
Beirut Judge issues arrest warrant for former Economy Minister Amin Salam
Beirut's First Investigative Judge Bilal Halawi issued an arrest warrant for former Economy Minister Amin Salam after a two-hour interrogation session.
Salam is facing multiple charges, including forgery, embezzlement of public funds, misuse of public money, extortion, and accepting bribes.
The charges were previously brought against him by acting Financial Prosecutor Judge Dora El Khazen.
