originally appeared for the test on May 13 and May 16. The re-test was conducted after candidates raised complaints regarding questions that were not aligned with the notified syllabus. CUET UG is the national-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses offered by central universities, state universities and other participating institutions.
