MSC World America is planning to give cruise passengers the time of their life after revealing it will host the first at sea performance of Dirty Dancing.
Named Dirty Dancing In Concert, the show will bring the iconic film to life in the World Theatre on MSC World America when the ship launches this April.
Each sailing will feature multiple chances to enjoy the 90-minute Dirty Dancing in Concert, including a matinee on sea days.
It will be performed with a live band, singers and dancers, all ensuring that nobody puts baby in the corner.
The show will culminate in a finale where passengers are invited to dance in the aisles and sing along in a Dirty Dancing-themed after party.
Other onboard entertainment includes Odyssey, featuring acrobats on a dreamlike backdrop and an illusion show called Momentous.
There is also a tribute to Queen named Queen Rock Symphonic.
MSC World America is the newest and largest in the MSC Cruises fleet and features seven onboard districts, including 19 dining venues, a new All Stars Sports Bar and The Loft comedy club.
Steve Leatham, vice president of entertainment at MSC Cruises, said: 'Delivering a diverse entertainment lineup for every type of holidaymaker is central to creating an unforgettable cruise experience.
'MSC World America provides an incredible platform to push the boundaries of entertainment at sea, and we're introducing some exciting new concepts and productions.'
The Italian cruise brand has also started taking bookings for MSC World Asia, which is set to launch in December 2026.
Catering for the Asian market, the ship's designs aim to reflect the continent's culture, art and beautiful landscapes.
The first sailing is on 11 December 2026 around the western Mediterranean, including Barcelona and Valletta, with prices starting from £719 per person.
Gianni Onorato, chief executive of MSC Cruises, said: 'We have chosen to deploy our latest flagship in the Western Mediterranean as it is our most popular region. MSC World Asia will further enhance our lineup in the region, giving guests even more choice of embarkation ports and itineraries for their winter escape or summer holiday.

Seaside creperie's Gallic flair in charming Anglesey village
It's quite easy to find Mojo's restaurant in Rhosneigr. It's opposite Scarlett's Fish & Chip bar and Gecko, a shop selling beach products and renting out surf boards. You come across it if you've parked in the village and are heading towards the beach. I called in on a sunny Wednesday lunchtime last week. It's been operating for some years and is continuing with its French-themed dishes on its pleasingly diverse menu. You can expect galettes and crepes among the more traditional choices of Chicken club sandwich, Smashed avocado on toast and Rocky Road dessert. The galettes - a pancake made with organic buckwheat flour and served with salad and slaw - include ones with Steak, mushrooms and blue cheese (£13.50) and a Yellow Dot galette with cheese, Welsh ham and a local free range egg yolk. (£12.95). However my heart sank as it seemed busy from the look of the packed, outdoor tables and I worried about getting a seat but almost all the indoor tables were available. I sat there and checked the menu. There's a good range of sandwiches and ciabattas. Steak ciabatta with caramelised onions (£15.95), Halloumi with homemade chilli jam and lettuce ciabatta (£12.50) sounded good, as did the Welsh ham & cheese ciabatta (£11.50). But I liked the idea of a Bloody Mary Prawn open sandwich. It was described as "Atlantic prawns with rustic tomato sauce, mayonnaise, hint of vodka, baby gem lettuce (in a) fresh, multigrain open sandwich." The prawns were lovely and soft, and sprinkled with paprika. The "hint of vodka" may have been there but wasn't noticeable to me, and the lettuce was rocket on this occasion. It was a lovely, well-presented, light meal. There was a nice touch - a warm, grilled lemon which when squeezed over the seafood really gave those prawns some zesty piquancy. The slice of brown bread was fresh. Desserts here include a Canadian pancake Stack with four light and fluffy pancakes for £8. Customers can add a rasher of "streaky bacon" for £2. I was impressed that extra toppings like strawberries and bananas only cost £1 each. The crepes included Rocky Road (£8.50) with chocolate pieces, biscuit, marshmallows and chocolate sauce, and Biscoff (£9.50). This had "clotted cream, ice cream and Biscoff crumble" and I ordered that. The crepe was doughy and warm and came with a sauce and a sprinkling of Biscoff crumbs rather than crumble as