Kaye Adams has battled "sleepless nights" over ITV's budget cuts.
The 62-year-old presenter has been a regular panellist and host on 'Loose Women', the broadcaster's afternoon talk show, since it began in 1999, and Kaye has admitted ITV's "out of the blue" move to air the show for 30 instead of 52 weeks of the year from 2026 has made her feel uncomfortable.
Speaking on her 'How to be 60' podcast, she admitted: "It did come out of the blue.
"I didn't anticipate it, which is probably stupid in retrospect. You get into a sort of rhythm of life.
"I had a couple of sleepless nights I have to say, because it's just like the rug's been pulled from under your feet – what has been familiar."
ITV is also axing over 220 jobs, and Kaye branded that decision as "terrible".

She said: "It's going to have an impact. Lots of people will lose their jobs completely which is terrible. It's a huge change."
Despite Kaye thinking the dramatic change at ITV is "hard" to come to terms with, she does suspect that it could be a force of good for the future.
She said: "But I gave myself a talking to and I listened to my own advice for once – change is hard, but it can be good.
"The past is a trap, don't fear the future – I'm telling myself all these things. And maybe this is the nudge that I needed to make some changes in my life and I'll just have to go with it."
Fellow 'Loose Women' panellist Nadia Sawalha recently admitted she felt "tearful" about the budget cuts at ITV, and she fears how the broadcaster's new plans could impact employees who work behind the scenes.
The 60-year-old actress said on her YouTube channel: "What's been brutal, absolutely brutal, over the last week, honestly I feel tearful about it, is that hundreds of people ... are going to be made redundant out of the blue, these are all the people behind the scenes that support us in every way."
And Nadia - who, like Kaye, has been a regular panellist on 'Loose Women' since the show's launch - revealed she and her fellow stars could be "let off" at any moment from the programme due to their self-employed contract.
She explained: "What people don't realise at 'Loose Women' is that we're self-employed, I am self-employed. Every contract is a new contract.
"I could be let go tomorrow, I could be let go in five years - you don't know because we're not employees."
As well as 'Loose Women', the morning magazine show 'Lorraine' will now operate on a 30-week "seasonal basis", while a raft of shows will be broadcast from a new location in central London.
Kevin Lygo, the managing director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, recently said the broadcaster was going through a "transition".
He said: "I recognise that our plans will have an impact on staff off-screen in our Daytime production teams.

"We will work with ITV Studios and ITN as they manage these changes to produce the shows differently from next year, and support them through this transition.
"Daytime has been a core element of ITV's schedule for over 40 years and these changes will set ITV up to continue to bring viewers award-winning news, views and discussion as we enter our eighth decade."

Netflix fans all watching 'one of the best series' with dramatic twist ending
Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt stars in the thriller North Shore, hailed for its 'best twist ever' by fans. Originally aired in 2023, the Australian-produced North Shore first graced UK screens on ITV and has now found a new lease of life on Netflix, captivating a fresh audience. In less than a week since its Netflix debut, it has soared to become one of the platform's most-watched titles among subscribers, clinching the top spot for most-watched series in the UK. It's outperforming new crime thrillers like The Waterfront and Dept. Q, but those without a Netflix account need not worry as it's still available for free streaming on ITVX. The six-part series weaves a tale of Australian and British detectives who join forces to solve a murder, only to stumble upon an international conspiracy with far-reaching political implications, all set against a backdrop of cultural collision, reports Surrey Live. Joining Froggatt in the cast is Game of Thrones actor John Bradley, adding to the show's allure. Despite not garnering enough critical attention to earn a Rotten Tomatoes score, the series has sparked considerable buzz online among viewers. One particularly enthusiastic fan took to social media to praise the finale: "One of the best twists of all time. The final episode has the most surprising twist of any crime/ murder mystery series since the first season of Broadchurch! Not as emotionally dramatic but still shocking!". Echoing the same sentiment, another viewer expressed: "I really enjoyed this as it kept me guessing. Most crime dramas are too obvious and full of plot holes." They further elaborated: "This one was very well written and I really didn't have any idea which way it was going to go, which kept me on the edge of my seat. The acting was also excellent and the backdrops a testimony to the beauty of Sydney."

