
H.G. Infra Engineering receives provisional completion certificate for Rs 1,492 crore Odisha highway project

H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd. (HGINFRA) on Tuesday announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, H.G. Raipur Visakhapatnam OD-5 Private Limited, has received the provisional completion certificate for a major highway infrastructure project in Odisha. The certificate, issued on April 25, 2025, by the Independent Engineer, was received by the company on April 28. The project has been declared fit for commercial operations from January 4, 2025.
The project involved the development of a six-lane Kaliagura-Baunsaguar section of NH-130-CD from km 249+000 to km 293+000, under the Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor. It was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), with a contract value of ₹1,492.11 crore.
Initially scheduled to be completed by May 29, 2024, the revised completion date was set for January 4, 2025, due to project-specific delays. The entire contract was to be executed over a period of 730 days.
This project is a significant part of H.G. Infra's domestic order book and adds to its robust portfolio in national highway development. The company confirmed that there is no related party interest involved in this contract.