such. Personally I would have referred a more conventional, thicker crumble. Checking with the hardworking chef Jeff later he said the sauce was a Biscoff sauce. It was pleasant enough. The vanilla ice cream worked better with the crepe than the what seemed to be whipped cream on my visit, because its sweetness contrasted nicely with the savoury dough. The choice of drinks at the bar includes Brooklyn - The Stonewall Inn IPA, and Birrificio Angelo Poretti lager (4.8pc) aswell as products from The Rhosneigr Gin Company. Mojo's interior is unpretentious. There's a wooden floor with tables and bar made from planks of timber. In keeping with the coastal setting there are prints of a turtle and shell on the wall, and even a bizarre, seaweed, themed lampshade. I'd definitely call in again. Mojo's is a cut above your average seaside eaterie. A visit here sets you up nicely to explore this charming village and Rhosneigr's two beaches Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan. The facts Location: Mojo's restaurant, bar & creperie, 7 Marine Terrace, High Street, Rhosneigr, Anglesey, LL64 5UQ. Tel.: 01407 810737. Open Monday to Wednesday 10am till 4pm, Thursday and Friday 10am till 10pm, Saturday 9.30am till 10pm, Sunday 9.30am till 5pm. Food: Well-presented and tasty with a large, diverse menu Service: Attentive and prompt The bill: Bloody Mary prawn open sandwich (£13) and Biscoff crepe (£9.50), fresh orange (£3), and Americano (£3.60). Total: £29.10. Verdict: Tres bien.

Charles shares affectionate moment with Duchess of York as race win hopes dashed
The King has known Sarah for decades but she appeared out of the royal fold until invited to spend Christmas Day with the King and Queen at Sandringham in 2023. King Charles kisses the hand of Sarah, Duchess of York (Andrew Matthews/PA) Among the famous racegoers was Harry Potter author JK Rowling who was spotted in a box at the grounds with her husband Neil Murray, former defence secretary Ben Wallace and the King's niece Zara Tindall. On the track the King and Queen's racing pot of gold failed to materialise when their horse Purple Rainbow was well beaten in the aptly named Sandringham Stakes. The royal couple watched the fast-paced race from the royal box and were glued to monitors, with the King animated in the closing stages of the mile-long sprint. He bobbed on the spot as if willing on his jockey Warren Fentiman but Purple Rainbow, who was not fancied by the bookies, did not challenge the front runners. The couple looked up in the closing stages to watch the race as it came past the stands but Never Let Go crossed the line first and the King and his wife were left opened-mouthed. The King and Queen watch their horse being beaten in the Sandringham Stakes (James Manning/PA) The touching greeting between the King and his former sister-in-law, who still remains close to ex-husband the Duke of York, may be in part due to their cancer journeys. The head of state is receiving ongoing cancer care while Sarah has spoken publicly about her own treatment for skin and breast cancer, undergoing a mastectomy. At the start of the day racegoers were given a respite from this week's sweltering conditions but the hazy cloud over the Berkshire racecourse burned away by late afternoon pushing up temperatures. Staff were handing out free bottles of water and Will Aitkenhead, head of corporate and industry affairs at the track, said they had worked hard overnight to provide more shaded areas. The King and Queen were joined in the royal box by Camilla's old school friend Lady Cavendish and her husband Lord Cavendish, the former Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad, the Queen's Companion the Marchioness of Lansdowne and musical maestro Lord Lloyd-Webber. JK Rowling in the stands at Royal Ascot (Andrew Matthews/PA) Charles and Camilla will have another chance at racing success – after two of their horses were well beaten earlier this week – when The King's Falcon runs in the Golden Gate Stakes, during Royal Ascot's final day on Saturday. The late Queen was a passionate owner and breeder of thoroughbreds and had more than 20 Royal Ascot winners during her 70-year reign. Charles and Camilla have taken on her stable of horses and enjoyed their first Royal Ascot winner in 2023 when their horse Desert Hero triumphed in the King George V Stakes. Royal Ascot is as much a social occasion as a sporting event and towards the end of the day an online video emerged of two men apparently fighting at the grounds where tens of thousands had enjoyed the day without incident.