ITV downgrade as This Morning and Loose Women find budget new home amid 'major money-saving mission' - and 'it's a far cry from the plush life the stars are used to'
This Morning and Loose Women 's new home has been confirmed amid 'major money-saving mission'. Just last month fans were left shocked when it was revealed that the two programmes have been axed for half the year as ITV announced a big shake up to its daytime schedule due to cuts. The shows have been filmed at the well-known Television Centre in Shepherds Bush, west London, since 2018. But now it's time for change, because according to The Sun, This Morning, Loose Women and Lorraine will be filmed at The Hospital Club in Convent Garden. A source told the publication: 'ITV are on a major budget saving mission and have landed a new deal to film ITV Daytime at what was The Hospital Club. 'It's quite apt really as I'm sure they hope the move to the former hospital will breathe some life into their programme budgets. 'All three of their main shows, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will be based there... in the basement where there's a state of the art studio.' 'The changes are needed to keep up with the ever evolving world of TV but it's a far cry from the plush life stars have become accustomed to at White City.' An ITV source added: 'We have always said that when the changes to our daytime schedule take place in 2026 that these programmes will find a new home. 'The new studio is not yet confirmed and when it is we will obviously communicate that news to our staff first.' MailOnline have contacted ITV for comment. ITV bosses announced huge cuts with job losses in excess of 220 in May. Good Morning Britain has taken Lorraine's slot between 9 and 10am for 22 weeks of the year. This means that Lorraine will present for the remaining 30 weeks of the year. The show will only last half an hour, meaning that it will start at 9:30am. And that host Lorraine Kelly will host all of those, meaning that her step-in hosts Ranvir Singh, 47, and Christine Lampard, 46, will no longer be needed. As of now, This Morning - hosted by Ben Shephard, 50, Cat Deeley, 48, Alison Hammond, 50, and Dermot O'Leary, 52 - remains untouched. Earlier this month it was revealed that Loose Women has also axed a vital part of the show - that there will no longer be a live audience. A TV source told MailOnline: 'The panelists are really upset over the decision to axe the live studio audience from the show. 'It's what sets the series apart from the rest of ITV daytime and now there are massive fears that viewers will switch off completely. 'The only concern now is to cut costs and having a live studio audience can be expensive, with the added need for security and a warmup artist. 'Presenters already know how it feels to broadcast the show without an audience because that's what happened during the pandemic, and they all know it creates low mood and lack of atmosphere.' And Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha has admitted that she's 'totally devastated' after revealing her 'dear friend' has been axed from the ITV show. Addressing the change on a recent episode of her podcast Coffee Moaning, alongside her husband Mark Adeley, Nadia said: 'From next year there will be no Loose Women audience. 'I am totally devastated by this fact, I can't get over it at all. Not only because the audience is so important for the show, but also my dear friend Lee who I work with every day.' Comedian, broadcaster and presenter Lee Peart has been part of the team after joining the programme as the warm-up act in 2017. An insider said: 'While there is a proposal to not have a studio audience for Loose Women from 2026, that doesn't necessarily mean that we'll never have a studio audience again, it just won't be in the same way as it is now.'

Popular Emmerdale star Fred Kettle addresses long-awaited return - and it's soon
Emmerdale's Fred Kettle has opened up about his return to the show. Fred's first scenes as Dylan Penders aired earlier this year, when we learnt what April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) had been through while living rough in Leeds. A flashback episode of the ITV soap revealed April had befriended Dylan and a woman called Becca while on the streets, two people who looked out for her a lot. Troubled teen Dylan was battling a drug addiction, which was central to the storyline he was a part of when he made his way to the village. At the time, April's relationships with the likes of Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) were fractured due to the fact neither of them could understand what she had been through. When Dylan arrived in Emmerdale looking for April, she became determined to help him, with the two youngsters sharing the connection of life on the streets. Dylan caused a great deal of trouble at Smithy Cottage, but it was largely down to the fact Marlon didn't really want him around. He only allowed him to stay because he thought it would help rebuild his relationship with April, but he then took drastic action in an attempt to get rid of him. Marlon planted some drugs from the vet cabinet in Dylan's coat pocket, making it look as though he had lied to April about getting clean. The character was sent away, but he then attempted to overdose and was rushed into hospital. Marlon and Dylan made an agreement there that he would pay for Dylan's rehab and in return, he would not contact April. Since then, April has made a great deal of progress when it comes to readjusting to normality again. Dylan's return is bound to challenge her, as she is served another reminder of the chapter in her life she'd really rather forget. Speaking to the Mirror, star Fred Kettle said that he is thrilled to be back in the role of Dylan. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street?
