The hunt is on for the second EuroMillions player to win over €250,000 in a special version of the Ireland Only raffle.
This May, every EuroMillions draw will have the regular Ireland Only raffle that will see winners take home €5,000 — with those winners be entered into a separate draw, where the luckiest of the lucky will win an extra €250,000.
While there were no winners of the jackpot — worth an incomprehensible €108,197,286 — on Tuesday (May 6), 10 players won €5,000 with the Ireland Only raffle, while one player won the astonishing €255,000. Speaking on the new Ireland Only Raffle for May, National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said 'We're so excited to launch this incredible event for our players. It's going to be a whirlwind of winners in Lottery HQ! Not only are players in for a treat with the additional raffle prize of €250,000, ticket holders in Ireland will also be in with a chance of winning the juicy jackpots in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus games!'
All you have to do is buy a regular EuroMillions ticket, and you're automatically entered in the Ireland Only Raffle — receiving a unique raffle code for each line you buy.
During each draw in May, 10 players in Ireland will win the standard €5,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle; where they'll be entered in a special draw where one lucky winner will win the extra €250,000.
