Petronas to deliver its first LNG Canada cargo to Japan's Toho Gas in July
TOKYO, June 20 (Reuters) - An executive from Malaysian state energy firm Petroliam Nasional said on Friday that the first cargo from its portion of supply from the LNG Canada project will be delivered to its customer, Japanese city gas provider Toho Gas, in July.
Speaking at an energy conference in Tokyo, Shamsairi Ibrahim, Petronas' vice president of LNG marketing and trading, also said that the company's third floating LNG project is set to commence production in 2027.

June 20 (Reuters) - Yum China Holdings ( opens new tab, said on Friday it has launched a new AI-enabled hands-free assistant tool at certain KFC stores in a bid to boost efficiency. The company, which operates Yum Brands' (YUM.N), opens new tab franchises including Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, said the tool, named Q-Smart, is aimed at supporting restaurant managers in tasks such as staff scheduling, inventory management, and food quality inspection. The launch follows its former parent Yum's AI-driven initiatives, including the Byte by Yum! software it launched in February, aimed at reducing wait times at restaurants and improving delivery times. Yum China said the pilot phase will lead to a larger scale roll-out of Q-Smart in the future, following incorporation of user feedback.

One of the most popular videos, posted in December, shows curious US airport security staff huddling around a traveller's unopened Labubu box to figure out which doll is inside. That element of surprise is a big part of the appeal, says Desmond Tan, a longtime collector, as he walks around a Pop Mart store in Singapore vigorously shaking blind boxes before deciding which one to buy. This is a common sight in Pop Mart. Desmond collects "chaser" characters, special editions from Pop Mart's various toy series, which include Labubu. On average, Desmond says, he finds a chaser in one out of every 10 boxes he buys. It's a good strike rate, he claims, compared to the typical odds: one in 100. "Being able to get the chaser from shaking the box, learning how to feel the difference…," is deeply satisfying for him. "If I can get it in just one or two tries, I'm very happy!"

India's central bank cuts small finance banks' lending requirement to priority sectors
June 20 (Reuters) - India's central bank on Friday reduced the mandated portion of lending that small finance banks have to extend to priority sectors such as agriculture and small businesses, lowering it by 15 percentage points. Small finance banks currently have to extend 75% of their loans to priority sectors. After a review, the Reserve Bank of India has effectively cut the requirement to 60% of total lending.
